the ladies European tour is back in Belgium after a year’s absence and just 25 km south of the capital of Brussels is Hulenor okay this pictures setting is a location of historical significance and someone today will be hoping to make their own mark over this Parkland layout hosting the le for the very first time after a third and second place finish already this season shannon Tan looking to go one better leading at halfway Helen Breams challenge stalled a little yesterday but still one of the favorites darcy Harry amongst the rookies in the mix looking like she belongs in just her ninth le start nastasia Nado exuding confidence is 67 yesterday the French youngster looks a big danger but out in front is Avan Pashant the Indian teenager leads heading into the final round for the first time on the ladies European tour a massive day ahead pashant in front but it’s a top three who have not got a single le title between them and the average age of the top six is just 21 years old well good afternoon to you it’s going to be a fun one nicely set up for the final round of the Huland Court Women’s Open as we just get past the first third of the 2025 Ladies European Tour season a real pleasure to be back in Belgium who is going to be lifting that fine bronze owl statue of a trophy at the end of the day pass 72 just under 6,400 yards today at Hulen Corp we’re right in the center of Belgium in the town of Vieenappa and conditions are good it is windy but after the red hot temperatures of Friday the odd shower on Saturday set fair for the final day i’m Richard Coffman welcome along by me is four times Soulheim Cup captain Mickey Walker mickey I could ask you who’s going to win today but I think that might be a little unfair well I think your guess is as good as mine Richard there are so many talented players at or near the top of the leaderboard lots of use lots of experience and it’s so tightly packed the leaderboard literally one shot one hole could make the difference well before we get into the action let’s check out the order of merit this event 11 of the season six of the top 10 are in action but not the top two mimi Rhodess not here after her three wins sarah Kuska backto-back wins actually playing on the access tour and going well in Czecha in her hometown helen Bream starts the week in seventh so a win would take her up to third shannon Tan starts in fourth a win would take her up to second and if Cara Gainner who is in touch going into the last day would win she would actually go above Mimi Roads and back to the top of the rankings so a lot could change this afternoon so play got underway just after 9:00 this morning and uh it’s been interesting difficult conditions and it’s fair to say a very nervous start for Avenue Pashant went into the bunker off the tea and she had that for par bogey start i mentioned already Mickey first time leading going into the far round on the early T yes we weren’t sure how she would cope with this situation it was tricky first thing but that will be another bogey at the second so two shots dropped straight away so back to eight under par which meant it all got tighter and out of the pack came a Gat Suzanne she started 2 hours before the leader leaders went out that was her third at the par 513 setting her up for a sixth birdie of the day to take her within two lauren Moch got off to a great start what a way to start with a putt of that length we haven’t seen that many putts hold but that was a cracker on the first not quite as far at the par 4 eighth but after piles in between Walsh at the time moving within one at eight under par the Irish woman up there again now here’s a player we’ve been impressed with jinny Ding the first player from Hong Kong to get her tour card that was actually for an eagle but it would be a tapping birdie yeah that was at the ninth so out in 34 for Jinny Ding up and down day for Nastasia Nadau three putted the six for her second bogey of the round but I think made up for it here at eight well that’s the sort of distance you want left for a birdie isn’t it and one she would make to get herself to nine under par alongside Darcy Harry but Harry making a birdie of her own at the very same hole the Welsh woman moving to 10 under par dropped a shot at the second but also birdied the par 3 fifth so it’s Harry out in front from the dough amelia Garvey with an eagle at 10 and a birdie at 13 making a real move on the back nine the big hitter from New Zealand now within two there’s Suzanne who we’ve been watching going along really nicely seven underpart arian Clots got her first top 10 of the season last week in Tenneref up there again and Kelsey Bennett unfortunately not pushing on in this final round no birdies on the card same for Helen Bream who’s par every hole so far but she is playing the ninth right now Mickey which she’s gone eagle birdie birdie over the last three days yes I think she likes that hole well there she is in the foreground playing with Shannon Tan who’s one over par for the day this is her fourth shot now at this par five that gives you a great idea about the surrounds to so many of the greens here at Huland Court she played that very well that wasn’t easy well it’s very exposed around Hulen Court you can see there are plenty of trees around but it it gets windy and I don’t know Mickey would you say today’s the windiest it’s been it’s very gusty i mean we were both out there early this morning watching play and the wind was definitely a factor when when you’re sheltered on the tea and then your ball gets out of that shootute as it were it is really affected by the wind so it’s definitely going to be a factor today we’re looking down at the par 59 in the Belgian countryside you wouldn’t know you’re only what 24 25 km away from the city center of the country’s capital alan Bream still got a birdie putt to come she’s looking for a first birdie of the day as is Kelsey Bennett i mean it’s one of those situations right where lot seems to have changed but not much has changed yes it was it was very tightly packed at the top i suppose the big change is that Avani um Prasanth has uh slipped back we weren’t sure how she was going to react well that’s what she needed the camera’s on her yeah much needed first birdie for the Australian who led the way after day one kelsey Bennett 67 all smiles again let’s catch up again with a Gat Suzanne who missed a 10-ft chance for Birdie over at 14 here she is now at 15 and she’s missed another part of similar length she just under hit that a little bit it didn’t wasn’t hit at a pace to hold its line now come on can Helen make her first birdie of the day no we wondered whether yesterday was the the the dull day for Helen Bream shot around of 72 but for the first time she does a profit at this par five ninth one of the players who were part of Katrina Matthews Victoria’s Curtis Cup team and that’s a bonus birdie for Burn sarah Sarah Burton yeah she showed great fighting spirit didn’t she she uh really was a key member of the GB and II Curtis Cup team that won at Sunnydale last year so backto-back birdies to start the back nine for Burn she moves to five under pass a couple of Irish players are in there with Lauren Walsh too only ever had one Irish winner on tour Leona Maguire that’s amazing isn’t it yeah only one player from Singapore as we just saw Shannon Tan tap in well I don’t think nine successive pass was what Helen Breen was looking for but she hasn’t fallen any further back she’s still within two i think as you say it’s not what she was looking for but we know what she’s capable of and I wouldn’t be at all surprised were she to suddenly um do something extraordinary i mean she just needs to get the putter to work on a couple of putts and that would make all the difference second shot into this reachable par five turned it over well that clattered off the le signage board not sure which way it ricocheted though we shall find out find out in a moment next to go is the leader Darcy Harry really good position off the tea right hand side of the fairway to attack this lefthand pin well that was a superb shot by Darcy yeah that was fabulous right at it from the Welsh player it’s not thick rough but it it’s a little tangly in there well you can see those white flowers those are um at the top of clover they can be very thick we can see her ball so it’s not too lying too badly coming from the wrong side though that’s not a bad miss plenty of green to work with be interested to see where D where Anthony Pashant’s ball has finished up yes it just shows you the importance of being in the right place off the tea not I’m not talking about just being in the rough but you can see Nadau was on the left side the pin was on the left side she had no option but to play out to the right side of the green and it was a pretty decent effort from where she was yeah for a Pashant it it’s been a difficult day no birdies we saw those nervy edgy bogeies early on you got to remember she is only 18 but she talked very confidently after the third round yesterday but today is another day well I think no matter how confident you are when you go out you’re leading the tournament last match of the day that’s a new experience for her yes she’s she’s won tournaments but not not of the nature of a professional tournament um and she’s desperate to do well and as you say she got off to a poor start then steadied the ship and she is by the green in two and this is a par five she’s just got to uh you know just there’s still 10 holes to go and she’s not out of it by any means but uh it’s a new completely new experience well she’s got her work cut out here there is a a route through there interesting to see whether she can work it out now lauren Walsh par 510th walking after it just delay up but uh well going to get pretty close over the last couple of years since she’s turned professional we’ve seen quite a bit of Lauren Walsh and uh we know she is a class act and it’s just not is she going to win on tour but when and Yeah that was lucky Richard wasn’t it all these trees and she’s got a cat through the middle yeah maybe have to play it a little low i’m not sure how much those branches will come into play that was a little bit unlucky because it just needed one more bounce and it would have been very close been one of those days so far for Bashant work to avoid the third drop shot of the day so problems for the 18year-old from Bengaluru we’ll move over to Ameilia Garvey at the short par 450 just birded 13 and 14 so she’s up to eight under par uh mom Beverly’s come out to watch her this week for the very first time on the Ladies European tour since she’s got her card might be a worthwhile trip absolutely and she might get asked to come out more often back to nine well that’s a little clumsy to say the least from Nau yes I don’t think that was quite the contact that she was expecting or had and she admits herself Vicki if there is a weakness in a gr game it is around the greens something she’s worked really hard on but we’re talking today under the most severe of pressure yes that was um that wasn’t a very well played shot technically it’s easy for us to say but wasn’t good now come on Avani yeah porting up and down this and uh she has not landed it in the right spot it’s all getting rather messy in these last few groups there is an opportunity for someone out of the pack to to jump out and try and grab this i mentioned the average age of the top six heading into this last day he was 21 years old and I think we’re seeing the inexperience coming through at the moment one of the other things Richard I think Avani has got a local um golfer not you know not of any great note who’s just a volunteer to pull her clubs as it were he didn’t know her from Adam at the start of this week and she did she didn’t know him and he’s not really able to give her the support that say a caddy would in this situation when things were going wrong she’s She’s having to learn by herself and try and get herself out of this mess well Nadau will be hoping she makes a better effort