  1. Im here laughing they ran all their cables to the truck through the chimney πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  2. On that pro circuit I could see Alex being intimidating, scary even – and I'm not talking on the table (his record does that) – but behind the scenes, and especially if he had a few in him.
Back in the real world his reputation and status and all the adoration could get him so far, but once he started playing up… He was a handful put it that way.

No disrespect to the man, he was a huge part of the snooker boom and I love snooker, so I'm a fan.. but I've heard a few old timers – proper hard blokes in their day – talk about having to give Alex a tune up. More than once.

Didn't faze him they said, he'd call in next time he was in town like nothing happened!!

  3. Probably,, had,, side eye, side eye, side eye, a couple of beers…

Code for a litre of vodka and all of lapland

  4. Loved Alex….he visited the club I worked in and I was introduced to him as he got a tour of the facility. I cheekily used an AC/DC line on him, " Hi Alex, how you doin?, get your f****n jumbo jet out of my airport".The look said it all πŸ˜‚

  5. Hurricane Higgins was a legend. Seeing how well he played snooker whilst pissed I'd quite happily sit in the passenger side of his car after watching him down a half a bottle of voddy πŸ˜‚

  6. im Mexican and I wonder if im the only hispanic who loves snooker and knows its history… Steve Davis definitely changed the game to a whole new level.

  7. that was bigest upset of all how he beat steven that night .the other one was when beat davis from 7.nill down in the uk final 83

  8. I use to have a mate who was a pro at our club and one time he was playing Davis in Oldham and one of the lads from the club tripped over a barrier in the audience making a huge racket and Davis just looked over and gave him that look and that's all he said πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
