here Well all right I’ve been playing the first two rounds with the Ping G430 LS LST model This is my driver the Qi10 LS This is the only round I’m going to play with my QI10 of the three anyway in this week’s Oakmont uh major for the pro tour Anyway let’s see if I can’t uh just set myself up a little bit better have a little more experience with this club I’ve played a lot of rounds with it Oh wow that was a terrible miss to start That’s beauty Right in the fairway Look at that guys Wrong fairway Okay now games begin I’m actually going to aim right at about the hole with the wind I’d like to land it a little bit left And all that I need to carry is like 153 because it’s that number minus 10 It’s down I’m actually going to go right there Hit a full nine iron which is kind of my like 150 club and then end up a little ways right of the pin That’s the goal 150 Little ways right of the pin Bounce hard Harder than that Go Go Everything funnels to the back of the green So got to play pretty conservatively with these settings 13 stimp firm firm and this is a so we’re looking at just about 34 down nine okay so let me see the break here okay so 25 but 13 stimp I always compare it to 11 so I’m thinking like 21 Look at how fast that is Wow All right Pars are good Pars are good This is a valid valid attempt at a birdie Can’t expect to make those I just uh just got done playing round two I think I had maybe five putts that kind of just right over the edge Right over the edge Go ball Not deep rough Bounce over it the other way Go Shoot Good drive just uh all right J and Y give you that view So I am just trying I am literally trying to carry it to right there about 50 yards up a little bit into the wind Let me just do something quick Okay we’re in the deep rough though so Oh this is even worse Try and hit it high Probably want 60 at least Go go man That wasn’t even close I hit it 60 I don’t know why I lost 20 yards on a 60 yard shot That seemed a little harsh Okay Get this one Very happy with that Very happy Take my par and run Pars are pars are a good score on this round three here Try try our best to have a bogey free round Maybe we can make a couple more birdies hard when it gets up there It won’t have a ton of spin though Get over there to the right Like it You go My golfing is significantly better when I’m playing to the distance that I’m supposed to hit my club If I have to take distance off that was good It’s trouble man Oh man Even a 13 foot putt this thing is just So I can only hit it 11 almost 10ish Get over there Oh my gosh Another one And that’s out of the circle Right over the hole How does that not grab the lip just cannot make putts All right Okay here we are We got to get better That guy’s only played one round This is my third Kind of let’s try and take advantage of this break here I’m just trying to hit a four iron Should roll on up Didn’t hit it well but it’s actually going to be okay Yep It’s what we had envisioned I was trying to just hit it maybe another 10 yards farther but that was the exact line So it goes down comes back up 55 58 on 13 stimp like 54 I’ll go in the hole That was a pretty good cut birdie All right one at a time I was taking advantage of that break that’s for sure Okay stay there Should Yeah This slants heavily to the left Okay So we’re going to try and go straight into a heavy wind down Hit at least I wouldn’t mind 84 here with a lot of spin It takes a big bounce 80 would be okay 86 with not that much spin Darn That’s a terrible shot guys Soon as I hit that I forgot I’m in the rough and you lose spin Then I close my club face off on it I have to go way up here This is going to be a very difficult two putt I can’t tell you how big that steak was 49 46 42 It’s not long enough It’s going to be short Go ball Go ball Well two on this is good for me Like these short ones again No bogeies It’s the same as hitting at the seven feet and missing the putt I just played round two I only had 79 feet of putt made putts made That’s like four feet a hole which basically means none All right So 187 Is this sloped heavily to the left Yeah Into the wind So we probably want to land it 180 Oops Why did I there is not bad Actually only going to hit it about nine Right Somehow it still ended up being too hard Even though I’ve hit sixfooters harder than that back to the above par numbers All right so this one is close to drivable Love to get it up there by the green See if we can’t make a birdie here This shot’s important on this hole And that is what we wanted Go just a little bit Same thing as last time Like two more yards And that is 30 yards from the hole man Now I have a nine degree down I don’t know why All right So it goes Yeah Right Okay 51 like 40 probably Go ball Go ball 40 would terrible read I know I didn’t get it there too But all right we’re going to get back into at least even hopefully in the negative We’re going to do it Not Great though This is tough Play the tips hit four iron Goal here is about 215 with some pretty healthy draw on it Oh man Oh that carried all the way down there huh That was almost spot on what I was trying to do Overhooked it a little bit I think I miscalculated just barely This is makeable though What the biscuits is that Why does it do that Someone should have yelled at me You guys can’t see this I just ruined the just ruined my round though That’s what happened All I need to do is hit a square chip but I guess I caught it a little thin and it just scent it Scent it If I was ever going to make a putt though this would be a good one I still need to go more than that Look at these putts I’m really frustrated All right 22 Right over the hole again Just over the edge as per usual Not my week here at Oakmont This is terrible Like so many just stupid mistakes Oh now I’ve dropped way down Okay another drivable par4 311 up 15 I mean long is fine Actually right is better than left but just got to hit this high Chickened out Get up Oh good Just not doing myself any favors whatsoever 16 Like I don’t even know where to play this here because wedges don’t react to the left right as much I got to honor it a little bit Right Then it’s 19 uphill 50 I don’t know I just want this on the green Let’s make a part and get out of here That’s what we need Oh came off nice actually It Okay Can we make one guys Can we make one 15 down four is 11 That looks pretty good for 11 One more Still think that’s enough now So I actually have to hit it about 10 10 or nine That was right But I also hit it too hard This is my worst set of rounds of putting man Oh man All right Five Six My read just that off Are they that bad One thing I’m not good at is switching the stimp This is 13 It’s 12 I played on 11 earlier Played on 10 yesterday They all break so different All right Hit a good one here Get over there Watch this Bounce into the deep rough Oh it bounc straight Good I hit that one Good Just All right So one See if we can finish with a good hole here Let’s look at what we got for the green Okay So it does slope a little left to right Oh it doesn’t give me the grid viewer All right If I hit this 158 get a little extra from the wind I’ll draw 157 Oh sit sit sit sit sit I mean I got to be happy with that right Exactly what I’m trying to do All right Come on Make this But 16 down one Another just bender He’s only down one inch though But okay 15 14 and make your sixfooter to win Never easy on 18 Gosh Okay Six Seven All right That was pretty disappointing guys Not happy Hopefully we can do better in the tips tips tour Look at this though What are the stats 74 That’s two fairways That’s hilarious It’s a bad round of golf Nothing else to say about that I actually hit a lot of good shots but there’s nothing I can do with
