Tesla has teased a new 7-seat Model Y configuration in a customer email, hinting at an imminent launch. The updated Model Y, part of the “Juniper” refresh, features a redesigned exterior, improved aerodynamics, a smoother ride, and an all-new interior with a rear passenger display and ventilated seats. A Performance variant is expected with enhanced acceleration (0-60 mph in ~4.1 seconds), alongside Long Range RWD and AWD models. Production of the 7-seater is reportedly starting soon in Shanghai, targeting a sales boost amid a 2025 Q2 slump.

this video was taken in Germany the famous track in German Germany of the Tesla Model Y performance as you know and I’ve test driven it many many times and driven a friend of mine has it the only difference that was between the Tesla Model Y nonperformance then the performance what was obviously acceleration and speed of course h it was more more expensive of course obviously it was a little show a little lower okay because it’s it is a performance uh 21in wheels the red caliper and all that and of course it had the spoiler in the back and it it says dual motor with the line underneath okay there was no B nothing so I hope is what I hope i hope that the new uh Model Y performance will have some other features to dis differentiate it from the others okay different little design little lines different little lines some more aggressive look i don’t know how Tesla is going to do it but I really really hope and wish that it’s going to look different obviously it’s going to be more expensive it’s going to look a bit different than the the older version okay so actually you see that you are sitting in a different version of a car so that’s number one am I excited about it whatever not really i don’t care it’s nice to have that option there are people who like it it has less range but it’s it it flies and it’s amazing i drove the Tesla Model 3 performance last year it it is a rocket now our Tesla Model Y because it’s the launch model it has the acceleration boost which makes it 4.2 to 0 to 60 which is really beast beast all right so that’s number one number two that is very exciting and I hope it’s going to be uh what I’m about to describe and and Tesla owners got this email okay including me about a midsize SUV Tesla Model Y with a with a they made sure to to emphasize a seven seat okay Tesla Model Y7 seat was sold i have two very good friends one lives in Florida and one lives here who do have the Tesla Tesla Model Y 7 seat okay now first of all it is a wonderful option uh for a family that has four children two and two in the back it’s really good for small children it’s really great for small children even my friend my friend Wahaz she’s a very she’s a petite woman and she slid in and she said and she was okay now do you want to sit in the back as an as an adult for 3-hour ride i don’t know about that but little kids it’s fantastic it’s great yes it is now what I do hope that a this uh version uh comes comes to the menu soon it’s going to be the longrange dual motor I believe and two I hope it is a different uh wheel um different length different configuration in terms of the size maybe a little longer uh Tesla couple inches you don’t need too much maybe a little longer wheelbase that is wider so it’s not just if it’s just the same Malwa that it’s now which is basically the same size of the old Malwai and you have a sevenseater i I am not against it but it is for a very particular family with small children okay small children it’s good i’m telling you i’ve seen it i I I It’s good but it is for small children that’s all I’m telling you but I hope it’s okay and the third thing that I hope so first I hope it’s coming i hope it’s different wheelbase and length and three I hope it is going to be sold abroad it was sold only in North America it will be great in everywhere in the world families families of five families of six four four children and two parents will be unbelievable and unbelievably successful if it is a longer wheelbase that will be great i’m telling you so that’s that the third one I did a video about it is everybody the Tesla cheap Tesla is coming affordable Tesla is coming if it’s a compact Tesla Model Y it will be such a 25 $30,000 for a compact Tesla Model Y hatch hatch is the key that will be sold like crazy that will be a crazy crazy best seller ever i am telling you i am telling you now we saw videos i did a video about it so I hope and I pray that Tesla will have this version out soon all over the world at once in every factory now let me just add we used to have it in United States we don’t anymore but all over the world and also Model 3 we used to have it I have it still now but we we can buy it anymore a standard range Tesla Model 3 Model Y the reason we don’t have the United States is because the battery comes from China and there are no incentives but hopefully very soon a LFP batteries will be produced in the United States we don’t have to import them from China and it will be it will be available because everywhere in the world there are three version of the Tesla model why standard range 500 km long range one motor long range dual motor now they go once the performance come will be four versions united States we’re going to have only three and hopefully the compact one in America and all over the world so that would be really really fantastic all right see what happens thank you guys for watching and I see you in my next
