In Portland

Offering complete facilities amidst the beauty of Crystal Springs Lake and Rhododendron Garden, Eastmoreland Golf Course is the closest course to downtown Portland and is one of Golf Digest‘s top public picks.

Outside the City

The home of the 2003 U.S. Women’s Open, Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is a farmland-set pairing of public and private courses that offers stunning landscapes and a pure golf experience just 20 miles northwest of Portland. Open to the public, its par-71 Ghost Creek course is reminiscent of some of the world’s best courses in Great Britain.

Located 25 minutes southwest of Portland in the rolling farmland of Washington County is The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club. Over the years, its two 18-hole championship courses have hosted plenty of pros, who rave over its expertly maintained greens — and the Dungeness crab cakes at the Vintage Room Restaurant.

Langdon Farms Golf Club, an 18-hole public beauty just 30 minutes south of downtown, is well-maintained with wide fairways and rolling hills — not particularly challenging, but an ideal environment for enjoying golf as Mark Twain described it: “a good walk spoiled.”

Fall provides spectacular conditions for duffers at the 27-hole golf course at The Resort at The Mountain, located in the Salmon River Valley of the Mt. Hood National Forest. Its Pine Cone Nine course is the oldest in the region, while Thistle Nine is the best for beginners. Foxglove Nine is narrow and challenging, but all are easy to walk and enjoy.

Rose City Golf Course

With 18 holes and a historic clubhouse, this green oasis in the middle of Northeast Portland is a great escape from the bustle of the city.

Colwood Golf Center

Colwood Golf Center is a sports complex in Northeast Portland offering a par-3 golf course, a driving range, a footgolf course, a snack bar and a spacious clubhouse.

Eagle Landing Golf Course

Atop Mount Scott, this 27-hole par 3 course offers stunning views of the Cascade Mountain Range and Willamette Valley. This public course has a clubhouse, miniature golf and the area’s first soccer golf course.

Stone Creek Golf Club

This 18-hole course highlights the area’s natural beauty. Between the farmlands of Oregon City and a nature preserve, it boasts spectacular views of Mount Hood, old-growth fir trees, and a 1.75 mi walking trail surrounding the course.

Camas Meadows Golf Club

Camas Meadows is 18 hole public golf course placed adjacent to Lacamas Lake amid preserved wetlands and the beautiful towering evergreens of Southwest Washington.
