hey guys welcome back to Modern golf I hope you’re having a great day and even better week today we’re taking a look at the Sunday golf Ranger this is their highest end this is their best of the best the cream of the crop for them their best golf bag I’ve been told it is as good as it gets out there we reviewed it we checked it out we will let you know we really think of this golf bag next so let’s talk about this incredible golf bag to be fair we we’ll get this out of the way up front it is as good as advertised maybe one of the best if not the best golf bag we’ve tested we absolutely love this it’s if if someone would come to me and say hey we like what you do can you design a very utilitarian very uh modern looking golf bag would you come up with almost this verbatim and I’ll get over and I’ll talk about why I say that and what specs I like and all that good stuff but roughly 36 in tall uh right around a little over 5 lbs not super heavy not super light rip stop material uh one of the best looking golf bags I’ve ever seen one of the best tops we’ve ever used uh and get some very very very cool features without this golf bag if you don’t know the story and I’ll be brief Sunday golf went to their main designer and say Hey listen throw the price point out of the window let’s say and I want you to design your favorite if you were design your old golf bag this is how I want you to do it you have cart blanch do you want and this is what they came up with and I tell you they hit a home run this is right up my alley this is very techy um very functional very cool looking and all that good stuff maybe the coolest stealthy looking golf bag we’ve tested but again we’ll get into that so let’s talk about some of these really incredible features first thing we’re going to look at the belly and if you haven’t I don’t know if you can tell in person or on there one of the best things that they do is this matte carbon fiber leg it looks very utilitarian looks like it came out of a stealth bomber very cool little rubber legs here kind of old school ping with that I don’t hate that U would have liked a little bigger of a foot but overall it’s not a deal killer for me uh incredible tough guard and this goes from here all the way down also has a lockout with their little logo in rubber they’re just killing it on this golf bag so you don’t have to worry about ruining your golf bag has one of the most unique features regarding the way it sits and we’ll get into that before we wrap up but really really enjoy this golf bag one of the very cool things uh and if you guys watch any of my reviews and if you’re new welcome I hope you guys enjoy this video we do mostly golf reviews of tech and that kind of stuff these guys do some incredible work and one of the things that I thought was really cool and you can kind of see in here is the umbrella Loop kind of sits but it kind of sits tucked under this if that makes sense uh kind of old school that slides into here and it goes down it has and I’ll roll this over here it has two I don’t know what material this is obviously it’s a wov material super durable I mean these are as hearty as can be almost feel like mountain climbing uh Loops they’re that durable one of the things that we really liked about this golf bag when we checked it out in Orlando was this expands so one of the few things that I’ve ever seen in golf so if you’re going on a trip and you got a ton more to pack in here you can undo that zipper and expand this to put a lot of your gear in here um I have not seen this in a golf bag in years um but again leave it to the people at Sunday golf to come up with this for this bag it’s incredible so we’ll get into the so many zippers and Pockets here we’ll get into this valuables pocket here uh they’ve gotten rid of their trusty red this is even a softer higher quality uh microfiber for your valuables pocket I like it I like the zipper pulls and that’s something we’ve talked about in the past with them I also like the rubber prooof the water rubber proofing here uh again and the little garages if we open this all up and I’m going to get this zipper out of the way has a matching rain Hood one of the things you guys will notice if you haven’t noticed um the logos in here are very subtle but they’re reflective again right in my sweet spot I love every aspect and again this matches this uh where it’s kind of a waterproof uh rip stop material really really like that let me get that out of the way so it doesn’t block your view but again just big open caverners there is a zipper in here to get into um the inside of it if you need to so very cool that way this zips up there is a velcro large a large velcro space here for your glove there’s also uh a space for your Sharpie or crayon or what have you the hooks for the straps are very unique I really like the way they’re curved again very durable uh again the Sunday golf here uh is that same reflective material which I love let’s get into the top while we’re over here six-way top different uh I like it I like it a lot um same and I’m looking at uh the big rig right over here this material is rubber in here so I really like this material it’s very different from what the golf space has done we’ve gone from microfiber to like a a velvet kind of material and Sunday golf I said you know let’s kind of change this up and they put this rubber kind of in inlaid material I like it just so you guys know how do I put myself in here I go driver 3-wood hybrid and I put my putter uh if it’s a lab or whatever I’m playing uh and I go 45 6 7 8 9 I go pitching Gap and then 5458 so my 14 clubs fit in here fine I’ve had no issues with Club tangle or anything else again very simple design but I really like it have enjoyed it I also like the handle here it helps you kind of get it up and out of the way um so you’re using it as a standbag and just to kind of show you guys it it’s easy kind of one-handed uh to do that so really like the handle here is one of the best in the industry it’s firm but it feels good in your hand and it is made of the same material uh the same rip stop material as the entire bag there is a what we call a frosty pocket in here so and it goes down all the way to here so you can put a lot of drinks in there uh again same material really like it I want to I didn’t want to skip over