Between two shots with the @ClevelandSrixonTour ambassador.

The intersection of golf and culture.

Behind every drained putt or hosel rocket into the stands is a human being with complex emotions—among them, an insatiable appetite for golf. That’s what we’re after. Golf’s humanity is what makes it so special to us. There have never been more reasons to love this game, and we’re endeavoring to explore them all.

everyone wants to know what an 18 handicap would shoot at Oakmont i want to know what Oakmont would shoot at an 18 handicap that doesn’t even make sense you know no one’s really caring about Oakmont in this scenario i I don’t think that’s a fair match up at all who’s your best friend on tour uh we’ll go Ben Griffin what’s your uh favorite club in the bag uh got to be a 60 uh my short game kind of carries at times what is your favorite course in the world that is not a PJ tour course uh uh Marion what is one course you most want to play but haven’t yet uh probably Pine Valley if you could have dinner with one historical figure who would it be oh that’s a fantastic question thank you i’m gonna go kind of crazy here but I feel like it would be an incredibly eventful dinner uh Howard Schnellenburgger i don’t even know who that is exactly who is that famous college coach uh started at Miami uh built up that team if you ever seen the U did all that but he started the U just and I mean it’s there’s a lot of great football coaches over time but he was like had the cigar he had just I don’t know i feel like everything about the night would be eventful fun what was your first job my first job was picking range balls at the local golf course for free golf what golf course charleston National what is your most used emoji thumbs up for sure big thumbs up you send the thumbs up or do you react thumbs up to a message i’ll do both and I’ll I’ll send the double thumbs up a lot so what would be your last meal oh it’s going to be so much food pizza from Salt New York some dessert involved in there uh we can skip the salad what’s your favorite class you took in college well so at Wford we have this thing called interim and I took a class studying essentially ESPN and a bunch of 3030s all right no Tiger allowed in this section you’re not allowed to answer Tiger who’s the player you grew up idolizing nobody and my last question for you if you could have one mulligan for your career one place where you could go back and drop another ball where would it be i guess the obvious answer would be like get a a Rio at that putt on 18 at Heritage i would have played less break but back on Cornferry Tour I was on the cut line at a tournament and it was dark we were last group out and I decided to hit the T-shot on the last hole and hit it down the right side and it was so dark we never found the ball i ended up having to come back i was the only guy in the field wasn’t that bad of a shot uh no it was not a great shot but it was dark like we lost the ball like it definitely factored in at 2 in the afternoon i was actually one safe at the cut line but lost ball i had to come back in the morning i was the only guy in the field was in Portland and I had to like try and birdie the hole for bogey to make the cut on the number i ended up making double i probably should not have hit that T-OT at the time there was too much going on and you know you had a putt to win a signature event but the one that really bothers you was missing a cut in a corner that’s the that’s the honest one but like how many putts have I misread in my error half that was like man that was kind of stupid that was a poor decision yeah that’s it so good stuff man appreciate it appreciate
