what’s up guys turn this on all right all right so we got round two at Oakmont this week’s major should be fun to watch all right i’m also trying this is the first week I’m playing it ping G430 the LST model probably not ideal to use new drivers in majors but uh it’s just sim golf guys we’re going to be all right okay time to hit a draw with this club pretty far to start out good way to start let’s see it’s hard hard let’s get this set up here okay all right good start settings are hard hard 12 stemp hard greens hard fairies plus a tiny bit of elevation can’t see it because Oh you can 774 ft so 127 now these greens are very difficult there’s not a straight putt on this whole round go just a little bit should bounce hard wow very hard there’s also firm settings that are even more hard than this that they play some tournaments on i bet the tips around that we’ll play later in the week probably have some firm settings which will make this course very difficult what was it 12 i got to double check 12 okay 14 19 20 oh man did that last round too brutal all right here we go this is kind of a tough one to hit the fairway at the driver but Stay there i knew I was going to find that bunker that’s why I said that just get on the up slope oh it almost bounced over it did not the worst thing in the world 58 okay this is where you got to be careful okay now 20 degrees up just going to add a couple yards so we’re at 62 maybe like 63 64 i think we’re at 63 64 is probably our number it’s gonna 67 pretty good sit that’s it i’m very happy with that as per usual on Oakmont no gimmies all right made up for the first hole let’s get this past those bunkers on the left there’s not too much trouble here just takes a good strike stay there oh shoot not Not too worried about that this won’t hurt much 19 it’s going to come out a little bit right that’s probably where we want to be anyways there the wind pushing it so 18 122 little into the wind is 120 maybe like 12 126 to 130 here 128 That’s not enough bounce hard slightly miscalculated but also as a result of my contact I got a little less spin than I expected to so that helped all right it’s the one right there again oh man what a terrible put shoot all right part five oh wow minus seven in round one well done yeah round one was probably the round to score on it’s not going to get any easier with hard and firm greens all right this is a fun drive here downwind just got to be careful not to overdraw it here and I did not the deep stuff not in the deep stuff all right won’t hurt me that much so want to carry it yeah we need a club a five iron here only want it to go you know 200 in the air we got a lot of wind behind us plus it’s going to roll out oh that’s what we drew up sit oh that’s too far shoot sit sit sit sit i’m happy with that though now this actually try and Yeah put this This is a little risky because it’s semi- rough been burned by this before where it comes out super slow so 15 40 45 down 11 35 25 oh sorry 45 34 putter that came out pretty darn slow like I said and now I have a Should have chipped it should have tipped it still not enough all right only eight all right get your butt okay where is the So we can off on this one well after snapping the last couple again that is just fine that is quite the pin location though all right so we got to play it up here a little more green 114 i like it that should bounce down and the rough took away some of the spin down six wow a little bit more yeah I finally hit 12 it’s just going to kind of trickle over like it very nice okay 193 carry it maybe 184 all right 10 mph into us so we probably want to carry it 190 might be a good number the 190 number a little bit it’s got to go i missit that terribly and I didn’t swing hard enough sorry all right this is a tricky shot here though this up a little ways going to come down 20 hard the problem is these hard greens it’s just impossible to stop it man I needed about one more foot for that to be perfect but that first bounce ended up being pretty weird all right come on way to bogey here think that looks all right first two are fast aren’t they that’s good though we’re going uphill oh I left it short can’t seem to get this part right all right well dropped the shot just got to blow my nose sorry if that was loud all right one more fun of a hole fun hole here downhill downwind that one ride there we go much spin but straight drive all right 110 a lot of wind bring it in a little bit from this side only thinking 103 here maybe a big bounce well that’s 103 sit hard come on stop stop stop miscal miscalculation there that was exactly what I tried to do bummer a little more spin would have been nice too down seven okay this is one you just have to try and let it trickle in the side door here basically just looking for a two putt or getting lucky if it falls oh oh my goodness shoot that was close oh here’s a hole okay 231 a lot of wind maybe Land it maybe only need 200 huh window carry it plus a ton of roll draw ball oh no that’s a bad mistake oh that’s going to be really hard up and down just hit it to the right and get up and down now it’s almost a for sure bogey unless you make a miracle shot here again with the greens being hard it is just very hard to stop this at all we’ll see maybe it’ll be Try and get it up high i don’t even know how that’s possible but I carried that about two yards farther than the hole was all right right there all right so 19 down two 17 over there how did you did I really apparently I pulled that a little bit i don’t know how that missed so far right well the par threes have not been good so far this is just a long hole here so the drive would be a good way to start darn look at all that spin oh stay out of the sit okay that turned out a lot better than I thought it was going to a lot of spin on that drive it’s pretty straight but uh All right one kind of A high fade up there along with the wind stay stay where’s that going to bounce oh it did bounce towards the hole nice take that 200 yards man no straight putts here though i got to put this way outside again downhill more break i got to go up here because even at the end it goes a little bit faster i can handle this i can’t really I think I got to go one more one more let’s try that 17 16 17 man that’s three putts just like that could use one or two of those to drop oh man a little bit left get over that bunker not ideal again I’m playing with a new driver right now one that I’ve only played one round with 152 all right 152 i like it goodness sakes i mean guys I don’t know how to play that a whole lot better to be honest but if you’re gonna if it’s going to bounce like that what can you do i’d try and make a 22 this is up 10 now so this isn’t going to break a whole lot one more tick 22 up 10 so we’re looking at like a 32 foot putt i can’t get him to drop okay here we are sitting in number two i have to do better than this though it’s not ideal when I hit it here I think I am just gonna kind of come up here remember I hit a draw so I don’t necessarily even need the other fairway i just want kind of that angle cuz everything bounces so far stay up stay up that’s just fine give me a big bounce nice look at that oh what a treat all right 110 be