of this one i think she’s got the putter out this time i think we’re just Yeah Nadau and Darcy Harry have more experienced men on the bag gm Caddying for Nadau where is Darcy Harry well we’ll tell you about Caddy in a moment and well it’s it’s not got much better really has it what’s going on Mickey yeah I think the margins can be really fine and if you follow one poor shot with another that’s what can happen garvey to avoid a drop shot at 15 well done walked it in you saw her cousin there cadding for a Jamie he’s a a coach in his own right clauding that one in she’s got a chance pick up another birdie pick up two 10 under might set a stiff task it’s not as it’s not as much uphill as it looks this is for Eagle though for Darcy Harry who at the moment is the shining light in these last few groups well that’s not dead yet for Darcy Harry you see the the gentleman there carrying the flag just walking out of picture that is her boyfriend Jacob Scov Olison a Danish there he is danish DP World Tour player won the men’s amateur last year oh that just nearly hit the pin pretty good effort there from Lauren Walsh and she has the pedigree although she hasn’t been a professional very long we know how talented she is and how she can go low come on Avani ends the front nine the way she started it with a bogey poor second shot really put her in the trouble it may be a little unlucky that she hit the the advertising board and bounce further away but that is a front nine of 39 should she pop in that next one well Nadau I mean greenside in two now grinding for par this is the beauty of sport isn’t it you You can think you know what might happen but it doesn’t often well Mickey you said at the start you had no idea who would win it’s so hard to just literally stay in the moment and concentrate one shot at a time well that is such a messy six two birdies two bogeies to this point so adding 37 now for Nadau and that means I mean Darcy Harry’s got a putt in a moment to take a three-sh shot lead incredible just incredible how quickly things can change she boied the second which was a very difficult hold today with a par three with a pin very much at the very back of the green and then since then she’s had a couple of birdies one on the next par three the fifth and then one on the eighth which we saw at the start of the program no problems at all brilliant by the young Welsh woman a threeshot lead to take into the back nine so another bogey for Aan Pashant body language says a lot there work to be done walls to try and close the gap no that was to reduce the lead to two and you can see how much the wind is gusting by the way it’s blowing um the players skirts there well Darcy Harry has taken control over that front nine so many players stumbling three shot lead now over four players that includes Amelia Garvey who’s close to home but it’s the 22-year-old from Cardiff playing in just her ninth ladies European Tour event who leads the way 11 under par at the Hulen Court Women’s Open jinny Ding by the way dropped a shot at 10 which is why she is at seven under par saw that birdie from Kelsey Bennett gets her back to level par shannon Tan and Kelsey Bennett have laid up whereas Helen Broom feels she can get there dad’s been pacing things out and you do feel Richard that if she were to play the par fives a couple of par fives on the back nine as we know she can take advantage of her length birdie these two i mean that would put her right up just one behind the leader but you can see the pin the pins today i think there are a lot of very tricky pins this one 23 yds back but just five in from the right hand side oh that was a bit of luck wasn’t it maybe that was just the bit of luck she needed she won’t have seen where that finished she won’t know where it is she’ll have known it was very close to that bunker yeah maybe the uh little twist that she needs we shall see let’s catch up with Emmy Peronan French player everyone’s got their own little goals emmy at the moment inside the top 20 never had a top 10 on the Ladies European tour the French player and he’s had a couple but only as an amateur 2023 two top 10s see where those trees kind of come like in like this yeah straight through up there just go like there maybe right it should hold well she played this hole pretty well last couple of days birdie Eagle in the third round yesterday hold a really long punch she said you know you do look at you know qualifying school who’s coming through and you did see the name of Darcy Harry amateur she won the first stage and then she finished second at the final stage and you’re thinking okay Tita Green I mean drivers her favorite club in the bag she says and I think we just saw an example of that there Tita Green excellent but we just seen her maybe fallibility around the greens at at last at nine kelsey Bennett laid up at this par 510 so third shot in perfect for distance mickey we’re just seeing aren’t we a good example of how the greens through the week have furbed up with the wind as well very much so i mean I I I do think we’ve seen a lot of what outwardly looks like poor putting i think these are really tricky greens to read as we see Amelia Garvey there with her well that’s three territory where she’s put that one unfortunately the Kiwi know straight away she’s overcooked this one it got a little bit of spin though there are more back pins today and that makes it particularly difficult as you say with the greens firming up with it being windy there’s a real premium and getting into the right part of the green last week she was in contention going into the final round it it didn’t quite work out for her keeps putting herself in a lot of good positions ever since the first week of the year shannon Tam where she was amongst the contenders in Morocco lauren Walsh actually was up there as well at that LA Mariam Cup she’s reached the par 31th good shot last week she was leading at the halfway stage and fell away this week she started slowly is now pushing through Lauren Walsh that’s majestic isn’t it blue heron lovely lots of fantastic bird life around this course none more so than the owls amazing history around this golf course and owls very much take a part which is why the bronze owl is the the actual trophy there are 200 species of owls in the grounds and hulen court was originally known as owl court up until the 18th century laled de IU to give its uh proper title helen Bream’s sister Amelia and her mom watching on love to see a well I was going to say they’d love to see a Helen Bream birdie but I think on this occasion maybe an eagle i think they’d settle for two putts get back on the birdie trail slow down slow down it was a good putt very good putt it’s very easy with these approach putts to for the ball just to run an uncomfortable distance past yeah she’s been on this par run the last thing you want to do is break the par run with a bogey it looks like she might be able to do it with a birdie couple of 68s to start the week for Helen Breen but only managed two birdies yesterday and none so far today darcy and Yakob discussing what’s coming up next at this par five kind of looks like it’s in reach for Harry good try just a path for Shannon Tan find yourself five behind now though and Darcy in reach at this car five well it’s a birdie party name for Amelia Garvey here yeah that was really a good path quite a lot of back pins difficult to get that yourself hit enough cop to get to them as we see if Kelsey can have backto back birdies but not on this occasion nice T- shot at the par 311 from Laur so this for the two there we go up and running helen Bream cashes in for the first time today and she moves to solo second and that’s worth a hug isn’t it i mean I got to say Yokim is the calmst father caddy I think I’ve ever seen it’s not an easy relationship i had my father caddy for me a couple of times and it was a recipe for falling out for sure and I would point out I know it’s Father’s Day today but apparently it’s not in Germany that was a few weeks ago i I don’t know how that all works out but it is in many parts of the world kelsey Bennett pops that in i mean who decides when Father’s Day is or Mother’s Day for that matter good question jenny Ding disappointing six at that par five here she is now 12 yes today the first day that we’ve seen that pin over on the left hand side close to the water second shot in for Darcy Harry good shot just short of the green two good hits you get the feeling they’re a very good combination jakob seems quite laidback you might even know him Richard but Darcy’s a bit more bubbly and outgoing yeah a calming influence I think we would call him one of those got some making up to do after what happened at nine they just got ahead of that with her body and left the club face open and left it in a very awkward spot over there on the right yeah she mentioned that her short game not the best part of her game well I tell you what it’ll be tested with that because she’s got no green to work with at all off the back of a first birdie of the day bream at 11 didn’t miss a spot by much went flag hunting laid up did Anthony Brashant so third shot now at this par five well downwind coming out of the rough firm greens absolutely no chance of holding the ball cuz she’s hit a good shot there but uh now work to do again you can see how some of the pins today are tucked there’s a lot of back green P positions and a lot of very close to the edge pin positions just seen exactly where this one is well that was a long way away yeah it’s tough scoring out there although two players out on the course five under Aaton and Amelia Garvey both five under par for their day as they come close to home well I think Shannon Tan hopefully would have learned from those first two T- shots there’s a lot of room on that group miss Fairways and Greens when I say miss I don’t mean she’s miss she doesn’t miss really but she did actually miss three fairways yesterday which by her standards is a a very poor day well you don’t see that very often from Shannon do you might have a number of players you’re not quite at it today i think it’s a a great golf course this when you look at it you think “Oh that’s not that tough.” But the subtleties around on and around the greens I think are are fantastic and you you know you can make a hole hard or diff or easy depending on where you put the pin as we’ve seen today well this is a good spot again for Darcy Harry she’s played that very nicely i’d like to a little closer yeah golf course that later this year in September will be hosting a progolf tour event the Iron Juke Belgian Open named the Iron Juke because the Duke of Wellington was uh settled here ahead of the Battle of Waterloo a few years ago genie Ding for Birdie at 12 and they’re also going to be hosting the first stage of DP World Tour qualifying school later this year as well be very interesting to see how the men get on with this course now does she run this up does she fly it all the way she didn’t have to i don’t think there was room to flight all the way she had to pitch it in the fringe and let it trundle up but two holes from home amelia Garvey wonderful well that’s a fantastic shot from Amelia Garvey and pop that in make things interesting there’s a lot to be said for posting a score oh beautifully done by Avani she won’t be excited but she’s stopped the rot that was a really a lovely little shot yeah go ahead that was Bennett chipping up coming up shy pounding the error there’s a lot of frustrated looks out on this Hulu Court golf course at the moment it’s not really been serene progress for many if any gm stepping all over the line there isn’t he still Caddy he’s going this way that way then the other way is he going to start dancing in a minute almost like he was going to stand there with his feet across across Nadau’s line and putt putt through my feet well whatever they discussed between them it worked that was a really good puck by Lo yeah it certainly did work well that makes amends for the mistake of the last super up and down for