Came back here to say this! Juan Soto has come to the realization he made a terrible mistake signing with the METS! The energy and camaraderie he had with his Yankee teammates is undeniable… He now knows what the grass isn’t always greener on the other side means …
Soto gave a master class. He stayed with every breaking pitch and fouled them off. He had Gattis psyched out so Gattis had to bring heat that didn't have the same giddyup as it may have had in June. So he could sit fastball.
100% respect Soto here. Ridiculous

Gaddis is no scrub. Soto just makes the AB look insanely easy. The way he keeps fouling off pitches. He controlled the AB the whole way through till he got what he wanted. Gaddis must have thought he got him but Soto had conviction. Belt high, he’s an insane high ball hitter.
