Anyone have any idea as to whether this might have actually been a ball from POTUS 44? Found this ProV1X in a gopher hole about 8 inches from where my ball landed.

    Obama definitely plays a good amount of golf, if you found this on a course where he played somewhat recently that could be one of his balls. Feels like you would know if you were playing a course where Obama is known to play though. If not, it’s probably a promo ball, or maybe something given to Obama’s staffers or something like that.

    I think Obama was known to play military courses like Andrews AFB when he was in office. I’m sure he has access to much better courses, but I recall him playing base courses a lot because they were easier to secure for his visit.

    I would try to find a way to send him the ball, a postage-paid return envelope, and a note asking him to sign it for you. My guess is that you might get the ball and a little note sent back to you.

    They track presidential travel. You could probably check that to see if he was ever in the area.

    Another possible explanation is that some dude fished it out the river and sold it as used golfballs. Then some weekend hack bought it and sliced into the woods to be found by a bro who sliced their top flight. But either way, it has a good chance actually originally being from Obama. Could of course just be someone trying to copy as well (but what are the odds there’s people that bored)

    Can confirm that’s the exact ball he plays. I played a round at The Floridian the same day he did and found one. I’ll see if I can dig up my picture.