Birdie back to nine under par takes her alongside Helen Bream second place at the moment to behind Darcy Harry but we know Harry’s got a birdie putt to come at that hole it’s so difficult when you’ve got shots such as the one that Helen Bream just had you know you you haven’t got enough room really to land it on the green putting through the fringe onto the green is very difficult to judge the pace and she had the slope down going downhill when it got to the green so not easy to get that one absolutely dead so the lead has been cut back to two but Darcy Harry has this to reestablish the threeshot advantage she had coming to the 10th well she’s looked very calm very composed and on a bit of a run three birdies in a row looking very assured darcy Harry 12 under par now that was a really good approach putt anytime you get these long putts on these greens absolutely stone dead you’ve done a good job sarah Burn for another birdie gets to six under par fourth birdie of the round she told us early this year that if she has six birdies in a round she she treats herself to an ice cream so she’s only two away that could be important that was a good up and down from where she was yeah just grabbed the right edge i thought it was going to miss well I would quite say she’s got one hands on the the bronze hour trophy but Darcy Harry is looking extremely good right now birdies at 8 9 and 10 it could be some weekend celebrating her 22nd birthday yesterday will be today about celebrating a first ladies European tour title she is right now the one in charge saw Kelsey Bennett uh just now chipping up unfortunately she didn’t make the putt at 11 so she slips back to six under par just want to pitch it like a smooth six red mark where the grass yeah it’s left there you got wind oh let out a position darcy Harry finds herself in there aren’t that many leaderboards out on the course there’s one coming up at the moment at 12 but wouldn’t have seen one for a while i wonder whether she knows how commanding her position is well that’s down there towards Kelsey Bennett territory must be the breeze that’s fooling the players i think it is the gustiest it’s been it’s the windiest it’s been and you can’t you can’t always feel the wind because of the trees depending on whether there are trees sheltering the tea or not but I think it’s really really tricky and when the pins are so close to the edges there’s just no margin for error i mean that looks a really poor shot but as you say I think it is the conditions that are making it difficult you can see there’s the tea is quite sheltered here and you get out maybe they’re not feeling the wind back on the tea what a good shot that was from Nado really excellent best shot we’ve seen for a long time on this 11th wonderful T-shot at 17 and it gets its reward super putt what a round she’s putting together now six under for the day she’s in a share of second place and looking like she’s going to set the target here amelia Garvey some round that Mickey fantastic i mean we know her credentials as a player but she’s really delivering today very quick put for Lauren Walsh i mean look it’s looked like he might not get there but easily did that was really well judged coming straight downhill towards the water playing with Cara Gaina who unfortunately not having the day she wanted one over par for the day yes picturesque Belgian countryside hosting is Huden Court women’s open the overnight leader Afne Pashant now finds herself five shots behind the leader well that’s a popular place today we’ve seen several players in almost an identical position want to measure carer one over for the day well that will help super 66 yesterday from her she’s been struggling with this wrist issue going to take the next couple of weeks off a win today would have taken her to the top of the rankings interestingly now we’re talking about here this is the penultimate event to qualify for Evian now I don’t want to get carried away for Darcy Harry but she can tick so many boxes this afternoon she won’t necessarily be aware of this but with a win Darcy Harry could move up to sixth on the order of merit so that would get her into Evian but also a win would get her into the AIG Women’s Open we know that Royal Pourth call is the setting this year in Wales in her homeland she starts the week 33rd on the rankings but she would move into that top 10 guarantee her spot in one major which is the women’s open and pretty much guarantee herself a spot in the second of those in Evian next month there’s some terrific rewards if she can convert from her position at the moment you wouldn’t want to tell her that right now because she’s probably nervous enough as it is oh I tell you what that wasn’t far away from being very good but now I do think from what I’ve seen of um her interaction with uh Jacob that he’s a very good influence a very good person for her to have on the bag this week in this situation and he has been helping her read those putts as well and as you mentioned Aan’s got Olivier from Luxembourg on the bag there he is just one of the volunteers this week now on another day that could have hit the pin and gone in well we saw that yesterday when she put it at 16 and it hit the flag and came out went back in this one just catches the hole but at some pace yes that that made it almost gather pace didn’t it so work to do for both the leader Harry and for Avani Brashant whereas for Nastasi Nadau thinking maybe there could be a twoshot swing on this hole i’m seeing nothing well they could be we could uh come off the screen and we’d have two tied at the top left that you see moving a little bit here and then straightening no I like that even more when it moves we could even see a little bit outside so Harry got a putt to stay at 12 under whereas Nado has a putt to get to 10 under you can hear Jakob there just muttering away saying exactly where he thinks this puck is going to go first Dane he was to win the amateur championship that was in Ireland last year valley lifting straight wasn’t hit with authority was it well it was a quick punt you can understand so second drop shot of the day one at the second in between four birdies still leading but that three shot lead may be down to one in a moment back there in a moment with that big birdie putt to come from Nidau lovely shot by Bennett yeah good pass well that drop shot as well from Darcy Harry maybe keeps Amelia Garvey’s hopes alive as well she probably needs to birdie 18 as well so good was the T-shot from Nadau these two putting for par before she puts for birdie yeah good well done yeah something good happened i know but she You wouldn’t know it would you you just think she’d made double bogey the way she’s walking off there you can understand her dreams are slipping away when you’re 18 you want it now don’t you well this would make a huge difference as they stepped on to the 11th T three shots between them they can move to the 12th T with just one shot separating Harry from Nado super two what a response starts the back nine birdie birdie after making a mess of nine and she now has some momentum you can tell her personality is one of calm composure isn’t it and that’s such an asset in sport good angle here for Helen on the 12th to attack this pin and she’s made a pretty good job of that well things change don’t they very quickly overnight it was Avan Brashant with the advantage that’s all disappeared darcy Harry what 10 minutes ago had a threeshot lead on the leaderboard now that’s down to one amelia Garvey finishing in a hurry she’s played that back nine so far in five underpar brilliant performance from the New Zealander it’s going one way then the other for Sarah Burn comes over at 14 for the Irish woman couple of courses here there’s a a nine-hole course called the uh the Verier this course is known as Levon with a little valley nice look of the 12th hole one of the most picturesque holes on the course three lakes on this hole most of the players sitting in a little wood for position just aiming at the second of the lakes on the left hand side which they won’t reach that that can happen you’re aiming away from the wand lake and you pull it now you can see there is some some thick rough there well what I was going to say Mickey what do you do now she’s got a a tangly lie in there and she’s got to come right over the water at that flag that’s a dangerous second shot she’s got coming up next well I think first of all you don’t aim anywhere near the flag you take the left half of the green out of the equation just an iron off the tea for Pashant love the foot movement don’t you it’s like the shiflla shuffle isn’t it it certainly is it’s It’s as iconic as that and I’m sure she’ll be around for a long long time yeah if not today you feel it’s another day i mean she’s only played what this is her 10th le event as a professional it’s only a ninth for Darcy Harry though mind you and she’s watching it anxiously that’s okay that hasn’t reached the clover or the thicker rough it’s just fantastic how you can make a hole easier or harder by where you put the the pin well I think it’s going to be one of those days which is going to go right to the wire that three shot lead down to one now for the Welsh wizard of Darcy Harry we saw the second of Helen Breen on the 12th this for Birdie well it was a good effort but it’s just going to be a par started the back nine with three birdies in four holes sarah Burn great attempt oh what a putt never mind attempt in it goes well she is motoring well that’s rather a nice back nine so far isn’t it four birdies in five holes oh yes to 18 with Garvey and another one absolutely arrow straight at the pin look how far down she was Mickey i mean that’s that’s extraordinary she’s made that hole what is it 392 yds into a driver and a flick and it’s such an advantage that that hole it’s the biggest green longest deepest green on the course and the pin today 35 yds on lovely seconded for Kelsey Bennett well she was the one to set the yard stick on day one dug in deep on day two with some great up and downs to stay amongst the leaders been up there all week but looks like a challenge is now fading here and she knows it well this is going to be interesting for Nastasia Ado oh you can see it’s fairly straightforwards for a Barney or Shanth but the others it’s not in today more or less the center of the green it’s the first time that slope to the water really has come into play you can’t obviously go left of that pin at all but another example of her not quite being where she wants things to be they fish the tea up today at 13 so playing 461 yds has made it reachable yeah that’s a really good angle she has to face here what do you do i mean the water is staring you in the face do you chip out sideways i mean we we don’t know the lie the best move now this isn’t so bad you can see the ball it’s sitting up quite nicely um I would say you aim to hit this to the right of the camera tower at the back of the screen it’s going straight at it i think that tells you about her mindset right now she is losing confidence difficult to get too too cute with that one because there’s as you see there’s not much green now she’s thinking about this one it’s obviously sitting down we can’t see it so the line isn’t good i think she’s probably aiming for the between the pin and the front right side of the green yeah I think if she aimed at the right edge of that green I think that would be a result you just don’t know what sort of contact you’re going to get out of that i think she had a like a 50° wedge she’s doing exactly what you suggested Richard oh that wrap that hustle wrap around the ball that’s going left oh you could see that she was trying to swing as hard as she could she couldn’t get the club going forwards as soon as the cop hit the grass the toe wrapped around the huzzle and pulled it left she wasn’t intending to go anywhere near that pin i don’t know if she knows whether that’s gone in the water or not she The good news is it’s not but the bad news is I don’t know where