despite what you may think of Liv Morgan, who is accompanied by her bodyguard,
so to speak, Raquel Rodriguez and her boyfriend, the slimy Dominic Mysterio. I believe Liv Morgan is the Superstar
of the year for 2024 in WWE. The woman won the World Championship back
in Saudi Arabia by beating Becky Lynch. In May, she would go on to win
the Crown Jewel Championship by knocking off Nia Jax. And she hasn’t lost a singles
match since back in March. >> Speaker 1: She’s tough. She works her ass off. She’s gotten better every single day
since she’s entered this business. She’s just hanging around a dirt ball. >> Speaker 2: Liv Morgan
defends her world title against Rhea Bloody Ripley live on Netflix. There is our Women’s World Champion,
Liv Morgan. She is approaching historic
numbers in her title reign. Bailey at 379, Rhea Ripley at 379 days. Two women who held the championship
longer than Liv Morgan. >> Speaker 1: This is what. >> Speaker 2: If you look up the word
Superstar in the dictionary, that woman’s face would be on that page. Rhea Ripley has it all. >> Speaker 1: An anomaly from Australia,
Power, foxy, ring iq, you name it, she got it. >> Speaker 2: Her first few years
here at wwe, she lost her way. She was manipulated into the Judgment Day
by Edge who preyed on her, her soul, the fact that she needed
to feel loved and welcomed, that she was vulnerable at the time. And Rhea Ripley told me earlier
today that she played into that. One of the reasons that she attacked
her once best friend, Liv Morgan. But she turned the page. And Rhea Ripley was then
assaulted by Morgan last year, forcing her to relinquish the championship
after 379 days as champion. Tonight it operates opportunity for Rhea Ripley to get a title
back that she never lost. I want to take a look now at Rhea Ripley’s
one on one matches since May of 2022. She suffered two losses. And look who those two losses were to. >> Speaker 1: Our current Women’s World
Champion who’s mooching all over Ria’s X right in her face. >> Speaker 2: Dominic Mysterio and
Ria Ripley were an item for a long time. >> Speaker 3: The following
contest scheduled for one fall is for
the Women’s World Championship. Introducing first the challenger from Adelaide, South Australia opponent accompanied by Raquel Rodriguez and Dirty Dominic Mysterio. Representing the Judgment Day, she is the Women’s World Champion,

hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. They were once tag team
Champions together. His father brought him into this business. And then Dominic Mysterio
would join the judgment day, turn his back on his father in
some of the most despicable and deplorable actions that

Rhea Ripley going after one another. A highly personal battle. As mentioned before, these two were
once best friends, now bitter enemies. Not only the fact that Morgan
took her championship, but the fact that Morgan also
stole Rhea Ripley’s man. >> Speaker 1: They both hurt each other,
they both forced misses time. These two have certainly gone at it. >> Speaker 2: And Rhea Ripley now. >> Speaker 2: Cannonballing
into Raquel Rodriguez. Now, unlike the way we started
in the night with tribal combat, there are rules in this matchup. In order for Rhea Ripley to win
the championship, she must pin or submit Liv Morgan. Disqualifications count outs do
not help Rhea Ripley here tonight. You saw Dominic get involved there. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, the piece of trash. >> Speaker 2: And Rhea Ripley. Now there’s the power

wear down Ria Ripley. Liv Morgan taking some real enjoyment

injured Morgan a number of years ago, which really kicked off
this multi-year rivalry. >> Speaker 1: Liv also says, watch me, she wants to show the world there’s
a reason she’s the Champion. >> Speaker 2: WWE fans, and look at that,
clawing the back of Ripley. >> And Rhea, she’s powering through. >> Come on. >> And Rhea begging for more. And a clothesline takes down Morgan. And now Rhea Ripley,

as she scoots out of harm’s way, at least, momentarily. Morgan looking for a roll up there,

a released German suplex, cover now, by Ripley to win the Championship. Morgan gets the shoulder up. >> Speaker 1: I thought that title was,
stack dumping Liv Morgan on her head for a two-count,
right in front of Dumb Dom’s face. >> Speaker 2: Dominik trying
to will the champ, Morgan, on. A historic night here
tonight in Los Angeles, the start of a new era of

you’re watching in the world. And Rhea Ripley slides underneath,
looking for riptide now on Morgan. Riptide by Ripley, stacks on Morgan,
for the championship. Morgan kicked out. Rhea cannot believe that Liv Morgan
just kicked out of Riptide. >> Speaker 1: Like a cat,
Rhea slips underneath Liv Morgan, locks in the Riptide, hits it clean, stacks Liv,
and somehow Liv Morgan kicks out. Rhea has got to be utterly confused about
what the hell she needs to do to win this title back. >> Speaker 2: And now Dominik sliding
in the Championship into the ring. He’s done that on a number of occasions,
this time the official intercepts it. Now Raquel on the other
side runs into a knee. Oblivion onto a chair. Referee didn’t see it,
she was dealing with Dumbass Dom. Cover, kick out at two. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Speaker 1: The Wrestling gods are blessing us this evening. That would have been so
wrong if that’s how Liv Morgan won. Distraction into the chair,
while Dirty Dom was working his magic on the other side. >> Speaker 2: And now Liv Morgan’s

Raquel’s got involved, Dom’s got involved, tried to use a championship, tried to use

again, this time intercepted by Ripley. Rhea intercepted Liv,
not this time around, Rhea says. Looking into the eyes of Rhea Bloody Ripley. Rhea again, setting up Morgan for
another riptide. Rhea’s not done yet, a second riptide,
