what’s up guys it’s Bailey from EC Lax and today we’re here with another product review today we have the Kaddx cleats a new cleat that has hit the market with a new technology so let’s get into it [Music] so Katakle originally started I believe in football and they’re trying to get more into the football realm but they’re kind of growing into the lacrosse market as well um Kaddx does a really great job on social media i’ve seen a ton of their social media posts and they send them out to different lacrosse athletes um I know Ryan Jenner one of our men’s pro players wears these so they said that they recommend going a half size up um but these are both available in men’s and women’s cleats they’re available in the lows and the mids these are the lows you can see there’s not much but the mids has more of this like sock stretching material here that goes up onto the ankle these are available in both men’s and women’s cleats they’re 225 for men’s and 250 for women’s which I think is kind of steep for cleats but I think it’s kind of worth it based on the technology behind them um I also found it interesting that the women’s is slightly more expensive than the men’s not really sure why that is but they’re available in this white and teal color they’re also available in an all teal color and then as well in black for just men only which I also thought was weird but that was in the football version of their cleat for men so maybe it’s like a football thing so these were created by athletes for athletes so researchers found a link between the cleats and the surface that athletes are playing on linking to injuries so the idea behind these are these smart studs which they rotate down here a standard heel back here then these pegs up here they rotate so the idea is that when athletes are rotating or they’re kind of like planting their foot down these take the impact versus your ankles or your knees or your feet undetectable flex reduces rotational force on the knee and lower extremities without sacrificing performance they’re actually really hard to move but I would imagine if like an adult person if they’re like planting hard enough that these would move but I’m just weak and I can’t really move them oh yeah I’m moving them they’re just stiff these cleat have also been worn in cuz Madison Ducet has been wearing these cleats for a little bit um to kind of break them in so that she could give her honest review on them now we’re going to throw it over to Madison on the turf so she can give her actual review and run around with them [Music] what’s up guys madison Ducet i’m a goalie for the New York Charging jack and the team over at Caddx hooked me up with a new pair of cleats let’s talk about them so I’ve been using these for about three weeks now um I’ll say it probably took a week and a half two weeks to break in uh lost some socks in the process but that comes comes with doing business i’ve really liked them so far i think the confidence has been great just knowing that I can pretty much full send into a turn and feel that little extra bit of security knowing that I have some give um I’ve had some knee issues I’ve had some hip issues so there’s definitely some more confidence in there uh the colors obviously sick they do do some custom ones um for some athletes that that go with their team so potentially a charging one in the works um and there’s also a mid and a low these are the lows next time I might give the mids a go because I think that there’s a little ankle room for me um but that also comes with having size 10 feet as a shorter female so overall really liked them uh love what Jack and the team at Katex is doing and uh should give them a try the mic is going to sound crazy oh again Jack and the team at C again [Music]