she’s going to stand yeah you could just see it she’s doing her best to keep the club face open square but she couldn’t she just couldn’t it was so thick well she could she could putt it that wouldn’t be so difficult okay well they’re still in the thick of things garvey hoping to finish things this for the round of the week this is for a 60 oh she’s not hit it for around a 65 it will equal the best round of the week a 66 and after picking up her first top 10 of the season last week in Tenneref she has set the pace she has set the clubhouse target at nine underpart cousin Jamie going in for the hug brilliant effort probably won’t be enough though Mickey I would think no she’s disappointed with us oh gosh play it left-handed i think that is her only choice to be honest she either takes a penalty drop or she plays it left-handed now I don’t know i mean we growing up we practiced left-handed shots just for the hell of it really but I don’t know how many players do these days it It wouldn’t be that difficult if you were used to playing a few little left-handed shots but this is going to be fascinating to see what she decides i have a question are you allowed to play with the other side of the P yes choice club here she can try to play like this with this side of the P okay she’s made such a positive start to this back n just left it in such a horrible position quickly just got to try and get out of here with a bogey absolutely i don’t know what that um is that an electrical wire of some sort I think that could be moved that’s not a problem i’d certainly want it to be moved careful make sure you keep your balance if you play it that way well there could be all sorts of outcomes here and one of them being that goes in the water herself looks like that’s what she feels most comfortable with yes yeah yes I think her caddy was encouraging her to use the back of the putter but I don’t think she was at all happy with it we’re allowed to uh do swing practice in the zone and do anything right yeah nice to be here it took a little bit of working out but she got there in the end as she is on the putting surface in three estasian do and that was a lucky breaker ball not going in the water sarah Burn on the charge with a share a sixth now but in the green side bunker she was very lucky to have got where she did with that T-shot although I’m not sure what she was doing over there in the first place no that was um very strange that’s a short par four only 300 y lovely put yeah but again woe is me here’s the look well you’re frustrated because you’ve left it short but to be honest if you had a putter that length and you two putt it you’re doing okay yeah and she’s just got to stick in there i mean she is only four shots off the lead there’s still a lot of golf to be played here she is not completely out of it obviously it depends what the leaders do like Darcy Harry we’ve just seen from Nau how things can I mean could have unraveled she I mean she got away with it really but she hasn’t puted yet Richard yeah but no birdies yet today from Brashant Lauren Walsh that was chipping up at 13 the path five so she’s there in three got that for birdie here is the leader and we know that this is a very fast path down the slope you see it gathering pace and it goes breaks both ways that broke to the right broke back to the left it’s not stone dead yeah yakob Hakadi it’s his week off last week finished top 20 at the KM Open he’s just outside the top 50 on the race to Dubai rankings on the DP World Tour he’s playing his rookie season ah catching up today for the first time with Pier Babnik one of your favorites Mickey yeah she was in the uh Oh look at that for a shot look at that incredible she was in the uh junior ping junior Soulheim Cup team that I captained at Glenn Eagles in two 2019 we’ve stayed in constant contact ever since but she’s a huge talent already won twice on the tour well Nau has given herself a par putt which didn’t always look to be the case the grind will continue well this is testing her attitude no birdies yet on the back nine for Jinny Ding mention about Jakob having the week off she’s got the week off next week Jinny Ding and she’s going to be moving out of her flat in in the US before heading back to play in Germany well done made to look easy by Lauren Walsh so she’s up to nine under that’s within two of the lead she loves a Sunday move lauren Wolf saw that last year in Switzerland and the uh the Ramco event in London it’s interesting looking at the parts this looked to be closer to me than Nau’s part but obviously not darcy one of those players that puts a line around the center of the ball to help her line it up so on she she lines takes great care to line it up where she wants to hit it and then trusts it nicely done very solid good two that tricky first one it didn’t look like the spot to come from to make a birdie three but Babnick’s managed it she goes up and down with the emotions doesn’t she yeah she certainly does she wears her heart on her sleeve when she’s playing golf here we go is Is she asking what time it is now she’s trying to work out the aim point here it is very much a team effort isn’t it between Guam and the Stazzia over these putts this is one of those awkward parts because obviously the amount of break depends on how firmly you hit it what does costa cost her those birdies she had at 10 and 11 have just been wiped away with a double bogey at 12 so she slips back to eight under par which is only good enough for fifth place now and it means it’s a twoshot lead for Darcy Harry again sarah Burn you saw her in the bunker mickey good shot to Oh furious with herself absolutely furious the problem was the T-shot really i mean I don’t know what she was doing over there but it has spought what’s been a brilliant back nine from the Irish woman so one Irish woman takes a step back in burn but remember another one in Lauren Walsh is very much taken a step forward she is now within two of the lead alongside Helen Bream and Amelia Garvey that double bogey from Nastasia has her now back in fifth place at eight under par which all means Darcy Harry is back in front at two at this hood and court women’s open as it stands emma Spitz is heading for a sixth top 10 of the season she is three under for the day a Gatso finished with a 68 this would be par five 13th Shannon Tan very nicely played every chance of making a birdie she’s one over for her round to this point the one left you see the tree left just left yes there’s a tree no it’s not on that one there’s this blue one in the middle and then all the way in the back there’s a bushy one yeah right into that slightly off the right mainly look to be lying okay you know there’s a look at the 13th which has been moved up today this hole today playing 461 actual yardage the full length is 522 this is short and by some 60 odd yards a long hitter certainly able to reach this in two just hanging on to the left side of the fairway that’s a good T- shot by Darcy Harry yeah going to be very much in reach now remember the T is up today so only playing 461 yards yesterday moved up the 15th today it’s the the turn of 13 had a couple of sixes in the last four holes surrounded by three birdies extraordinary scorecard only one par in the last seven holes another one down the left side this time it’ll be okay here is one of the contenders just dug its heels in didn’t it it just needed to run out a bit bring him in the bunker at this par five i was a bit critical of her yesterday about her bunker shots not making a long enough back swing but she’d made a much better swing at that one maybe she was listening to you Mickey picked up a lesson it’s a great history around this area goes back uh whole millennium there is various things that have happened in and around where this golf course is wow that’s a way to do it and I have to say having watched a bit of her this week I’m very impressed with her she looks to be a fine prospect doing well already struggles for Kelsey Bennett at 13 and going to be a bogey at best for the Australian just the one birdie today that’ll be a third bogey on the card and all the high hopes disappearing there can only be one winner so many players started the day with a chance i mean really 20 odd players probably felt they had an opportunity today helen Bream probably would have started the favorite even though she wasn’t leading got this to get back within one having watched all week the golf I just can’t say enough how difficult these greens are they’re just so subtle i mean that just had maybe one inch of movement from left to right and Helen didn’t allow for it and she misses the putt i mean it’s it’s just incredible how many putts of that length we’ve seen missed which is very unusual well she was steaming sarah Burn coming off the uh 15th green that’s a difficulty with those back pins if you’re just slightly aggressive now you’re really going to struggle because there’s no green at all to work with there’s some emotions running high at Hulen Court right now burn is burning time gets the seven under yeah lovely look from our drone down at this 13th hole final three ball in position and when you stand on the tea those bunkers look very close together but they’re not really ideal shot edge of the first one let it drift into the middle of the fairway just an iron for a second just not quite enough club it is the breezes probably it’s been all week and uh these windy conditions have at times fooled the players okay this is certainly playing one of the easiest holes on the course there has been an eagle here today that came from Eleanor Sudoro another one from Kylie Henry lots of birdies as well it’s one you really feel like you should make four on little bit unlucky should be a fairly straightforward bunker shop from there well that was good wasn’t it yeah perfect distance yeah eagle range for Darcy Harry seems an obvious thing to say is she’s top of the leaderboard but she has looked the most solid of the front runners warren Mo has probably looked the most solid of the chasers well we saw that incredible birdie on the previous hole well done backto- back birdies for the Slovenian player yeah her birdies seem always to come in a bunch don’t they lauren Walsh bey tidying up here at 14 oh wouldn’t you know it out of nowhere first drop shot of the day and that is really going to harm her chances genie ding i was going to say should be a formality but after watching that Walsh but okay no problems well Tiffany Chan did play on tour last year but Jenny the first player from Hong Kong that has her full ladies European tour card and Aston Stad heading for her third top 10 of her rookie season but it’s a rookie on top not this one Anthony Pashant but the other one who’s about to mark a ball on the green in Darcy Harry after that fabulous second shot in And that just adds to the pressure of what Nadau and Brashant face here knowing the leader is in such a good position yes it’s very much so i mean you you’re concentrating on your own game but you can’t help but be aware of the person you’re playing with and the fact that they’re ahead at the top of the leaderboard just got to concentrate on your own game i mean I know it’s you know it’s a cliche but it’s absolutely true you’ve only got to concentrate on your job on what you’re doing well it’s just not quite happening is it when Avani I mean that this is a real birdie opportunity and that was okay but it wasn’t great s bird oh no what’s she going to do now explode internally com combusting yeah it I mean so we are seeing today that some of these players are rookies aren’t we in a way so so much talent but it’s about how to use that talent play by a do I think the other thing Richard you know we’ve all got natural personality and I think we we have a tendency to fight our personality some players are naturally more exuberant some are calmer some are naturally get mad at themselves but you’ve got to temper that you’ve got to learn to deal with it well sis please stop oh stop stop stop but I think maybe she’s cost