The Haven Wolverhampton is inviting individuals and teams, who could be made up of colleagues, friends, or family, to come along on Thursday, September 25, and play 18 holes of golf in aid of an important cause.
The charity golf day will take place at Wolverhampton’s Oxley Park Golf Club, beginning at the clubhouse with breakfast sandwiches, before the golfers head out to the course for 18 holes, mini competitions, and a chance to win trophies in categories such as ‘nearest the pin’ and ‘longest drive.’
An evening meal will follow the day on the course.
As well as players, the charity is also calling on the local business community to consider its golf day sponsorship options to promote themselves locally and make a positive impact on the lives of victims and survivors of abuse.
Anna Pendlebury, fundraising and grants lead at The Haven Wolverhampton, said: “We invite our community, whether you’re a business, individual, or want a great day out with friends, family, or colleagues, to ‘par-take’ in our popular golf day.
“Our previous events are so much fun and 2025 will be no different.
“Otherwise, if you don’t consider yourself a dab-hand at golf, then there are many sponsorship opportunities available.

“Our golf day offers the opportunity for people to get involved in a ‘tee-riffic’ day of camaraderie or the chance to promote their business in the community, all in the aim of raising funds to improve the lives of women and children who’ve suffered.

All funds raised will help ensure that vital services for women and children provided by The Haven Wolverhampton can continue.
To attend the golf day, the entry price is £80 for individuals or £320 for teams of four.
In terms of sponsorship opportunities, on a first-come-first-served basis, businesses can have Headline Sponsorship for £1,000, Goody Bag Sponsorship for £250, or Entertainment Sponsorship for £250.
There are also multiple Hole Sponsorship opportunities for £55 each.
