there are Airbnbs with private golf courses golf simulators custom golf carts and whatever this thing is i’m traveling across the country to three of these luxurious golf getaways starting in Pinehurst North Kakalaki behind me is the Birdie House which is cleverly named because if you’re staying here you’re going to be making some birdies five bedrooms sleeps 12 people this is the ultimate house for a guy’s trip to Pinehurst or if you want to bring your wife to find her that’s fine too so we’re going to take a look at the Airbnb show you guys the golf features and then we got a little challenge at the end let’s check it out yo first thing you notice when you walk in there’s a bowl of customized TE’s there are also customized ball markers with the Birdie House logo on there also golf balls with the Birdie House logo on there as well kind of rad these are like the guests gifts which is kind of cool let’s check out the rest of the house to the left of the front entrance we have the master bedroom master bathroom living room pretty nice golf themed memorabilia kitchen dining room also check out these chairs there’s like little foam rollers on the back of them laundry room bedroom number two bedroom number three/game room check this out we’ve got a little shuffle board over here plus bowling attachment kind of rad over here we got a little foosball table we got three beds as you can see and then maybe my favorite part of the entire thing we’ve got Golden Tea which probably the most like OG golf video game of all time i might just hang out here if you want to do the rest of the tour oh kind of striped let’s make a bird let’s go bedroom numero trace that’s number three for my non-speaking audience bedroom number four bathroom number two bathroom number three bathroom number four that’s it for bedrooms and bathrooms now for the fun stuff behind this door here is the first golf feature of the house let’s take a look there is a full-blown custom built-in did I mention custom golf simulator this thing is sweet genuinely this is like my dream golf simulator setup maybe one day I will have this in my home my wife will obviously have a say in that over here we’ve got a full-blown countertop there’s a built-in fridge and then maybe my favorite feature of this entire place there is a hot dog roller like a legitimate industrial hot dog roller and then just to the left of that hot dog roller there is a freezer filled with all of these hot dogs you will literally never run out of hot dogs while you’re here so not only is there a golf simulator but there’s also a built-in putt view system so there’s a projector on the ceiling projecting the line of your putt tells you where to putt it for practicing putting and that was not where I was supposed to hit it basically like a putting simulator and then also a full-blown foresight overhead simulator which is like top of the line this thing comes fully stocked with basically any golf club you can think of and then also you’ve got the couches uh just a place to hang while people are hitting golf balls and this is the first of two golf features so let’s head outside and check out the second one come on outside we’ll check out all the outdoor amenities screened in porch pretty nice cold plunge sauna for my Finnish friends at Tacoma hammock outdoor bar you got the grill here i’m not going to take that off cuz it’s been raining outdoor seating area fire pit and then finally we have our second golf feature which is a massive turf short game facility this thing is legitimately huge there’s like two bunkers to hit out of which is fun bunch of different pin placements also kind of rad there’s like three different tea boxes around the property like back in the trees and stuff uh so we’re going to go show you guys those now first T- box here is like right by the front of the house 30 yard wot oh yeah it’s kind of sick those greens like actually check up a little bit too t-box numero dose here is up on the front porch i’m going long green’s a little wet everything’s skipping a little bit more than it usually does and then the final tea box is kind of tucked back here in the woods uh you got to keep it like underneath these trees get a little bit tricky the amount of games and challenges you can do in a short game facility like this are endless so in order to get the full experience at every Airbnb there’s going to be a different challenge but a little twist I’m not going to be the one doing the challenge and she doesn’t know it yet but my wife Maggie behind the camera is going to be the one doing the challenge what am I doing forgot to tell you guys the real reason I’m going to all these Airbnbs a few months ago I tried to put up a golf simulator in my apartment living room but my wife said no no she jokingly said that if I hit 250,000 subscribers she’ll let me keep it and you guys took that personally lord willing it won’t be long until I hit 250K and that simulator is back up so I’m taking my wife to these Airbnbs to show her how fun it can be to have a golf feature in your house she’ll be giving every place a fun score at the end of each tour now let’s get back to the challenge the challenge for this place here since we’re at the birdie house you have to make a birdie from the far tea box at the back of the the property we’re going to be playing to the middle pin it’s a par three so you’ve got two shots you got to hit it on and put it in okay to make a birdie and you have 10 tries to do it if you complete the challenge you get to choose where we go to dinner so just another day for me yes unfortunately you ready for the challenge ready let’s ride let’s go maggie was off to a hot start almost birdieing her first attempt she then hit a little cold streak on attempts number two three and four right but attempt number five was a different story oh come on oh and after hitting her shot on attempt number six in the exact same spot she knew what she had to do same putt not enough not enough not enough go go go go go let’s go here we go for dinner Maggie chose a Vietnamese noodle place where you sit on the floor instead of chairs interesting my back was hurting a little bit but the food was amazing