herself a shot or two here from the emotions that have come out from what obviously was a mistake off the tea at 15 after such a brilliant she’s shown what she’s all about with the way she’s just gone birdie after birdie on that that back n absolutely absolutely and and once you hit one bad shot you’ve got to try and let it go but that’s the hard thing as if it never happened but you know it’s because now you’re out of position and it’s it’s how you cope after that everybody’s going to hit poor shots even we’ve seen Darcy hit the occasional less than um stellar shot but she’s handled everything the same way but it’s easy when it’s it’s going for you well this really would be a a moment if she could hold this it’s a huge eagle and Darcy Harry’s just put one hand on the trophy four shots in front that is huge well that’s a way to come back from a very slight error that she made on the 12 i mean absolutely brilliant what a putt that was there was a lot of swinging in it too well at least it’s going to be a first of the day for Avani Prashant but it’s not going to make any inroads on the lead given what Darcy Harry’s just done burn for the bogey well well done she gathered her emotions before she hit that she won’t won’t be any consolation for her walking off there with a bogey well the day must be feeling now i mean half an hour ago she was just one back she’s got to hold this within four become mustate territory hasn’t it really i think you could say that for all of the chasing pack now well done very well done though that was class well she moves back into a share of second place but there is some gap now between the chasers harry at 13 under park adam Bream won’t be aware of that well another Irish woman compounding errors three put the last in amongst the trees at 15 well we know what she had for dinner last night darcy Harry it was pasta bolognese and you might think well have I been spying on her now she told us yesterday she’s been going to the same Italian restaurant every night and been eating the same meal pasta bolognese it’s working might not seem the uh most fine of methods but it’s working bolognese in Belgium who knew that would be the route to victory well it’s not done yet but it is looking good after that wonderful eagle at 13 for Darcy Harry she leads by four at 13 under did you ever have superstitions like that Mickey you’d eat the same restaurant same meal every night absolutely yeah I did and sometimes it worked and if it didn’t I ditched it breen for her birdie at fog team just the one birdie on the card only three birdies all weekend for B what was the uh the food of choice then Mickey oh I can’t remember now i remember I remember one my partner and I going to the same restaurant every night a year i won the Sunningdale Forsomes that was you know that was quite special because it’s a a special place Sunningale but uh yeah no and routines as well routines are the other thing yeah laura Walsh suddenly five behind now oh dear oh dear oh dear oh dear two Irish women same kind of fate really different reactions laurens’s a little calmer in demeanor it’s that horrible term isn’t it steal your go so try again shot four at this par four 294 yds but it has posed its questions at times well played well played indeed well I when I saw the pin sheet today and I was out on the course and looking at some of the pins I thought there’s some very tricky pins today and this is one of them you’re making a basically a a 300 yard hole which should be a birdie opportunity really quite tricky when you’ve got a bunker in front but you expect that you expect that on the uh final day yeah and we have seen a 66 from Amelia Garvey and Darcy Harry we probably have it but could another remains tied second remains really without anything happening it’s been the way all weekend i mean you’d never believed at halfway when she was at 8 under par that she go what the next 30 odd holes with just three birdies no you wouldn’t think it was possible a player with her power her ability but uh just shows you it’s it’s fine margins at every single level and you might have an advantage in some respects but doesn’t always work out that it helps you well she will be happy that she has just got off the mark in terms of her birdies here abony Pashant darcy Harry down the right side there there she is bull sitting okay but uh she’s quite a long way back here just under 410 yd long as we’ve seen 23 yds back just six in from the left hand side so she’s coming from the right direction for the pin which is over on the left approaching the white makes you feel like I’m getting a fly like this okay that grip one it’s another excellent shot very rarely looked in trouble has she no I I think she’s got a lovely rhythm to her swing and that hasn’t altered sometimes that changes when you’re under pressure but we haven’t seen it vary at all today and you you do feel that Avani is calming down now she obviously looked under pressure at the beginning and started with those backto- back bogeies nerves Mickey really yeah very much so very much so being first time she’s been in this situation where she’s gone out with the lead in the final group and she’ll learn a lot from this experience well done Carana they got off to a sticky start to the round but she’s got it back to level pile for the day now it’s uh back inside the top 10 more evidence of the pins being in tougher positions just often not many yards from the edge of the green and that you’ve got to play to the heart of the green just as um just as Darcy Harry did with that shot you can see how far right she is of the pin but that’s where you want to be you want to be in the heart of the green don’t attack these pins unless it’s essential and you might give you the opportunity to catch the leader but if you’re in the lead by four shots go for the heart of the greens it’s right at it by Nado just coming up a bit short just an iron off the tea for Helen Broom not having a dig at this one 294 yds this short path force play difficult to tell from that camera angle but may have missed the fairway with the iron w up on the green made a bit of a mess of things ends up with backto- back bogeies so she’s seven under now six behind another week up there another bit of experience last week she led at halfway in Tenneref first time the ladies European tour has been here at Huden Court historic site 16 we haven’t seen many players in that really thick stuff and you can see how well that hardly moved she swung with all her might and she could hardly move it well the next isn’t going to be too pretty either yeah she came she hit that B there’s a bunker in the middle of the fairway i think she found that off the tea put a second in there now played three troubles that you can be in but it’s not something that’s really afflicted the leader Darcy Harry here she is green in regulation at this 14th hole tristan the ladies European tour cameraman can’t be bad lying down on the job mickey he takes good pictures i know that it is a team and uh I don’t know on the midfield in that bag as well you can hear Jakob telling exactly where he thinks is she’s going to miss him isn’t she and you know he can’t be cadding every week he’s got a DP World Tour card to play for he wants to be at Dubai at the end of the year but uh they’ve been a great team and he’s been a terrific calming influence and he very much has helped her with these putts we saw at the last screen how well that worked out with the eagle has he got it right this time i think he has you know I think he has that is incredible well done Darcy Harry incredible that’s a way to make sure you stamp your authority on the tournament eagle Birdie will do it in the hurry but look at that back nine five under for the five holes she’s played on the back nine that is dream golf well that will deflate the chasing pack including Avani Brashant we can only manage part well I just think we’ve seen the winning moments you never say never but I think we have seen the crowning moments for Darcy Harry there is still golf to be played i mean in Genie Ting is showing us that what could happen or can happen fifth shot now that was an excellent shot wasn’t it i mean that that is brutal if you get into that thick thick rough so you never say never but I mean she’s five shots clear now Darcy Harry and she’s only got four holes left to play i mean NO could get herself here to 10 under and close the gap again to four there’s confirmation of how it stands right now yes you’ve got you’ve got Nau and you’ve got Helen Bream on the course who could catch the leader but they’ve got to do something to catch her because she’s playing just incredible golf everybody else is finished well wouldn’t you know it i mean she was probably had about a quarter of the length of the puck that Darcy Harry had harry holes she misses and the gap widens a little more whereas you know stepping onto the green she’s probably thinking I can close the gap here well I don’t I don’t think I know her pursuers have had their ups and downs but the way Darcy has played especially on this back nine i mean that’s just unbelievable stuff that’s stuff you dream about look at this and it’s all very well Jakob telling her where to aim it you’ve still got to produce it and you’ve got to hit it at absolutely the right speed which was perfection absolute perfection i mean she’ll come off this if she does go on to win she’ll come off this final round and she she’ll think did I dream that it was just the most perfect golf it’s not her first time in the final round on the final day new South Wales Open she performed really well there she played very well in Australia in fact all week but it was at the Australian Women’s Classic that probably has put her in goodstead for today you know you felt that before she finished sixth in Australia but you kind of we’re seeing this from Avani Pashamp today she’ll learn from today and be able to take that into future weeks absolutely i mean it’s very seldom that somebody gets in the the position that Avani has or Harry and they convert it into victory on the first occasion you usually you sometimes I mean I can remember I I’m sure somebody will correct me you might correct me but I would never do such a thing anakas stand she was runner up something like certainly four times before she won her first tournament and you know she’s the greatest player of my generation of the last 50 years arguably the greatest player in the modern women’s game and it took her a while to get her first victory well the key here avoid the bunkers for Darcy Harry who’s in dreamland right now another smooth looking swing sitting down that’ll do i said the main thing don’t go in the bunkers i do think whatever your rhythm is and and people say you know should I swing faster should I swing slow we swing to our natural rhythm a slow person will have a slow rhythm a quick person tends to have a quick rhythm and Darcy Harry has got a lovely rhythm which has been the same from her first T-shot to the last one that she’s just hit and everything in between and that is a real asset when you find your rhythm keep it no matter what the situation nau’s got a faster rhythm than Harry brisker both excellent swimming we got way too short well she just hasn’t made her fair share and there is another of those for Helen Bream it hurts even dad kind of is trying not to watch there expensive hole this for Jinny Ding triple bogey 7 she’s outside the top 10 now going back to Helen Bream i mean how many putts has she had that have just absolutely shaved the edge of the hole so tricky these greens Richard unless you’re Darcy Harry they look rather straightforward well she has one hand maybe a little bit more than that on the bronze owl statue of a trophy five birdies and an eagle in this final round she’s just gone 33 at the par 513th the par 414th and she is just blowing the field away what an afternoon it’s turning into for Darcy Harry 69 for Emma Spitz in the end which should be good enough for a sixth top 10 finish for the season lauren