hey guys welcome back to Modern golf I hope you’re having a great day and better week if you are brand new here to the channel uh we normally discuss golf stuff from shoes and apparel to equipment and golf bags and really Tech and everything in between now this year a lot more practice stuff which we’re excited about but today we’re talking about uh golf apparel and I if you don’t know me personally which a number of you probably don’t uh I’m very particular on what I wear how it fits all that good stuff I am one to will pick up a simple Polo from a brand and go get it tailored the certain way I want it to fit I’m just that guy so last year uh end of summer beginning of fall I ran into a guy at a country club and he was wearing a brand that I had never heard of called flag and Anthem and so he said oh I love this love the fits love checking out so I went on their website uh picked up a couple pieces and been wearing really four pieces all the time and these two polos this quarter zip and I have some denim on and I just kind of want to go over but I wanted to kind of go over these these number of pieces and what I like and and really if we don’t like anything so let’s talk sizing first so I have about a 42in chest we’ve just discussed this in the past this is a large these are larges my jeans I think are 33 or 32in waist we’ll get into that as we go so they run very I would say true to size if a little if a smidge um on the small side but not small like where I can’t wear it but like trim which I love so let’s pick on the quarter zip first and why do I like this quarter zip versus others so one I am a stickler too I have to have uh my sleeves on the tighter side I can’t wear especially golfing sleeves that come over I don’t know who’s got wrists this big um but I need something that has tighter wrists than does it I also am a huge fan I pull back of I like a kind of a waistband to a hoodie it kind of helps uh create that illusion uh that I’m in good shape I’m a shaped but not in good shape um where I have more of a v let’s say um I also love this material it is ridiculously super soft and stretchy so this to me is an easy home run love it uh if I could buy this in 25 different colors this is probably what I would wear all the time between work uh and golf love this love the way this fits and I’ll do a quick spin around here uh not a ton of logos not overly flashy again really enjoy um their quarter zip so let’s talk about this one I’m going to walk around and I’ll put pictures of it you guys get a better idea of this this shirt let me turn my light here so you guys can actually see it so this actually has little stars and little blue dots on it I saw this actually at the PGA show it was so funny because I already had owned this shirt and love it I’m a big fan of a threepiece placket so the three button I call it um and if you can look in there you can see even the button detail they have a little red to kind of match the aesthetic of the shirt super stretchy this is called their maid Flex I believe it’s called made Flex yeah made Flex material love this very good looking shirt I’m a guy I love this and I also show you guys real quick here they have this very cool rubber patch as their logo so I really really like that one fits great and I’ll put pictures up of this as well and then I also picked up last year this camo and I love this gray camo it’s cuz I’ve worn this with navy and black it looks fantastic I think the only thing that I really don’t I would say don’t love is the red detail in here it’s a little weird um they should have just done black thread but but really really like this and again what I love about the detail on here again is the reflective logo very cool love the way these fit split hem here for these for the guys who don’t want to wear these tucked in but of kind of a cool little camo print so those are the polos and then we’ll talk about jeans and you probably can’t see me so I’ll go around and I’ll put pictures up but I think denim for a lot of guys is very difficult to get and to find something you really like and that last so I’ve worn these maybe maybe 20 times um and I’ll put the information up of of the colorway and all that good stuff so really really like flag anthem have enjoyed their pieces I hope to get more oh and then I also ordered a hat a few weeks ago so I figured when I was doing the review it would all match their hat is great um love the details one of the things I like about flag and Anthem is I’m a golfer right but I don’t um go by I’m just a golfer I love clothing I love fashion uh I really like all those things and so for me flag and Anthem was a place that kind of can do it all so if you’re looking the shop for yourself or a gift a flag anthem has some neat kind of options I’m going to work on trying to get us a discount code so by time hopefully uh this video goes out uh you’ll be able to get a nice discount if you want to give them a shot I really like it again this is one of my favorite pieces I’ve had in years absolutely love it if this comes in different colors uh I will certainly be ordering more because I love this I mean I I think anyone who has flagging Anthem and you wear this stuff it is so good buttery soft super stretchy great for going out great for athleisure great to go golf really everything in between so anyway if you get a chance check out flag and Anthem again one of our favorite Brands uh in 2025 and hopefully we’ll kind of develop a good relationship where we can get out pieces and do some contest