after dinner I played on the golf simulator until around midnight probably could have gone all night but ended up going to bed because we had to get up early the next morning and drive to our next Airbnb in Asheville North Carolina behind me there is a 14,000 ft Airbnb it sleeps 26 people my entire subscriber count could probably fit in this Airbnb there is literally a room for everything you can possibly imagine and on top of that some pretty sweet golf features we got a lot of Airbnb to show you let’s go check it out wow this place is huge this house is so big i’m going to start all the way at the left side of the house and then we’re going to work our way down to the right side living room number one bathroom number one dining room one kitchen not one but two fridges dining room number two bathroom number two bedroom number one with two king beds sun room give him a little Give him a little point out Max check that out oh big ceilings pool room sitting room check this out this like decanter for whiskey is shaped like a golf club it’s got a golf ball in there pretty sick now we’re going upstairs upstairs sitting room bedroom number two bedroom number three bathroom number three bedroom number four bathroom number four with a built-in fireplace bathroom number five another bedroom laundry room secret playroom wo hold up this is the master bedroom behind me might be the largest bedroom that I’ve ever seen i definitely know where I’m going to be sleeping tonight let’s check it out wo to my right here we have a full coffee bar and then to my left here we walk on into the bathroom that tub is incredible and then you’ve also got a separate shower a full bathroom just for your to what it’s a heat lamp we got the skylight up here a little natural lighting come on i’ve never seen this in a bedroom but a full-blown like studio makeup room 12 people to do makeup at the same time i don’t know if that’s necessary but I love every minute of it now let’s head into the main foyer uh we’ve got a little sitting area here where you can drink your coffee in the morning if that seating area didn’t tickle your fancy there is a full another seating area over here with a couch and then you have a full-blown sun room complete with two swinging chairs a TV multiple couches and oh what’s that the one fireplace in your bedroom wasn’t enough there’s a full another fireplace out here ladies and gentlemen that is two fireplaces in one bedroom that’s crazy and we’re not even done guys we’re not even done keep it coming come on as we come back into the main area of the bedroom here you obviously have the bed you’ve got a little writing desk here work desk this might be the best part right here you walk out the back of this room and you have a full-blown balcony that overlooks the valley i mean come on guys this is crazy catch me sipping some coffee in the morning up here now we’re heading downstairs ladies and gentlemen recovery room with a massage chair a sauna a water refill station namaste another bathroom another bedroom entertainment room with a karaoke stage guitars another bedroom another bedroom you guys have probably already noticed this but pretty much in every room there’s some sort of subtle golf memorabilia maybe they’re insinuating that there’s a little golf course on the other side of this property i don’t know foreshadowing maybe another bathroom another living room built-in arcade game gym front porch seating area outdoor kitchen a pool perfect for holding water right next to the driveway it looks like a normal tool shed but when you walk in it’s a little speak easy whiskey room with a massive flat screen turf lawn to overlook the scenery outdoor porch with sunken fire pit stargazing room not one but two hot tubs jungle gym guys bad news next on the tour was supposed to be the golf stuff but as you can see it’s pouring down rain so that’s going to have to wait till tomorrow maggie’s also got her challenge tomorrow cut to tomorrow morning guys let’s go toward the rest of this Airbnb just on the other side of this driveway is a full another building with some pretty fun stuff in there we got a basketball court Dwinsky pickle ball court poker table arcade games ski ball oh mini basketball did I go in nice giant darts foo ball shuffle board mini bowling movie theater oh and the first golf feature of the tour built-in Uniore [Music] simulator the simulator system is a Uniore overhead system really really nice that’s like top-of-the-line system they have it all set up with the laptop over here they’ve got clubs for you they’ve got balls also right behind it you’ve got like a little lounge area hang out here people are hitting people are playing foosball and then coming outside here we’ve got the main event the full-blown par three course there’s three different tea boxes three different greens you can literally mix it up match it up make like a 9-hole course you probably make like an 18hole course and then flip around honestly one of my favorite details they’ve got this M’s scoreboard here all of the tea boxes are turf tea boxes as well as the greens and then each tea box has these yardage markers that tells you how far uh the close green the middle green and the furthest green are away from you each of these greens is like a little bit different this one’s got a bunker in the front it’s got a little water hazard around it not very big though i will say this is like a tough green to hit you’ve got this little turf walkway here as well which is nice green number two a little bit bigger slopes from back to front putt test we’ll show you the green number three we’ve got a little rock feature there on the left side a little bunker feature in the back maggie’s challenge is to land a golf ball on every single green from the furthest tea box she has unlimited tries but we have to check out at 10:00 a.m and it’s currently 9:30 i gave her a quick chipping lesson on the simulator and she got right to work shot number one maggie got off to a little bit of a slow start but it didn’t take long for her to find a groove oh yeah oh come on oh yeah go come on bang bang one down let’s go one green down two more to go she hit the first one pretty