   One of the best shots I have witnessed over a 60 year golf experience was in Ricky Fowler’s 2008 Torrey Pines 2nd Hole Play in the US OPEN. Fowler hits his 2nd on 2 bouncing off the back and down the hill under a sprawling tree. Having the Area Captain’s view from green side, Rickie clubs his ball into the over-story dropping above the hole with some roll toward the pin. Must have learned that shot playing hardpan courses for U Oklahoma (State?) in the SEC conference. Phenomenal golf & 17 years following his & Lucas Glover’s careers.
