here’s a few tips to help you make more short putts the first thing you want to do is improve your start line consistency I like to use this plate that has these two marbles that ensures I start the ball online the margin for error is very small so if I hit it offline just a little bit I’ll hit one of the marbles and I know I hit a poor putt if you don’t want to buy this plate it’s simple you can use two T’s create a gate that’s slightly wider than the golf ball and your goal is to putt through the gate without hitting the te this is how you’re going to know you hit a good putt that started the ball online the second step is to put in some reps I like to use the circle drill it does a couple things for you one it helps you understand how to match line and speed because you’re going to have putts that have different brakes you’re going to learn how to read the Putt and be able to match the line you want with the speed you want to make the putt the second thing is it’s going to help build confidence because you’re hitting so many putts when you get on the golf course and you have a three or four-f footer you can get up to it thinking well I’ve made hundreds of these this is nothing so unfortunately there’s no magic tip that’s going to help you make every putt you look look at but with these tips it can help you improve and make a lot more putts than you have been sir
