Joaquin Niemann Wins 4th LIV Title Of 2025, Prepared For U.S. Open

i actually didn’t didn’t know I mean had an idea I was going pretty low today but didn’t quite know I was eight under i mean I knew what I needed to do and try to make more berries and try to chase the leaders and you know it was a lot of fun but yeah I mean it’s it’s pretty cool to be in this place in this position right now which I’m pretty thankful i think I got some inspiration from Carlos Alcaras to be honest i was watching his game and it was pretty good to see that he was three shots of losing the match i mean three three match points against him and being able to bring that back into into you know into the match and being able to win it was pretty cool so yeah I mean I felt like I I was able to sit down on the locker by myself was me there and my brother so I was it was I was just chilling there on on the locker room and watching Carlos Alcaras uh making that so it was it was pretty cool and uh yeah I mean more than I felt like it was more a patient kind of thing for the whole week i felt like from the beginning of the of the week I felt like I was kind of like forcing things to make it happen and and the way I play on Saturday I play pretty good golf i didn’t make many passs there and I felt like my attitude wasn’t wasn’t the best i was being a kind of like a little kid in a in a few reactions that I had but I didn’t I wasn’t I wasn’t too proud of that and I felt like and going back on Saturday Saturday night uh I talked kind like to myself that I was I was going to be patient on Sunday I I did wanted to have a good attitude uh have a good reactions after good PS uh cuz it was pretty hard to read the screens so so yeah I feel like all that patience for the whole week it kind of pay off in the on the last rain delay for the last five holes so I’m pretty proud of that yeah I mean I feel like it’s just another golf tournament i mean I got to figure out stuff in my game i got to improve like I say before my driving i feel like next week is it’s going to be a it’s going to be a good challenge and uh I feel like this is going to be a good preparation for what’s coming so so yeah I mean I I’m actually haven’t been in Agman before it’s going to be my first time so I I got to go there on Monday and see what it is and then see what I expect but no no no more more than that i don’t have any many other expectations yeah for sure i mean it’s something that is always in my mind and I know there’s uh some pressure behind of of me performing here and and not having good results on on majors and I feel like that’s you know I mean just a learning process at the end of the day is still still a golf tournament uh probably I feel sometimes a little more uncomfortable in some situations but I feel like I’m I’m learning to to be better in those situations so so yeah I mean I I just I mean just another golf tournament more than that I can’t say anything else
