hey guys welcome back to Modern golf I hope you’re having a great day and even better week today we’re talking about mistakes and how nobody wants to admit they made a mistake and I’m here to tell you I made a mistake last year we reviewed the players for air and I think people had expect of this grandiose brand new super techy players 4 bag that’s super lightweight but we wanted like a players 5 Pro features right we wanted the synthetic leather we wanted a thousand more Pockets we wanted a pass through and we got was this lightweight bag that really nobody knew what to do with so I’ve been testing this bag again recently in the last few months using it a lot uh I played in Rain a few times and I’m here to admit I was wrong I I think this may be vessel secret um that nobody really wants to talk about if you’re looking for a 14-way top golf bag that’s super easy to carry and it’s super durable materials and is a one I w’t say a onetick pony can do it all I think this is the best vessel you can get this through a dxr so I want to quickly go over the features we’re not going to do a full riew again but I want to go over why I like this golf bag and why I think I was wrong last year so let’s talk about the top first 14-way top uh I still think this may be the best top vessel has done again I don’t mind the engineered mesh versus the velour it holds up incredibly well has a great leather handle here I go putter driver 3-wood hybrid um again 4 5 6 7 8 9 pitching Gap and then 54 58 it’s just simple uh I don’t know why more manufacturers don’t use a poter pit it is what it is we go in storage and I think this is where people including myself looked at this bag and said boy this material does not feel good this is all Cordura and if you know anything about Cordura it’s not cheap the zippers in here are very cool they’re these knurled pulled um with this metal kind of pull tab thing here not even to say pull tab where you can kind of uh push tab uh you can undo it you know one of the greatest uh things we’ve seen in really in golf lately is these waterproof zippers and valuable pocket has a huge pocket in here has room for your gloves and everything else doesn’t have the little thing for your locking up but I like it zippers are good it does take a little bit get used to this isn’t a traditional I would say uh vinyl golf bag where you can do it one-handed this does sometimes need two hands towel ring here or ring for whatever you want to do do another little ring here one of the best carbon fiber looking uh handles again a little logo here and full feature velour pocket here which I like again ball pocket which is great what it lost comparison to the other ones was a was a drink holder here there is a there is a drink holder here and again one of the reasons I say I really like this bag is I can get a rain Hood in my pocket now right I don’t have one these again and this started the implementation of and if you know anything about vessel this and the vinyl bags this was not all the same material it is now um but again this is one of the the touch points that I thought was kind of the evolution uh for vessel where now the players 5 and the players 5 Pro have the material built in um the straps are good same mechanism here you know the white imprints good white imprint there’s good one of the best I would say you know stand features in golf this flat-based technology really really good and the reason I brought this back up again I don’t want to make a long review again um I just think this is such a great golf bag I don’t love all the colorways and I I can’t get off that Island um you know they have white and gray in this color think like Storm Shadow or what have you which is a you know grayish kind of green kind of black they have Olive uh they have Navy which Navy seems to be the most popular color cuz it’s always sold out but I think if I had to pick one golf bag from vessel it would be this size golf bag either the players 5 or the air or the players 5 dxr because with this material and same with the dxr and I’ll get out of here pretty quickly is you don’t have to worry about putting a cart strap on here you don’t have to or a cart sleeve on here you don’t have to worry about what happens if you scratch this uh these are super durable and so I admit I was wrong I think this may be one of the best golf bags that vessels ever done but the industry as a whole and certainly I think people didn’t love it but I have come to find that I use this bag way more than a lot of my golf bags and I love it because when I’m going to practice or play or walk nine I don’t have to worry about switching out in bags um again you guys know my reviews I’m not being paid for by vessle they no sponsor anything um but again I A year later I just feel like I made a mistake on my initial review I like the bag and back then I really come to enjoy it what I want them to do and where I think this bag would be an absolute home run is get Bolder colors um do an electric green do a bright blue uh and I think this bag would sell super well so anyway guys just want to kind of do a real quick kind of followup on me making a mistake on this bag I just think it’s a great golf bag if you need a golf bag and you walk all the time and you want a vessel but you don’t want you know a 7 lb vessel or 8 lb give the air a shot I think you would not be disappointed I love it um again I’m going to try to order a dxr in the five and kind of compare the two and see really like which one I think it’s the best uh vessel bag and and I think I have a feeling which way it’s going to go um but again if you’re a walker or want a lighter weight 5 lb bag um give this one a shot there are very few golf bags that have a 14-way