Walsh’s third shot on the 16th well it promised so much this round for Lauren Walsh just come undone in the last few holes final group the right hand side of the 15th like so many of Greens here you cannot see the bottom of the pin she’s got her game back now got off to a quite horrible start but she’s uh back in control now looking calm getting the distance right the contact drive yeah I think you got to be that is sitting down a bit Harry’s ball honestly like four yards left yeah I do think especially if I put Yeah I agree you see like a yard yeah just gone into that second cut hasn’t it of rough wonderful i mean we’re running out of superlatives what a shot again just one of those days where she can hardly put her foot wrong the thing is at this stage she’s basically got to avoid any disasters hasn’t she i don’t think she’s worried about that i think she’s in the zone absolutely she is i mean she could stand there all day and not hit a better shot than that and she’s just played five holes absolutely superbly and she keeps doing it there’s uh a look at where that flag is just saw it here the greens are fairly deep fairly long very much at the front portion today there’s a little ant on the ball there it’s just about to go for a fly that looked good too well how about that for a couple of shots that’s what you should be doing when you got a pitching wedge in your hands and she’s come back well hasn’t she after that double after Well I mean there are so many things up for grabs this afternoon i mentioned about Darcy Harry looking like she’s just about to play her way into two majors this Nstasia Nadau one of her dreams is to play Evian Championship she you know second place would go a long way gainer will be playing there and at the AIG Women’s Open last hole for Arian Clots this for around a 70 very good i actually think that might have been for par for Arian so I think it may be a 71 well done that was also for par stops the bogey trout it looks rather ordinary for second on this hole now doesn’t it she’s got the toughest putt coming slightly downhill and out of the fringe as she hit it just bobbled when it came out of that rough oh this will make her feel better if she can roll this one in every miss hurts thank you so nice playing with you thank you thank you very much yeah well done well done thank you well done thank you thank you it is still one of her best uh weeks Mickey of the year five under par just outside the top 10 as it stands the best Belgian player on the tour mann do Roy not here this week she’s been playing in the US made the cut there a lot of Europeans in the mix at that event state side to Saganda and Madlin Saxrom Lana Madson all in a share of the lead but there’s no doubt who’s in front here and Nado knows she has to try and make this birdie just to keep a pace but this would take her out of the three-way tie for second i think she’s been very impressive how she came back from that double on 12 she didn’t fall apart her demeanor has been has been constant throughout very impressed with the way she’s conducted herself and the golf that she’s played this week and you look at that scorecard as well it’s hard to believe the other day was it Friday she had birdied the first and then had 17 straight pars so they she can’t really find a part that was a good up and down by Gaina and she did really well considering she quite clearly she’s been struggling with that wrist and two weeks off now let’s hope she gets it back so it’s not troubling her gulen this afternoon has belonged to Darcy Harry this to get back five shots in the lead again not to be this time so the lead is four three holes to play they uh the approach deserved a little bit better well her best finish on the ladies European tour came as an amateur came on home sword at the DLF Golf and Country Club where she finished fifth at the 2023 Indian Open that’s something for Vani to aim for over the closing holes did she catch the uh say I didn’t know whether she catched the lip caught the lip at all but no she turned no I think I think it was the sand that turned the club face over well I think that’s um as emotional as we’ve seen her get she was really cross with that well she spoke yesterday about the problem being the wedges yesterday looks like it’s been more of the same for Helen Bream today good shot by car gainer yeah could have gone back to the top of the ladies European tour rankings with a win but at the moment the destiny of the title looks to be only heading one way not something that Stazzy Adau will be thinking though well strange things have happened i mean Darcy’s shot in there we almost gave her that P didn’t we and she missed it because she she quit on it she de accelerated as she hit it she didn’t make her usual stroke where she followed through um so it was in her mind the importance of it but I’m sure she she did that she did that yesterday on one cut um I can’t remember maybe the 10th hole but we haven’t seen that i I don’t think she’s got to concern herself with anything yet well G I’m just saying for her to wait i think someone’s just moving up on the fairway ahead it’s a bunker in the middle of the fairway but it won’t it won’t bother Nastasia 227 to reach it it’s well over Yeah right there into a little bit off the right but it’s quite dead right now move it a little bit yakob giving Darcy instructions before everything just telling her exactly where the wind is just a little bit into from the right little look of concern it’s down the right side can’t help but think about what happened last week in Tenneref when Sarah Kuska had a five shot lead with five holes to play and suddenly that all disappeared in a in a hurry not saying the same thing’s going to befall Darcy Hurry Harry uh in a hurry this afternoon but it does happen yes you think a four five shot lead is very comfortable but you hit a couple of shots or you miss a part as she did and suddenly if if any doubt gets into your head that’s when the trouble is well you could see that was absolutely straight as an arrow at the pin but you can also see that there’s quite a lot of wind behind and look at that wind blowing at the moment it’s very much gusting well this is the kind of golf course that you thought was going to suit Broom down to a tea last week she was really proud of finishing second in Tenneref on a golf course where she really couldn’t take driver out only could hit driver on three or four holes haven’t seen anything of Smelia Sonibu today that’s why we saw her there I suppose very nicely done three over par today at three under yeah we got to remember there’s only been one rookie winner on tour this season she has won three times mimi roads shannon one of the rookie winners last season on tour lovely part well done shannon Tank hasn’t had her best round of golf this afternoon but another good week generally first drop shot of the day makes a level path for the weekend she’s back to where she was Friday evening at 8 under when she was the one to catch fully half a dozen shots behind Darcy Harry now her chances are over she’s got it if she hits it a little bit off the rad a look at the 16 we were thinking her shot had gone to the right hadn’t realized it was in the bunker no and that was lucky that didn’t go another five yards further because that would have been in Jinny Ding territory and we all know what happened from there she was in that bunker and went left ended up making a triple bogey 7 lovely shot she’s really got a game back hasn’t she and she’s still got a very good chance of uh finishing second but certainly it’ll be her best ever finish on the leilia who’s gone through the emotions on the tour the last year but great to see her smiling again an amazing victory two years in Ireland he was nine shots back going into the final round and won that with an amazing final round you got to celebrate every birdie when they come well she’ll be thinking now the dough harry’s not in position A i can stick this one in close turn a bit of pressure on so close to being good you’ve got to have the courage to hit it to those back pins and a fraction out and suddenly instead of having a birdie putt you’re through the green we saw her go through the back of the green in this par 317th walsh chipped to here and puts it in stay seven under looking forward to the KPMG Women’s Irish Open in a few weeks she will be one of the players in demand there on a home course over at Carton House shannon Tan teed it up on home saw this year she got an invite to play the LPGA tour event in Singapore and he just finished outside the top 30 it was the best ever performance by a player from Singapore in that event the HSBC Women’s World Championship inspiring a new generation that’s for sure shannon Tan first from Singapore to win gin would love to be the first on the LT to win from Hong Kong it’s a shame about this finish because there’s been so much to admire about her golf this week and she’s done so many things well just making a little bit of a mess of it towards the end but she’s going to take away the positives yeah delightfully done so many super shots today i know at the end of the uh the round we put a highlights package together normally of the winner there’s a fair few to show from Darcy Harry today if we do that yeah she’ll remember this week for a long time celebrating her birthday her boyfriend on the bag yeah the rewards I will repeat them in a moment are huge for Harry should she see this through which is not yet a done deal decent one from Helenbury that’s 17 well they uh really work through these putts don’t they guam the caddy and Nastasian do the player i mean he steps all over a line he’s obviously got very soft shoes on and the greens offer she obviously has total belief and confidence in the information that he gives her which is uh good and you pop with conviction whoa nearly yeah but okay it’s just a par but remember Harry’s got a fairly lengthy par putt to come she chipped away at the lead on the last halt she may just chip away at again a little bit here or two oh how did that miss yeah I do see yeah I know family are watching back at home how fast was coming down her dad Pashant’s 52nd birthday yesterday a lovely present seeing his daughter go to the top of the leaderboard well done good way to finish your round after yeah that triple’s just cost her the top 10 but good week from Jinny Ding 73 in the end today thank you playing with Pier Babnik who uh has one over part well this to keep the lead at four for Darcy Harry no lead is big enough isn’t it you would you want as many shots as possible coming down 18 that was a good stroke but it is going to be a third bogey of the round so the lead is gone from five to three in the space of the last two holes i mean a three-sh shot lead with two holes to play i mean if you’ just given her that teeing off at number one I think she would have taken that and run absolutely but uh you know strange things have happened as you say that very nearly happened in Tenneref yeah to Sara Kuska who only just got it done last week well it’s been a while since we’ve had a Welsh winner on the Ladies European tour i have to go back to September 2020 and Amy Balden’s win in Switzerland here’s Darcy Harry about to break through in Belgium this is at 17 well you know you know what’s happening by how violently Shannon’s clicking her fingers trying to direct the ball and that one she knew she’d hit far too hard as soon as she struck it well it’s been great to be back in Belgium on the Ladies European tour uh there’s been a few gaps in the calendar over the years in terms of events in this country 1985 the first year the LE came here laura Davies winning over at Royal Waterloo just down the road from here don’t think she believes she can hold a part Helen Broom how would you rate her as a putter normally you’ve seen more of her than I have Richard yeah good a good putter i mean wouldn’t say naturally the ball striking is the standout part of a game but a good putter now I mean I wouldn’t call it a weakness but and