a little little gap wedge let’s look at the Okay let’s see here where’s the wind little side wind all right this is pretty straightforward i want to hit this 108 to 110 we’re going to lose some yardage out of the rough but it’ll bounce hard so that’s about what we wanted yeah just keep giving ourselves chances some of these putts will fall this one’s pretty makeable here i think I’m gonna let this one go outside the hole contrast it’s kind of hard to see the hole for me i have to get a little Okay actually one more tiny tap when you have to hit it this light i can only hit it nine there beautiful there we go curious push that 0.5 okay i thought I pushed it a little bit i think my screen’s right all right there we go back up to minus five let’s uh let’s make a little push here at the end of this round into the wind i want to switch back to my old driver i play the Qi10 but I’ve been testing out other clubs so that’s what I play this is what I’m trying i’ll put away the the main club all right there we go i’ll stop messing with the windows all right i get curious to look at some of my stats and unique stay there all right there’s a good one still a little too much spin but it’s going to go all the way to the bottom don’t go in that heavy rough 268 down all right and this is left so I’m going to go a little bit far trying to hit a draw it’s my old school 3-wood trusty Rusty so 265 but into the win she going to get a ton of roll so 250 carry 252 but not enough draw bummer what we wanted to do stay up there cool nice little break there it’s exactly what we tried to do just a little push on the 3-wood but the bailout was left so I’m okay with that now this is going to run away so let me just click see what I have to carry here i with hard greens I want to barely land this thing on so 10 10 or 11 yards going to go downhill towards the hole so we’re actually going to aim up here i have 3.1 degrees down so I do have to open this up just a little bit 20 that’s off the green i did not carry that 20 that is a massive mistake now gosh guys all right six hard part here six i don’t know what happened there well that sucks we are desperately trying to make a bar probably one of the easiest holes in the course there’s not a very good chance we’re making this okay just get in the circle take your licks welcome to Oak welcome to Oakmont so I hit 18 wasn’t 18 but it’s still going to get there that sucked guys not really happy about that okay 159 okay so Only going to hit a nine iron here i think I only want to hit it like 145 150 and the green should do the rest let’s see what the green looks like real quick slant okay back to front so I think I need a little bit more think I maybe need 155 i’m going to actually just pull out an eight and hit a little fade which the goal here wind will already help it got the original 150 should bounce hard had it right not quite as much fade not quite as much distance but not too displeased with that these greens are just You’re not making anything just got to hit better shots better shots than what I’m doing 33 up one i think it’s been all right but All right got to make some birdies this is nearly drivable i don’t need on the green but if I’m chipping I got better odds than we’ll swing hard at it though see what happens hit it pretty well little off the toe kick right go all right that’s what we wanted didn’t catch all of it i don’t seem to get as much distance out of this ping as my Qi i mean don’t get me wrong that’s still a good drive but All right 55 probably only need 45 here 4.2 down or just choke it away great shot really good really good and that guys is why we don’t even stand a chance to win this tournament this week that right there embarrassing 50 yards out and I’m going to struggle to make par more now I have a 55 foot putt well at least you fixed the problem but not getting anything there if anybody has a recommendation for an impact screen to try I’ve been using like the Carl’s Place premium impact screens but I am putting holes in them pretty darn quick you can see on the stream I actually have a patch right here which it’s better than the hole that’s way bigger than my fist but not super sturdy all right so don’t miss left we’re going to aim right at the trouble why not keep drawing it with this club in good man 494 into the wind that’s healthy that okay play this about one 190 yeah probably get 185 out of it and then some roll oh 2.8 right though if you look on the bottom right go a little bit farther this way got a little draw plus the I like it get over there just give me a little kick right a little bit i’m pretty happy with that that was well struck no gimme putt though goodness all right down four how’s everything downhill that’s my question downhill is more break simple as that so I can only hit it 14 what do you think more top all right 14 13 or 14 it’s pretty light go go man oh man the amount of putts I’ve missed right on the edge like that it’s just can’t score all right oh this wind makes this hole even tougher here i’m going to kind of hit the same shot as the last hole we’re going to try and hit a heavy draw sixiron sort of into the wind i don’t need to draw it that much but that is exactly what I wanted very happy with that come on give me a putt all right see now this is one feel like I just need to make this not good when you’re putting that much pressure on putts but again down 6 in so only hitting 12 one more stay up stay up stay up man oh man i got to look did I pull it no I actually pushed it a little bit i actually pushed it and I still missed it on the low side oh this is the driveable par4 okay so in theory with the wind if I get it high enough this is easily drivable let’s try it oh that was right off the bottom of the club go go that’s great though no problems with that that was again the miss was anywhere left anywhere left is fine see 29 in the circle guys we did it there’s a birdie all right let’s get these out of the way i play TPX and Provs that’s what that’s what’s in my ball stash here that’s what I play out on the course so that’s what I practice with it’s a little uh little expensive but if you have a lot of them like this they last a very long time stay there man oh boy well that’s what I just don’t this club i feel like I hit that pretty well everything is just so like I just snap hook everything and that doesn’t go very far comparatively to my other club so how much do I got to get this up i do have an uphill lie that’s 4 feet up 11 ft away from me well I’m not going to go chipping out i know that much so just trying to hit a good shot and hope we don’t hit the bank so one 205 I only need 185 190 get over there get over there please don’t bounce left oh well we got it up and over the ridge we have ourselves some work left though okay 23 again I’m just trying to get barely get this on the green and then let it roll out like look at that that is just wild and that gets two in a row in the circle let’s go not a birdie for that one but guys putting is hard putting is hard on Oakmont here that is maybe my lowest number this 79 here that is maybe my lowest number in any competitive tournament recently that is no putts made all right I’m going to play round three right now
