Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

If you enjoy the channel make sure you hit subscribe and also tap the notification bell so that you are always notified when I release a new video.

  1. We're having a few issues with our putting matt that we're getting sorted very soon, so you might see a few wobbles on some putts but we still really wanted to review these putters!

P.S – Keep an eye out for the Spider ZT putter review… coming soon!

  2. You putted better with the LAB!
I also believe that the tech is better in the lab. I have both and the LAB is a no brainer. It does cost more though !! Marginal gains as the British Olympic cycling team won by!

  3. Bought one a couple of months ago. I’ve got about 8 putters and this is the best by far, once you get used to the shaft lean. However I’ve never tried a LAB.

  4. New Tech-
First step is for people to discount the effectiveness and bash it.

Second step is to imitate it.

Third step is for people to say how their imitation is somehow done better than the company who stood behind the tech and product to begin with.

I love my AiOne Doublewide, but my DF3 is hands down my more consistent putter.

  5. lets be honest there is nothing crazy about them being half the price of LAB putters, the LAB putters should be that price to begin with, we are being absolutely ripped off.

  6. They arent the same technology though…. It is a toe up putter. Lab is balanced regardless of where the face points.

  7. Put em in the LAB tester tool and compare. The LAB tech is superior and you get custom fitted for them, so they are perfect for you personally. These are just off the shelf copy cats that don’t have the same attn to detail. I’m sure they are fine for most people, but LAB still does it best.

  8. Rick, you’ve been doing this a long time. I like your reviews but you owe it to your million plus subscribers to explain how Square2Square is Toe Up not Zero Torque so it’s not “perfectly balanced”. The L.A.B is designed for performance while the odyssey is designed to sell as many as possible while spending the least amount to manufacture.

  9. Fun fact they aint nothing like the lab. their not actually balanced more just low torque. the new odyssey and spider zt is a closer match to the lab

  10. Every time Rick looks over his shoulder at the camera after a putt misses left, it makes you wonder:
    a) if he is making a comment on the product or
    b) if he is reading and believing the comments that his putting floor is not level! lol!

  11. Every time Rick looks over his shoulder at the camera after a putt misses left, it makes you wonder:

    b) if he is reading and believing the comments that his putting floor is not level! lol!

  12. Is anybody surprised he misses putts? Plus, saying these putters are similar to LAB is hilariously dumb. Take it with a grain of salt who originally wasnt a fan of LIV golf only to later join them 😂😂😂

  13. Better styles?!?! Ouff. Yeah, DF is hideous but the rest are beautiful. Odyssey looks cheap but it’s subjective I guess.

  14. I love my double wide, I feel so more comfortable standing over putts. Being a mid handicapper I think having my hands in front of the ball helps with my contact and speed.

  15. Is the odyssey customized to the grip weight, lie angle, shaft length, swing weight? Per person? No? Then it’s not the same

  16. I got the Odyssey S2S no. 7 cruiser with the 38” shaft late last week. I’m tall and the 38” is my normal length. Used it for the first time today and I love it.

  17. Are these square to square and lab putters geared more towards golfers with little to no arc in their putting stroke?
