hi So welcome to Ning Town Cheers Um firstly can you tell us a bit about yourself and what position you play and what you can bring to the team Uh a little bit about myself Uh I’m 25 Um I’ve had experience past past experience playing for Rush uh Bedworth and most recently Boston Um positions I play predominantly I play in the 10 center attacking mid Um but I can also play down the wing Um I’m quite versatile like that Um yeah you mentioned you played for Russell in Bedworth previously Have you played anywhere else And um what what brought you to Den Town Uh no to be fair those are my main stints in non league Um when I was at Rush we lost a couple of seasons um due to co um and when all the restrictions got lifted um I I went over to Bedworth for about a season just over a season Um and then um I’ve spent probably the last three seasons at Billston Um and I’ve got I’ve enjoyed it quite a lot But I think seeing none last season um and just the vibe around the club um the way the players kind of looked after each other um and just the energies the the fans brought to when we played you both times Um it was quite um admirable Um and yeah I’d say that’s what that’s what that’s brought me And uh you obviously played against us last season for Billston obviously scoring against us as well Um what do you make of the club in terms of the fan base you mentioned that the the fan base are you know a big reason why why you came here and and obviously the players will be playing alongside as well Um I think to be fair from from what I seen during the two games we played against each other Um the atmosphere was quite good Um I liked how the fans kind of got behind their own players Um giving them that support Um and from what I remember like there was a camaraderie between the non players and it was quite like again admirable Um a lot of talent a lot of quality um both technically physically and they just seem like they work as one as like a unit So it seems like the changing room might be quite a quite a solid like foundation and they seem like they get along quite well Um which is also something that kind of attracted me as well because that’s something you kind of want in football to be to have that support from your own players Um and yeah the fan base like I said the they’re like the 12 man They they can give you they can they can pull that extra 10 15% out of a player just from their support and just from being loud So um when you’ve got that behind you it’s it’s it’s a green It’s a positive You’ve you’ve worked with Birmingham City in their community projects in the past Are you able to tell us any more about what your experiences you went through with that Uh yeah when I was at uni I did um sports coaching Um and obviously with that come a lot of like community work um like working in different schools and things like that Um doing like half-term camps football camps Um honestly I did it for about a year Um so that’s what I’m qualified in And um I’ve got a passion for working with children and young people So I’ve been doing it for about 3 years now Um most recently I’ve been working in the children’s home So um even though I’m not in the sports industry anymore I’m still working with kids and like you know helping them kind of navigate life I guess Yeah Yeah What What are your sort of aims for this season Personally um I’m really looking forward to this season actually I think the closer it gets the more I’m actually looking forward to it Um I just want to have a season where I’m I stay injuryfree Um I think over the last couple of seasons I’ve been injured a couple of times but I want to really put my head down put some goal put some goals up put some numbers up Um and yeah just enjoy myself really I think that’s the key to football I think you play your best football when you’re enjoying yourself And I think this is a club that I can do that Okay Yeah Thanks again and welcome to town Thanks mate Appreciate it
