Adrian congratulations first dividual individual event win of your LIF golf career we just talk about your feelings over the weekend managing to get that first individual win of your live golf career um yeah to be honest it’s such a relief because uh last couple of Halls uh it was a battle for me it started on tennis tennis Hall I was quite stressful then Sebastian made couple good birdies uh but yeah I’m super happy uh to be sitting here uh with the trophy and the bike but no I’m super super super happy and satisfied I’ve been working very hard hard last last couple of months and uh I’m glad it’s it’s it paid off and you’ve LED here inide very before obviously down in jeda maybe not worked out for you then today on that back nine did any thoughts group into your mind about jeda before how did you manage to close it out in the end no I never I never really thought about the F about jeda uh I just try to stay in the tournament just uh kept like telling myself that I’m still in it I’m still tied for first I still have six holes to go I’m playing well so um one shot at a time and uh that’s what I did uh I was nervous I’m not going to lie uh but um I think it’s normal and I think as as soon as you accept it you can uh release it and then you know play your best and that that’s what happened so I’m I’m super happy uh that it work work work well and I hand over to Mike so so Adrian you were you were four up at the turn uh and then as you said you you had the 10 and 11 uh uh you talked about the stress what was going through your mind at 13 when that uh when the put Circle the cup um yeah like I I felt like I was in control after nine halls and then I missed the short one on on 10 for and that’s where kind of the nerve started then I made another bogy in a row and then the leap out on 13 was just so ugly uh but it happens um still did a lot of good shots uh so I just you know tried to stay patient and keep committing to next shots and uh the bird on on 16 was really huge I think to to to G some momentum going to last two halls and yeah I made some good swing on on the last two holes and uh that was enough when they ask you about that second shot at 16 that it obviously you know separated you and Sab yeah uh so yeah I had 153 Metter a little bit uh downwind and I I’ve hit that shot twice before on this round like with the same went with the same Club so I was quite confident about this shot I was just aiming a little bit right right off the pin nice little draw and I think the ball finished just five four feet off from the hall so it was it was um probably the biggest shot for me in this round oh a wi like this the way you had the battle on the back nine make it perhaps a leave even more sweeter that you know you were able to come through as opposed to like you weren’t really pushed at all you know obviously you had to you had to make some big shots and come back from some uh obstacles yeah definitely that’s what I’m saying it’s a big relief uh and satisfaction because I I mean I could have I could have given up after two boggies and then not so such a good not such a good um t-shot on on the next Hall but I just you know I’ve been that in that position before uh where I was leading the tournament and then wasn’t going my way but I I managed to to close it off so I just kept really like telling to myself that I can do it and I think that’s the best strategy going forward you you talked in the about the your offseason how hard you worked you made uh coaching change that type of thing uh did you expect to get immediate results like like you did this week um to be honest I last couple weeks uh I shot really low numbers uh back in Dubai where I was practicing so I knew the game was there um so I knew had to stay patient and keep doing my thing uh and you never like with with golf you never know when you you know get get a good form and and perform and that’s what happened for me this week so I’m super happy that it happened in the first tournament and uh I will continue work on my game and hopefully I can uh bring more trophies and how much of an impact has been part of the clicks and and having Martin as Captain how how much has that made an impact on your game since you joined Liv no since I joined Liv and clicks I’ve been really enjoying my life much more uh you know we have such a good team chemistry within the team um and I’m just enjoying traveling together with all the guys uh we spent so much so much time together and yeah it’s just just super fun much more much much much more fun than than before before live and my last question uh obviously this is our first tournament Under The Lights can you just s sum up week what it was like and does this make you the night King no I I really enjoyed it I I think it was a great setup uh the lights were bright enough we we we we managed to see the ball quite quite well even even in the desert sometimes um but yeah I thought it was a good good setup I heard there a good Fe there was a good feedback from TV uh so yeah I think we can definitely keep doing that and maybe maybe add one more somewhere there somewhere else great we’ll open up to Media questions any questions yep over there um Adrian this isaf from Al newspaper uh he he starts by saying congratulations on the win and um he’s um telling you you’ve LED from day one and can we say now that rad has a special place in your heart and can you tell us about your experience in the city yeah definitely I mean uh definitely the first win will always have a special heart in a special place in my heart and um I’m super happy it happened here uh my first time was here was in December um I really like the place I think it’s a it’s a great uh part of the world and I really enjoy playing on that golf course so um I don’t know the schedule is for next year but I’m sure we’ll be back here y over here uh hello it’s Lulu up from Middle Eastern newspaper can you tell me what’s the difficult bars in this championship for you what’s difficult um probably the last um like during the night golf or just overall um I don’t know like each each tournament is difficult I mean our job is not the easiest in the world so you have to you know stay patient keep uh believing in yourself uh you have 54 uh really good players so there’s no uh room for error so I think staying consistent is the the most difficult and tricky part yep tyan for two more um so this is muhammadan from independent Arabia also congratulating you on the win um so you live in Dubai and you know um you touched on um practicing there at night in order for you to have a feel for it here also in Riyad can we see Adrien one day living here in Riyad H that’s a good question to be honest I don’t know we’ll see but uh for now for now I really enjoy Dubai I like living there I’ve been there for over over two and a half years and um I think uh I won’t be moving anytime soon but who knows who knows and time for one more at the back yeah um Adrian this is ad from meca newspaper um also congrat letting you on the win um the his question is um you’ve also spoken about the um um game at night and how different uh a bit it is compared to um you know the other events um what’s so special about playing at night in your opinion and um can we say that um you feel more comfortable playing at night comfortable I wouldn’t say but I think I prepared well for this tournament playing few rounds in Dubai like night in night golf because you have to get used to the Shadows the lightning the perception is a little bit different especially um around the greens and on the greens reading the green uh but I really enjoyed it I mean I never played tournament before so that was my I guess first one for for everyone uh but I like changes I like new things so I really enjoyed it and uh I I don’t mind it at all uh it’s you know the the setup of the course with the lights and uh and everything was was really good and I think all of the players most of the players liked it so definitely it’s a it’s it was it was a nice tournament and with that we’ll give a warm Round of Applause to our winner here
