the middle it just sticks out a little bit if you’re younger it probably won’t stick out that much that’s okay his thumb and his pinky are both just normal they’re open right they’re not closed off like this or anything but they’re also absolutely not flared okay he doesn’t flare the glove there’s nothing wrong with that the thing that’s wrong is when you start curling in don’t curl in it doesn’t really help his fingers 1 2 3 those fingers are all rolled in just a little bit everything is pretty dang standard the way he closes the glove is honestly pretty goofy in my opinion uh that’s my biggest question mark on this glove I’m very curious to see what it feels like out on the field one hinge all the way up let me show you with a pocket that didn’t really me time so like there is a beautiful pocket right here but rather than kind of closing where the thumb comes to the ring finger or so you know like that it closes just like one across okay so interesting the reason it’s weird is if you go two in the pinky you typically close kind of like this like even so to go two in the pinky and close one hinge unique for sure so that’s going to be a huge question mark going into defense speaking of which go to the field I got to show you something really quick this is the 1724 this glove was made by Wilson strictly to be worn two in the pinky with your finger out so like two were using 11in gloves that is wild how many times have you missed a ball where you go oh if I had one more quarter inch I would have caught that ball versus how many times have you made a play where you’re like wow if my glove is slightly smaller I would have made that play I don’t think that happens I don’t think that happens I mean this pattern of this glove significantly more like sturdy uh and like kind of like stiffer and more durable than that one yeah I mean just that 1inch Breakin feels so extreme I can totally feel that like I can feel that it’s a 1inch Breakin I guess that’s not very ground breaking I’m swapping with you I’m going to test you I’m going to ask you for your opinion after this all right so think about it think about it while using it think about it this glove is so much softer okay now 82000 are typically a little more stiffer than an a2k but like a lot softer this glove feels so much more effortless so we’ll see yeah but this thing just absolute butter let’s get Justin’s take the one hinge makes it like a much tighter pocket around the ball it’s not nearly as comfortable as that glove the thumb we’ve talked about the thumb doesn’t that thumb feel bad feels so stiff we’ve broken in a handful of these for the bog of King break-ins and we’ve noticed the thumb feels awkward on all of them we got to take some ground balls really figure this out doing a glove sucks I was a little bold it was a bold start to go backhand glove flip from that far okay bad flip bad flip I’m not going to lie so like obviously I only did two flips but they feel really ugly coming out I’m going to force myself to glove flip for a little bit oh get there that was money that was money yeah I I keep soaring them once I get like an actual clean one down like to you I’m going to move [Music] on all right we’ll call that sorry it was kind of bad still moving on to the 1724 this thing has money glove flips let’s see if I can actually accurately show that okay that was like a money ball that was just like super easy but set up it was effortless okay I think that’s a great example I caught that on the palm and still was able to drop it and roll it out of the glove yes we’re kind of goofing and just having fun but if I’m able to goof have fun and flip a ball around that is evidence that it is a cleaner smoother better glove for glove flip for glove flips yes very big fan let’s go a couple more oh that flip was like catch here and then just dump like that a one hopper no okay I haven’t mastered the behind the back glove flip yet it’s a lot harder you think about doing it sounds easy try it not that easy back to this let’s take a couple more try to avenge it nothing crazy I’m not going to force glove flips let’s just turn some double plays I wish you could have seen that up close that was only my pinky just flinging that ball a man I do really like it but it’s stiff and [Music] awkward I almost took my thumb out do you want to uh receive a couple just transfers yeah yeah I think it’s better for transfers transfers not going to lie cuz like there’s one pocket in here versus like a bowl on that boom okay pretty sure this feels money for transfers to finish this off take some with the other glove see where we’re at that was funny it only took one to like to like already tell yeah like that ball transferred into like my thumb and you know index finger there’s just more room for [Music] air your feeds that have been money also money transfers but that one that was awkward was it also an awkward transfer Josh join us just to be clear guys this is the preferred it double plays preferred it specifically GL flips preferred it also small thing back hands absolutely prefer this and then this wasn’t horrible in any category but it absolutely did win the transfer category the pocket on this thing is way more precise so transfer just felt money cuz it just felt like no matter what my hand was going straight to this spot right here here’s the difference this glove ultimately has one pocket right here if you’re not actually closing it you can feel the ground ball right here as as well that does make sense but this pocket is this giant Bowl so that’s why Everything feels money backhands it’s just like you have so much leather to use to catch the ball and then flips just fly out of this thing right where you want it to but um a little bit of wiggle room creates you know a little of mess up on transfers So that’s its like biggest flaw I think if you know this is the kind of glove you want you know you want one hinge you want one precise pocket a
