if you’re swinging too far on the inside rolling of the wrist like this seeing the hands and the club working too close to us like this here the likelihood is we’re going to revert back over from here we’re not going to go this way because you can’t physically hit the golf ball from that you’re going to go this way then eventually once we get into this position here Club reaches parallel to ground we get a little bit stuck from this position here just fold this right arm upwards and as you start to just do a couple of reps just using your one hand like this here getting used to this you’ll start to develop a feel that the hand the arm and Club are just going straight up they’re not going round they’re just going straight up and you can start to add a little bit of rotation into this as you set the club here with both hands on the club Fold It upwards like so and that sets us in a much better top of the back swing position to be able to give ourselves room to bring the club back down on plane

  1. Harry, another great bit of advice that is easy to follow.
Can you do a vid concentrating on the hip movement. I've just found out that my backswing is OK but I stay too flat in the downswing nd struggle to get hips out of the way. I am pretty stiff in the hips and I find that when I try to start the hips earlier it feels weird and uncoordinated.
    Cheers