I’ll come to this after Shannon Tam misses what I would say Mickey is this year hasn’t been as good as last year in fact last week was only the second week where she had positive stroke gains putting statistics i know I’ve at the risk of sounding like a st record I do think these greens are particularly tricky to read i’ve never seen so many short putts missed and not because people have made bad strokes but because they haven’t seen a break i mentioned Laura Davis winning in 1985 Royal at Waterloo you played in that one Mickey i didn’t play in that one no no I’d uh fairly I that was about the time I stopped playing okay so you you missed out yeah we mentioned you were Soheim Cup captain when Florence Deck the only Belgium played in the Soheim Cup she finished second in 1991 behind Karine Dibna from Australia closest that a Belgian’s come to winning this event oh this is horrible this is horrible to see this isn’t it well it is the putter she you know it is part of a game where she feels there can be some big improvements we know how good she is ter Green she’s the best Ter Green on tour one minute you’re patting for birdie the next you you’re walking off with a drop shot or two what a double bogey from nowhere for Shannon Tan that takes her out of the the top 10 not really what the leader Darcy Harry probably wants to watch from back on the tea back down there a few days ago was Mickey Walker to have a little look here we are on the 17th the last of the par threes here at Huland Court and the shortest but the shortest doesn’t mean the easiest at 152 yards if the pins cut on the right you don’t have to flirt with the bunker on the left but if the pin is positioned over the bunker you have to hit your shot another 20 yards or so and be sure to get the club right to make sure you clear that bunker this is a very tricky hole under any circumstances but when it might be the second last hole of a championship and you’re trying to win it it’s going to be even harder yeah and Darcy Harry is bound to be feeling the nerves right now this is when it starts to hit you that you know you’re so close to getting the job done and this is a really important T-shot out of her hands from Nastasia Nadau who has got to go flag hunting given the the situation right now i think there’s no reason why she wouldn’t i mean her her golf today has been terrific apart from you know the problem she had on the on the 12 she really has played good golf today no it’s no longer you can see nine iron choice of club 143 y oh it’s a wonderful shot and that really does pile the pressure on Darcy Harry very impressive aim okay safely on board birdie looked to come for Pashant is that that grip one just in between she likes it and so she should that’s a lovely iron shot yeah that is some response that is the response of a champion right there that was calmness personified from Darcy Harry there might be some anger behind this one from Helen Bream that has nestled down not that it will stop her getting to the green but uh up on the green just beyond it is carain up to just close the gap a little bit on Mimi Roads at the top nicely played now of course there’s a lot of players in the top 20 on the rankings who are in the mix here including Gainer who started the week third on the order of merit lauren Walsh another player who was just outside the top 10 of the rankings nau started the week in 19th place but if Nadau can finish second I make it she could well jump into the top 10 of the rankings and uh potentially get into one of those spots that’s available with one event left for Evian lauren Walsh very close to that target as well she started the week 12th on the order of merit the uh the mark coming into the week was Emma Spitz in ninth place so every shot counts particularly this one from Walsh at the moment she’s sixth on her own but this would take her into a share of fourth place it’s going to be a good tournament regardless and she came back well after that blip but she came back well after uh being three over par after eight holes this week i like the day itself coming up short there at 17 for Avani Pashant she’s just going to finish off remember it’s only her 20th ladies European Tour event just her 10th as a professional being a pro year well she’s got nothing to to be ashamed of she’s currently tied in fourth place she could somehow manage to bird last she might potentially move up to third place certainly it’s her best tournament and she’s shown so much good golf this week really a talent that is going to just get better as she gets more experience well she’s already posted five birdies and an eagle has been a scintillating final round her five shot lead though is being cut to three and she knows her closest pursuer is in closer it’s unusual to see that putting grip these days it’s uh you know it’s it’s quite an old-fashioned it’s a a basic putting grip you see so many strange and weird and wonderful putting grips the right forefinger down the grip but it’s no birdie she remains 13 under car been struggling a little bit with the wrist injury you can see it’s strapped up there on her right she’s been suffering with that since South Africa going to take the next couple of weeks off before teeing it up at the Irish Open and then the Evian Championship big events to come well this to close the gap a little more no birdie from Harry five shot lead for Darcy Harry after 14 holes but Nado Birded 15 Harry bogeied 16 and this for Birdie to reduce that gap to two that makes life a lot easier for the Welsh player and also Richard she needs to stay at 10 under par to finish in second that’s gone a long distance past we’ve seen what Shannon Tan’s done on the screen just had a four putt not we hope anything like that befalls Nadau yeah second place would get her inside that top 10 of the rankings closer to her dream of playing in Evian she’s from Shambbury which is about an hour and a half from Evian in the Alps it was very well done no signs of feeling any pressure another really good week for Lauren Walsh closing round of 71 for the Irish woman who keeps knocking on the door for that first ladies European tour win what a position for Darcy Harry the 22-year-old from Cardiff in Wales will take a threeshot lead down the 18th hole it’s a an advantage that she could only have dreamed of earlier today in position to strike at this Hoolen Court Women’s Open had a brief second on its way to 18 at the moment in her share of fourth place she started the week seventh in the order of merit there’s going to be a bit of I mean don’t ask me to try and work it out right now but there’s going to be a bit of working out to do everyone’s coming just feel that miss pilot the last has given herself too much to do really here got to avoid that bunker in the middle of the fairway only 18 yds wide the fairway here at 18 problems there it’s flying okay semi- rough well she would have had such high hopes coming into this Sunday avani Pashant just hasn’t worked out for her right from the get-go bogey those first two holes in the bunker you see that guy put it at him and then the wind will just take it you shouldn’t carry ply too funny yeah you can you can hit the final hole for the leader the champion elect beauty really good well Jacob called it a beauty that’s what you want no it’s just ran into the first but it should be been there better than yesterday isn’t it way better than yesterday dreams are about to be realized in the Harry C well she has been a pleasure to watch this week and she’ll have uh gained a lot more fans through this performance both watching at home and here in person or who have met her this week as we watch Helen Bream that’s a lovely chip what a great chip wouldn’t that have been ironic if that had gone in she hasn’t been able to buy a putt all day and very nearly hold the last shot from off the green but it’s going to be another excellent week let that that come on that’s the way you you know it deserved a hug i mean she hasn’t had the day she hasn’t had the weekend she or any of us really expected but it is going to be another top five finish and it pretty much cements her position in terms of teeing it up in her first major next month at Evian so a lot to be pleased about for Helen Bream even though she’s probably not thinking about that right now no and having watched her this week I mean she is so impressive the way she strikes the ball and her power and her potential i mean she’s she’s 19 and she’s achieved so much already and you think that it can only the accolades and the results can only keep getting better but it’s all about this young lady what a weekend it’s turning out to be for Darcy Harry well after the four putt at 17 Shannon Tan now at 18 well last night like last Sunday in Tenneref it’s not been the final round she’d been looking for it does seem that the culprit to her not achieving even more than she has done is just how she performs on the greens and there were such high hopes for Kelsey Bennett through the first few days at the moment in a tie for 10th at five under par and this is uh only for a par at this par four what a nice way to end the week even though it again hasn’t panned out how she hoped it’s going to be another top 10 though fourth of the season in her 25 campaign another good tournament for Shannon Tang she’ll be disappointed those four pucks costing her dearly thank you for your help today appreciate it yeah so that leaves the green clear for the final three ball from the sand you could hear the contact there it was heavy she hit the sand before the ball so lost the distance that she required one more good swing required for Darcy Harry she’s had trouble at this hole this week but that is just what she was looking for last two days she’s gone left of the green here made a great up and down yesterday for P made a bogey here on Friday well she’d settle for that that’s all she had to do really she could have three putts from there she could have four putts from there and she’s still going to win unless of course Estasia Nado holds this but uh that’s asking a lot it has been done but uh not very often someone No picture yeah just the double bogey really at 12 just gave her too much to do over this stretch won’t hang off it’s fine though yeah says quite a bit at stake she needs to get down into from there to keep her second place but we know who the center of attention is birthday girl yesterday and champion today darcy Harry she will not forget this Hulen court women’s open in a hurry only turned pro at the start of the year after finishing second at qualifying school they have been a great team as well i know I’ve mentioned it a few times but I’m sure a few of you just tuning in Jakob Scovalison there on the bag a rookie himself on the DP World Tour and having an excellent season but he has helped Darcy Harry to be in the position she is in right now no although she’s going to be disappointed I’ve got no doubt about her performance today we’re going to see so much more of Avani good pitch there a chance to save her par but she’s got a lot of positives to reflect on after this day being in the final group leading when she started out as you say it’s all about Darcy Harry and the performance she’s put in especially on this back nine it’s been absolutely outstanding three birdies on the front nine two birdies and an eagle couple of drop shots on this back nine as well but she given herself enough of a cushion five shot lead at one stage and in beautiful sunshine in the Belgian countryside job is almost complete must be a lovely feeling being here knowing that uh in a few moments time she’ll be a winner for the first time as a professional on the ladies European tour and being from Cardiff being from Wales with the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Por not far from her home city the extra reward for this breakthrough win will be a trip to that major at the start of August and maybe the addition of teeing it up next month at Evian as well might make it she’s either going to go to sixth or seventh on