hi Patrick Harrington here and we’re unboxing today Real YouTube stuff This h I’ve only ever seen the prototypes of these I helped with these These are the new Super Speed Golf Speed Sticks Pro Uh so a few innovative ideas in here A few I’ve given and I and and a few bit more that’s a little bit more engineered and sciency I suppose Uh let me have a a look here Why don’t we just focus on the nice pictures of me Anyway here we go Uh obviously they’ve done a lot here in terms of the aesthetics They they it’s a beautiful looking set Uh we’ve got three different ones here We’ve basically got a light a medium and heavy in here H Let me pull out the the light one to start off with So what’s actually changed Okay they’ve done a number of things here to make this uh go faster basically which is what we really want It’s a bit more aerodynamic tip on it You’ve got a different shaft in here which creates a little bit more flex at the tip which will help you feel the release Won’t just go a little bit faster will actually help you feel that release So that’s that’s good And then they’ve changed the grip So we’ve got two things going on with the grip It’s a little thicker a grip which we kind of starting to see that a little thicker grips give allows you put a little bit more force on on the club But this also has two different textures which will change your pressure point on your grip So it’s got two different textures going on here which will help where you put your pressure in your grip So again should help with more force during your swing Uh I suppose you know I’m going to take out all three here So you got your your three different sticks which is it’s very handy you know you you you you basically a lot of this is you you get on the app you test out what your personal bests are you know get a PRG or monitor And then the app when you fill in certain details on the app it will help you guide you what you should be doing in training But what you’re really looking for is to get PRs right PBS I should say personal bests So you’re looking at this and you’re going it could be you could get a personal best one day with the light you could get personal best You know you never quite know where you are on this power output c speed power output So some days you’ll be fast with the light club some days you’ll be fast with the heavy club The main thing is if you keep on the app and you keep recording you’ll you will have gains over time Uh sometimes you plateau and this is what the app is for It will help you get through that So what they put into this other innovations in this for most of your home you’re just going to use the three sticks Very simple But if you’re on the road like me sometimes you’d like to be able to I bring my speed sticks with me and sometimes just like everybody else I don’t want to be bringing too many clubs with me I don’t want to have too much weight So they have developed this inertia matching system So a little added bonus here So essentially this has two two things going on So they’ve given you a set of weights here Okay So this will help you when you go on the app If you plug in the actual driver you’re using it will tell you exactly which weight you should put in the three different ones So the idea is you’re going to have a light medium and heavy Technically if you’re an engineer that’s basically you’re going to have an MOI 20 to 25% less an MOI of maybe 8% less and an MOI of maybe 8% more That’s if you’re into the science For the rest of us you’re going to have a light medium and heavy and the app will show you what to do or you can just stick with these normal ones if you don’t want to fill in that detail But on the road then you can just bring one of them with you So if I take the the medium one I can take the weight out like so Just simply remove the weight So you can take the weight out Now that becomes a light speed stick and I can go all the way up and put look I should be very detailed and put put that in there and I can go all the way up That’s light I can put it that one back in It will be its normal medium And then I can put this heavy one in Now I’m on the road and all I’ve brought is three three weights that will change that MOI to work as a light medium and heavy stick Now for a few swings it up there And the whole idea is we’re trying to get you to swing faster by breaking down inhibitions The big problem in golf is we’d like to swing athletically We’d like to swing powerfully and fast but we’re afraid where the golf ball’s going to go When you’re dealing with the super speed sticks you don’t have a problem with that You’re not worried about ball flight So you can go faster and faster Psychologically you can break down barriers It’s giving you different weights to do it to encourage that different level of of really you’re trying to hit your central nervous system and encourage you to to get new records which will transfer then over to the golf course The big key here is you don’t have the golf ball so you don’t have the fear of a miss And that is a big part Golfers are paralyzed by that fear of where’s the golf ball going So we’re trying to get your speed up So when you go to the golf course yeah you’re going to swing harder but hopefully you’re going to swing psychologically harder without you even noticing And that is the big key here We’re trying to get your speeds up without you thinking about it Uh and this is ideal for that because there’s no fear where the golf ball’s going to go
