some of the early movers out there this is Andy Sullivan your front flag at the first today sullivan down the hill beautifully done yeah that looks good line was a masterass from Lagrin yesterday that round of 68 he has proved to be a superb win player and that is perfect yeah look at the trees the wind is still blowing out there it is sure to be a fascinating day at this historic tournament the KLM Open this is the young South African Jaden Schaer at the first of the par 3s there are five of them here at the International it’s a threequarter back swing and he never really gets to horizontal Shaper still plenty of power and that is an absolute cracker maybe not too bad there fourth shot for Pierre Pino so at least they found the ball but this is awkward well below the level of this green oh it’s a tremendous shot he can get away with a five here he’ll be delighted there hasn’t been a birdie on this hole yet today that’s how tricky it is oh and maybe this is going to be the first one that is the best we’ve seen by Richie Ramsey pino at four hold on oh it it did hold on it’s quite miraculous well he had that bad bounce didn’t he back at the second so maybe that’s a that’s a bit of justice oh that does even it out trust me that was going in the water there that was right over to four and Pino after that very fortunate bounce i tell you what that is a shot oh my goodness me that’s a golf shot back towards the water full tilt fly it all the way and nearly spin it in that’s a five net three i love that i so enjoyed that golf shot now we saw Lindell get this all wrong just 10 minutes ago what’s Connor got for us pace looks better line also oh there you go it wasn’t so difficult after all that’s a move isn’t it that’s a significant move from Connor Sim yeah within one of the lead now this is a good opportunity to find a birdie three yes good angle David isn’t it uh yeah he’s taking advantage of that well done brilliant tapping 197 yds leaporta likes to move it right to left that’s his natural shape so our favor’s a little drawn on this occasion just perfect i tell you what Connor could have gone for the low option but he’s opting for the higher route which is fine just looking to land it in that yard onto the green try and play for that release shot nicely played Mark on on playing with the club on the way back there yep lovely lovely position flew the green at four he’s got a good line he should fancy this this is not difficult yeah tidy very good indeed [Applause] chance for the Frenchman to move four under thank you very [Applause] much oliver Lindell is taking this on at six he got the driver well this is something a little different oh off the rocks criy that was an interesting one wasn’t it catsawa on the ninth and he pops it in well done that’s a tremendous birdie coming off the bogey on the par five pin up the right hand side would hope to be left of this pin and he is [Applause] ideal wet sand sometimes not the easiest to judge things out of but this is quite a marvelous shot from the Swede almost a grind at times isn’t it but it’s been fascinating watching the players shaping shots playing with their trajectory here’s Roto we talked about and that’ll do nicely resp that’s what it beat the pros about oh well this time it does find the bottom of the cup zenotei nice purposeful stride bring a smile to his face trying to remember the last time we actually saw somebody on the top tier and not coming back down and there we go forgen the heart of the upcoming challenger gentlemen to Zenotei remember he’s birded 13 and 14 here he is at the 15th par five his third shot and he may well make it three in a row downs slope just knocking the ball out of the wind for Pino and this is going to get better oh it’s a stunning second connor sign trying to join Raid under par from the left and it’s tracking it can’t possibly [Applause] miss he uh started well then had a one or two hiccups but this is for birdie at 13 that’ll do nicely oh just nearly came back round and looked at him but that is Oh it made the 4-in drop and a super little chip in for Leap Porter now this is is it possible just land this short of the green and let it bumble up downwind out of the rough and front edge is well played this from Richie who’s going to be delighted and they’ll be tapping that one in surely for his birdie three glove off looking for a little extra touch in the fingers and he might have found it that was a wonderful golf shot with a long iron into 18 250 yds to go he’s trying to get rid of some of that lag in the swing but evidence that it’s still there but this is an absolute cracker what a way to finish a very long day maybe just pop that one in find the eagle three two iron look don’t see those very often should be no more than a seven iron unplug unplug unplug heading for a bunker by the sound of it oh but that’s a good break isn’t it just over the bunker and getting better and better and better for Connor Sim well you need a bit of luck don’t you well you do but he was brave we’ve seen many shy away down the left hand side he went straight at it ramsey found the left rough off the tea so had to lay it up to here he’s trying to shape this in from right to left i fancy he’s done well sullivan yeah pretty much equidistant either side of the hole there so work to do for both of them trying to chunk and run it it’s wonderful it really is as in said sort of soggy sand and back towards the corner of the water as well that’s a great golf shot especially at the end of the day when you’re tired you’re weary and he’s got that for the best round of the day of any player on the golf course it’s been a stellar performance it’d be a huge boost wouldn’t it be a massive boost if he made it [Music] well it will be a a guaranteed birdie for getting back to level par for his day so round of 71 it is for Lar Grim and there’s no shame in that on a day like today it’s good playing wants to be about 9 in past the cup if it misses use the entirety of the hole oh well done sir punches the air and why not yeah we learned a lot about him last year didn’t he when he needed to finish third in his last event to keep his playing rights and did that got a lot of heart a lot of spirit yeah great finish birdies at 17 and 18 it is the low round of the day for Connor Sim not a single drop shot out there today that’s hugely impressive and it does give him that twoshot advantage heading into Sunday trying to win for the first time on the DP World Tour Connor very well done an eagle three birdies and absolutely no drop shots just how impressed are you with your performance yeah so so so good buzzing with that to be fair um yeah it was obviously a bonus to finish with a couple um towards the end as well but yeah overall really really pleased you played incredible in tough conditions yesterday and you backed that up with another strong performance today you just looked like you’re really enjoying yourself out out there what’s been the difference this week um I I felt like I played a little bit better um certainly last week I just haven’t been scoring all that great and uh yeah just nice to start off obviously the week with a great round and then yeah obviously yesterday was really tricky and then today was I knew it was going to be a bit of a battle but um yeah just sticking with it i think golf’s so difficult and uh sometimes you’re going to have to ride the ride the waves of it a little bit and I was going through a bit of a you know not not scoring great but this week’s been better the smile on your face after the 17 T- shots said it were all due a bit of luck but to end on two straight Bies how much confidence does that give you ahead of tomorrow yeah a lot yeah I think I was saying to Ryan um I got there and I was praying he wasn’t going to say it was a little six cuz it was like the yardage would suggest that it was a little bit of a big seven for me to get there but when he said it was a a good seven I was buzzing and I just didn’t quite get it right the smile was because I thought it was going to go in the bunker but um obviously got lucky that it just just covered a no more um and obviously rolled into a decent distance to make body so yeah it was it was very nice and being neck and neck with Yam in your group at times how much did that stir you up on pretty well um honestly I I really really just tried to focus on my own game and just tried to do the the best I can um obviously there’s a little bit of a gap for for me and Yokum at the moment but I think with the weather tomorrow it could change so much so quickly so um yeah I’m just trying to do the best I can on every shot i know that’s so cliche but that’s that’s my goal you’ve had a 54 lead three times in your career on the DP World Tour so you just seem like in a really good place mentally and physically right now so what can you draw from those experiences that would help you get over the 99 yeah I think obviously I’ve been in the been in the situation a few times now which they’ve all been so different so um you know it’s it’s really really tough to win out here i’ve I’ve obviously put myself in position a few times and tomorrow’s another great opportunity but um I would love to do it obviously and hopefully I can I can play my my game tomorrow and uh and I can do it but we’ll yeah I’ll just be overall I think that’s thinking too far ahead and just trying to bring myself back to you know trying to do one shot at a time and and really just get get that mindset from the start and what will be will be thank you very much