quick but the second was a little bit more difficult since the green was further away she had to swing harder which caused her to hit the ball all over the place oh yikes go okay but just when she started losing hope this happened yes bro come on no no no no no that’s good it’s good it’s good let’s go wow it felt pretty the final green was going to be her toughest test yet and we quickly realized that Maggie couldn’t get enough height and spin on the ball to stop it on the green time was running out and after about 30 swings she threw in the white [Music] flag but I wasn’t mad cuz I get to choose where we go to lunch so we hopped in the car and headed to the airport made a little pit stop at Chick-fil-A also had to grab some gas dang this truck’s going to cost a fortune to fill up luckily I have the Upside app which grabbing gas we headed to the airport and hopped on a flight to Ohio chilci Chilikoff not really sure how to say it but this is the Karen Creek cabin it’s comfy it’s cozy it’s quiet it’s quaint i know you’re probably thinking Josh it does not look like there is a golf course or any golf feature anywhere near here and you would be wrong about that we’ll get to the whole golf thing let’s take a [Music] tour wow the living room welcome to the kitchen the downstairs bathroom bathroes i’m a big fan of bathroes downstairs bedroom laundry room staircase maybe a little bit of a hazard for people who aren’t athletic yo Maggie actually seriously be careful coming up those stairs though upstairs bathroom bedroom number two office/sitting room master bedroom and then probably the coolest part of this entire Airbnb you’ve got a balcony off the back porch i will be right back here tomorrow morning sipping a little gel outdoor patio with a fire pit another outdoor fire pit area hot tub this looks just like a normal bar but it rotates so you can enjoy the bar in the hot tub this is the carport with fully customized golf cart which brings us to the golf course we’re going to hop in this bad boy it’s about a 20 second drive up the street a little bit we’re at hole number one here of a full private 9-hole golf course literally have this entire place to yourself if you’re staying at the Airbnb this is special this might be like one of the most special properties on all of Airbnb there’s basically one fairway and one green and then nine different tea boxes all around the property kind of tucked back into these woods two par fives a bunch of par 3’s some par 4s going to show you guys every square inch of this place and then Maggie’s got her final challenge which might be her hardest one yet let’s do this thing t boxes are looking super clean we’re teeing off on hole number one it is a 310 yard par4 pretty much a straight shot just right down the pipe i got five wood in hand okay we’ve got exactly 100 yards out these fairways are pristine legitimately like super well-kept golf course which is insane uh the guy Jeremy who owns this place works so hard on it and uh does a really good job how’s that yeah so this technically isn’t my first time here i was actually here last year around this time and literally fell in love with this place so when I was researching for this video to do Airbnbs I felt like it would be dumb to leave this out so that was just one of the holes there’s now eight other tea boxes placed all around this property so we’re literally going to go to every single tea box just to show you guys i get an idea of the entire property let’s do it hole number two this is actually a par five we’re like all the way on the back of the property it’s a blind shot i think that should be money t- box number three it’s a par three 200 yds it’s on the right side of the fairway so we got the little creek in front of us and then you kind of got to hit a shot like around these trees almost so I’ve got a five iron in hand get up oh got right through the trees oh no oh yeah hole number four a 243 yard par4 kind of straight away so last hole was really hard this one’s like somewhat easy that should be good just to the right of it t- box number five this is a short par three it’s only 90 yards i got 60° in hand be the number i think my favorite part about this place is the attention to detail on the course every tea box has a ball cleaner there are custom scorecards the tea markers are potatoes the course is called Spud Run so that’s why they’re potatoes there’s a welcome sign and mascot when you show up to the property and even a fancy custom flag for the pen this is T- box number six uh the second par five on this course this is a brand new T- box we are way back in the trees it’s a hard dog like right you have no option but to hit this ball straight uh onto the end of the fairway and then hit your second shot up which is probably about 200 yards out also a very intimidating T-shot this thing is super tight also where Maggie is going to have to complete her final challenge t- box number seven this is probably my favorite T- box at the course it’s a par three it’s about 100 yards straight downhill be a little bit right of it this is T- box number eight it’s a par4 little dog leg right you kind of got to hit like an iron or a hybrid out there oh baby that should be chef’s kiss that was stupid this is tea box number nine also doubles as the hack shack which is the halfway house there’s like a bunch of memorabilia everybody that comes and plays here they bring a license plate from where they’re from fun finishing hole we got 55 yds go oh Maggie’s challenge is to hit the fairway from the hardest T- box on the course she’s got to carry the ball 200 yards and she’s got 10 tries let’s do it also I just have my same grip is that right yeah yeah same grip is like every other club yeah okay that’s pretty good right that’s a good start i feel I’m not mad at that no i was surprised at how well Maggie was hitting the driver oh she made really solid contact her first three shots her next three not so much oh no no little bit too much tilt back but she selforrected and started to figure something out oh and on her ninth swing not counting the one where she missed the ball she did this oh baby let’s go maggie did indeed hit the fairway here’s