the ladies European tour rankings as well which will be huge in itself i wonder if Yakob will miss a few weeks on the DP World Tour to caddy a major for her i think she’s going to take the honor here and put first even though she’s on the green and Nau is off it as you mentioned Nikki she’s she can afford to three putt this not that she wants to you want to have to hold don’t you i mean that is stone dead she’ll mark it now yeah that smile tells you she knows the task has been done if not yet completed and as you say Mickey important this for Nastasia Nadau if she can hang on to second spot this will be a big jump into the top 10 of the order of merit for her as well very good cut well she’s only 20 but this is already her third season on tour and every year she’s been getting better 54th in the rankings in her rookie season 23rd last year and as I’ve said if she just pops that in she’ll be in the top 10 of the Order of Merit for the 2025 season well I know the G family have been gathered around the TV set mom dad sister grandparents uncle and everyone at Kataka Golf Club not been quite the day they hoped for but a lot still to be proud of for Avani Prashant and ends the day as she started it unfortunately with a drop shot takes her out of her share of fourth place into a tie for fifth 75 for her 71 for Nidau which leaves the stage clear for Darcy Harry you could say Harry in a hurry this is only her ninth le start and already she’s a champion that is some rookie performance well done well done congratulations very good thank you oh man she’ll be a very popular winner she really will and how deserve is this fantastic scenes amelia Garvey rushing in that they’d be sharing a house this week happy birthday thank you yeah some of the rookies some of her new friends on tour sharing in the celebrations there’s Jamie Tipper god that was nerve-wracking not and a hug and a kiss from the caddy come boyfriend Jakob Scovison who has played his part two but congratulations to Darcy Harry that was a well earned victory she is the champion at this Hood and Court Women’s Open proud of you and hasn’t she just tick some boxes with this win evianne that’s still not guaranteed but a Welsh woman will be teeing it up in a Welsh AIG Women’s Open that is a big deal it is a big deal it’s what everybody wants to do they want to play in majors in their native country i mean she’s qualified as as one of the best and uh how quickly has she done this i mean we we knew about her and how well she done as an amateur but she’s really taken the step into professional golf and and it suits her naturally she’s got a lovely personality she’s got a super goal swing and uh it it’s been wonderful watching her perform this week and she’s performed absolutely at her best and and stepped up a gear and to make this tournament hers been impressive yeah and in a way Mickey you know we look back but 13 and 14 was where she clinched it absolutely that was where the big swing happened and also it was aided by um Nadau having that double bogey not to take anything away from Darcy she won this tournament um and just that fantastic run from making the turn and what about that household that they were in this week darcy Harry first Amelia Garvey third apparently there was no air conditioning in and they were like struggling to sleep but it seemed to work well you feel a sense of togetherness when you’ve um you’ve overcome things and things aren’t absolutely as you like them but you get through them and you have fun together and it it’s brilliant you saw by the reaction from her friends who’d stayed on and and out to see it i saw Brianna Narosa there coming out with a champagne too that’s brilliant isn’t it i mean and I said some of her new friends but you do bond quickly don’t you when you’re away on tour yes and also some of these are they’re rookies together they came out here together they’re having success together and they’re sharing that success enjoying that success and it’s great to see and do you think the what Mimi Rhodess has done with those three wins has made them think well if she can we can 100% you know they will have played with her i mean Brianna was on the um American team when uh Mimi played in the Junior Solheim Cup team for Europe i mean they grew up together playing together um and you know now they’re competing together in the professional world but they feel a bond when they start out on their professional journey well the formalities have to be gone through darcy Harry has to make sure that she signs the right scorecard but uh it was really a wonderful performance she’s had some some highs i remember on was it Friday when she held that putt at 16 across the green yesterday she hold a big one which we did see across the green at 10 for an eagle and then today another big putt at 13 and and you mention how you know these these greens are tricky but when you’re holding those kind of putts it just builds the confidence she just looked like she was enjoying it i heard her say to one of the players there coming off i couldn’t quite pick up all of it because all the shouts bit how she was nervous you wouldn’t know it looking at her though no you wouldn’t i mean I think I think it was a big help for her to have Jakob on the back without any doubt i mean he’s he’s a a great player in his own right and he speaks with authority and he obviously cares a great deal about her and that really helped as well but um you know not to take anything away from her performance it was a performance of deserving champion this week and uh I’ve been mightily impressed with her golf swing the way she’s conducted herself and she’s gained a lot of fans and admirers from this victory and this visit to Belgium well the score card has been signed all that’s left to do now is get hold of the trophy very nice trophy it is as well which is designed by a British guy Anthony Thston the the bronze owl if you weren’t with us earlier I said that Hulen Court was originally known as Owl Court the the Val Ibu back in the 18th century this is a very historical site we are basically on the battleground that led to the the battle of Waterloo back in the 19th century and now our own little bit of history for Darcy Harry a first ladies European tour victory and I can probably guess that Yakob could have the job for life if he wanted it but he’s got his own majors to try and qualify played in the open last year as the amateur champion i’ve heard that trophy is very heavy well it’s made of bronze so yes it is but it’s h they get should get to keep a little miniature one as well which will look very nice on the mantel piece well she started the week as the fourth best ranked rookie on tour she’s now the second best thanks to that threeshot victory over Nastasia Nado yeah big week for Nau there’s going to be a big fight in that final event of this for the counting towards Evian next week at the Czech Ladies Open well it’s uh been a brilliant performance from Darcy Harry so many wonderful shots in this final round and we’re going to get ahead to hear her talk through it and get that trophy here she is with their gums very many congratulations you’re a ladies European tour champion what’s your initial reactions i don’t even know what to say right now i think it’s I’m so excited i don’t think I’d ever picture myself ever winning on the Ladies European tour so it’s so nice to I don’t know finally done it which is nice you looked so comfortable out there obviously there was an early bogey but after that you really just seemed to concentrate and kick on you seemed almost nerveless no I had loads of n i think the last one was probably the most nervous I’ve ever been in my life even though it was really small but no it was like I started off with a bogey but there’s lots of birdies out there because the condition of the course is so good so if you’re hitting good shots you get rewarded and I hit again a few good parts i had eagle can’t remember what hole I had eagle on but it’s on half five and after that then I had another long putt go in so if you get in the right lines on the greens in the right pace they just drop in so it’s nice that’s it because around the turn the lead kept on swapping but actually it was 13 that you you got your eagle then 14 you followed up with another birdie it was a big turning point did you realize at that stage that you know you you turned the tournament in your favor and it was all about seeing it home from there yeah definitely i think I came out today to try and get a good score cuz everyone’s capable of having a really good score here so I kind of wanted to prove to myself I could continue with another good score on the course so I was kind of playing against me and the course today not really thinking about the lead and I think that really helped me today and it was also helped you I would assume is your caddy on the bag boyfriend as well he was helping you on the greens you seem to be a great partnership yeah he was very good so he’s not going to be allowed to go back to playing now he’s going to have to caddyy every week he is actually carrying next week so looking forward to that again this victory also gets you into the the women’s British Open in Wales it must be very special for you to do that especially you know in your home country i think that’s kind of walking down the 18th the only thing I kind of thought cuz I was thinking about oh how can I qualify i was you know pretty nervous about not getting into it so I think that’s probably the biggest reward for me winning this week and I’m assuming that week and next week spaghetti bolognese for dinner every night yes 100% very very many congratulations time to get your hands on the first trophy thank you congratulations thank you Elam Cantry the CEO of Sienko handing over the trophy to Darcy Harry the champion at the 2025 Huland Court Women’s Open well let’s look back at the day she’d already had one bogey one birdie to this point Mickey for eighth no doubt where that one was going and then off to the par five ninth saw a chip down to here lovely chip shot and rolled in the p to get to the turn in 34 and at this stage she’s got herself either in a share of the lead or or very close to the leaders then popped this one in 10 this did get it into a share of the lead well and these are going dead center we didn’t see many people do that on the putting green dropped a shot at 11 nado then double bogey 12 and this was a huge moment absolutely massive it’s interesting her saying giving praise to the greens and saying you know if you hit them online they went in and that’s what she did and she was just stretching a lead it went from four shots to five shots with this at 14 we couldn’t believe this one went in this was the longest of them all i mean right dead center again and I mean it is just fabulous putting by the Welsh woman dropped a shot at 16 but she had a three shot lead to take down the last talked about how nervous she was on this 18th green that’s a beautiful judgment of pace though and what a lovely cut to leave yourself to win your first tournament no stress no worries just a matter of a foot or so and how richly deserved i mean a great performance on the final day and as she said there not just going to be able to now tee it up at the AIG Women’s in Wales on a home course as well at Royal P she’s very much going to be in the spotlight there isn’t she particularly from the the British media she certainly will and she deserves to be confirmation a threeshot victory for Darcy Harry and for Nastasia Nadau who grew up an hour and a half from Evian within touching distance now of teing it up at that major yeah she’s going to have that that’s going to be her goal that’s the one that she wants to tear it up and I’m sure she’ll probably make it been very impressed with her golf this week well Mickey been great to have you uh by my side here this week it was a wonderful first visit to Hulen one I’m sure Darcy Harry will never forget she finishes the week as champion from all of us here bye-bye heat heat