this cuz this is I think maybe my favorite pocket in this bag if you’re a camera person uh or if you have a you love organization this bag is a home run and I love this just for this even just for this little pocket a lot of little pockets in here for your ball marks or uh divot tools or or whatever you want to put in there your snack there’s also a little pen in here pen loop holder I should say I genuinely love this this design because I think the problem for a lot of us uh and I have a little bag for all my stuff like my little ball marks and all that stuff that we collect and use and put put it back I I don’t really have a space so I just jam it in in this pocket or somewhere in the bag and then every time I go to play either before end of the round I got to go digging for that bag so I like that they have their own kind of separate compartment for that um I I really have come to really admire what Sunday golf has done in the last really couple years U regarding their bags ball pocket here uh this does zip all the way off if you want to get I love modern golf uh or your social security number or what have you can do that as well zippers as you can here and I’ll shut up are super smooth and I mean super smooth there is a grab handle here made of like a seat belt material uh again the same type of rip stop material underneath here and if we go on the bottom the only thing I would say uh that I don’t dislike uh I wish they put Sunday golf again I’m the only one on the earth who cares but I like that and again I would have liked to had a little more rubber materials uh on this bag you can see I’ve used it a little bit now a little scuff up but overall really really good design on that this material down here is a little different it’s not a rip stop it’s almost like what comes off their poly ufan golf bags again I don’t mind it it’s held up great it’s an overall really good golf bag if we get into the straps real quick um Ultra comfortable one of my favorite things and I don’t know if these guys started I I’ve seen it in a few other brand brands are these little loops and people say what is this for so if you if if you’re a walker uh this is an incredible thing to help you even put your thumbs in here or your finger to pull those straps back on you um I love it I don’t know why more Brands don’t do it the outside material is both that synthetic polyurethane and that rip stop again this bag is out of a 10 and we’ll wrap up this bag is is as good as I’ve reviewed it’s it’s really that good and we’ll flip this over hip pad very dense uh you know kind of in an odd way but but feels good felt fine when I’ve walked with it it’s been good again larger pocket here uh for your I throw my towels in here I don’t know it’s just always been habit so my towels go in here and then there’s also a little thing here for your drinks there’s also kind of a matching one if we flipped us on this side and there’s also a little pocket where the sun goes here uh there’s a pocket in here and there’s also a pocket in here this is kind of like a silvery mesh material uh they assur me it bounces back I take their word for it um I like what Sunday golf is doing I’m re again this is I would say this are the big rig are their Bassa bags um and this is up there to the top bag uh there is there’s all these little marks in here too and these are for Te you can put te’s in there uh if you really have this many te’s God bless you um so let’s wrap up we’ve done a lot of golf bags uh one of our favorites and again before I I’ll be remiss Sunday golf uh loves to spoil people so here’s a little Sharpie marker they suggest you use you can use theirs uh they give you an air freshener with your with your purchase uh they also give you um some warnings a little information about it uh and some stickers Sunday golf in the last two years to me has exploded as one of my favorite brands that we review and test this is probably I mean to be fair my favorite bag that I’ve reviewed of theirs I love the big rig and there’s a lot of things I really love about the big rig that you obvious can’t do to a standbag but overall if I had to score this I mean this is a 95 to a 975 out of 10 it is that good of a golf bag now you’re paying for it uh the only caveat is it’s around 400 bucks I will put my discount code in here will get you 15% off um you don’t have to use my code one of our favorite golf bags by far uh this will go into use this may be my one of my main bags that I use this year uh I love this golf bag and when I saw out the PGA show I have seen pictures of it I had never seen in person I was really blown away and when I got it in person I liked it even more and I continued when I use it I there’s nothing I would change in this golf bag I think the only thing maybe one thing I would change is if we could figure out a way to put a putter pit in here um that would be the only thing I really really like every aspect of this golf bag it’s stealthy it has a very cool material um it’s lighter weight has a very unique top that works well for me again not much I would really change with this golf bag at all so if you are looking for a golf bag this year and not really sure I know Sunday golf is a newer player let’s say in town um don’t hesitate and I want to say and they’ll kill me and I always say this and then I say oh is this still I believe and again I know they’re going to come back and yell at me I believe all their golf bags have a lifetime warranty and let me see if it even says it here maybe they got rid of it because I said it too much um but I want to see if it said so they call 52b I have it right about 5 lb I don’t know what the warranty is the retail price that they have on here is$ 3.97 again I don’t know if that’s still a good sticker price or not um but again you can use the 15% code uh but again I absolutely love the scalp egg um if you don’t want one of the vinyl golf bags that are out there uh definitely check out Sunday Golf and again this is the Ranger uh I believe it’s only coming in black currently I don’t know if they’re going to do another colorway but one of my favorite golf bags by far again up to I would say it’s in my top two or three certainly for 2025 uh that I think when we’re done ranking them it’ll sit very high it’s just a very very high quality very functional
