With all of the Callaway Paradym drivers having an opti-fit hosel, the standard Paradym having a 15 gram sliding weight and the Paradym Triple Diamond having moveable 2 and 14 gram weights … we made this video to help you fine tune your Paradym driver so you can gain every yard possible off the tee.
This video runs through exactly how to adjust all of the Callaway Paradym models, as well as the adjustable weights.

today we’re going to look at how to adjust the Callaway Paradigm driver we’ll cover all three models in this video before we start let me give you a quick overview of all the three Paradigm drivers they all share a carbon chassis which offers huge weight saving in comparison to Titanium the AI technology excels in the face of the Paradigm drivers where a lighter gel break is bracing everything almost like a wishbone on the inside the standard Paradigm will fit the broadest range of players it has a 15 G adjustable perimeter weights in a Channel at the back the goal of the weight is to fine-tune trajectory it has about 12 yards of short shape difference between the draw and fade settings and coupled with the optifit huzzle you’ve got a lot of setup options which we’ll of course demonstrate within this video the Paradigm X is a draw bias driver so this driver is great for players looking to reduce their slice draw bias drivers are so popular now that a lot of players just want it built into the driver the Paradigm X doesn’t offer any movable weights it will launch higher than the standard model has a slightly anti-lice bias and is slightly less forgiving than the standard model in respect toi the Paradigm triple diamond is the low spin version of the Paradigm drivers which Callaway say is the exact same as those used on tour there’s no fade or Draw bias in this driver instead it’s a neutral trajectory Beast with two movable 14 and two G weights move the 14 G weight to the front of the head and you’ll get flatter trajectory and lower spin however move the 14 G weight to the back of the head and you’ll raise the trajectory and increase the spin by about 250 RPM while giving the driver a little Moi and forgiveness boost so before we start adjusting drop a like down on this video hit the Subscribe button for more golf equipment Tech videos let’s get adjusting we’ll start by adjusting the Opti fit huzzle as this is common with all the models and gives you access to all the Loft and Li adjustability settings which in turn have the greatest influence on shot shaping so open or loosen the shaft screw in your driver head place the wrench into the top of the screw and turn anticlockwise and to tighten the screw you turn clockwise the screw will make a loud to let you know that the sleeve is safely locked into place before we open the driver let’s look at the markings on the huzzle you’ll see on this standard Paradigm this is a 10 and 1/2 degree driver in a neutral setting So Below the 10 and 1/2 de there’s a little line to show this in between you have the top and the bottom cogs with letters and numbers on the factory default setting is s for stated Loft on the lower Cog in this case is 10 1/ 12° and N for neutral on the upper Cog the Golden Rule while adjusting the optifit huzzle is to have these little lines lined up with your settings at all times so let’s go ahead and open the shaft screw when fully opened the head can easily be removed from the shaft you’ll notice the top and bottom cogs con turn independently of each other and these indicate some of the different Loft and light options you can select for your Paradigm driver with the optifit huzzle you can adjust up to 2° higher and 1° lower then for each Loft you can select an n neutral setting or D draw setting the D for draw setting will make the driver sit slightly upright at add dress now the key to setting up your Ops fit huzzle is to focus on finding your desired Loft first so let’s say I want to hit the driver a little bit higher bring up the spin a little bit and add a little bit of draw bias to it if I want to add one degree of Loft I go to the bottom Cog and I line up with plus one with a little hyen holding that in place with my hands I can now turn the top Cog I now see that I have two options that fit n for neutral and D for draw so if I choose the draw option I line this up with the D reattaching my head to ensure the settings are lined up up with the hyphen then of course tighten the head until you hear her and then you’re good to go if I wanted to flight the ball a little lower and reduce spin I can lower the Loft by 1 degree so once again I would first spin the top Cog until minus one lines up with this hyphen then spin the bottom Cog to choose the neutral or Draw I want neutral in this case again they’ll fit together like a jigsaw and you can putp the head back on make sure the lines match and tighten again the key to your Opti fit huzzle is to choose your Loft first now let’s look at the adjustability within the different models that’ll be the weight track in the standard Paradigm and the two and 14 G weights in the triple diamond in the standard Paradigm model you have a 15 G sliding weight in a track at the back of the crown you can loosen this weight with The Adjustment rents just like this and move it to any position along the rail the default or factory setting in the middle is neutral with the weight Midway in the back in this neutral setting the driver will be its most stable and forgiving however if I slide this way all the way towards the hill you’ll see the draw in the track there this movement of we will have the effect of promoting a drawer or right to left bias on your drives just lock it in wait for the click and Away you go on the other hand if you want move the 15 G weight towards the toe this has the effect of creating a fade or left to right bias so if your drives off the te promote a bit of a hook maybe try this to counteract that and of course you can secure this weight anywhere along the track to make subtle changes to your driver and it must be said that this weight isn’t going to transform your driving game no it’s just to fine-tune not transform the trajectory of your driver it has about 12 yards of shot shaped difference between the draw and fade settings so therefore it is secondary to the optifit huzzle which has a much greater effect on how the driver shapes shots moving on to the Paradigm Triple Diamond now this has two weights a 14 G and a 2 G weight one in the front and one in the back these can be interchanged very easily using the adjustment tool if we loosen both the weights and put the 14 G weight in the front of the head it’s going to lower the spin about 250 RPM yes potentially it will gain you a few more yards but it also makes the club a little bit less stable so it suits the player who can strike out at the middle of the driver more often than not however if the 14 G weight is at the back of the driver head it increases the spin by 250 RPM and makes the driver as stable and forgiving as possible so positioning of this heavy weight is key now with the paradigm having a full carbon chassis and a complete revamp in terms of weight it’s definitely worth having a play around with these different weight settings and draw and fade settings to dial in which one suits you best now if you did find this Great Video!!! I was trying to figure out how to set it to fade.
Great explanation. Very clear, crisp and easy to follow. Thank you!
Good job
What about the x wight?
Thanks very well explained.
good explanation. Thanks
Terrible driver save your money
Really helpful, as buying the TD tomorrow! Cheers.
Very nice job you have addressed things all others have left out. I already own a TD I changed the heavy weight to the back since it was early in the season. As I get my groove back ill reverse it back to the low spin option
Great job.. I was wondering about the draw affect–weight vs hosel. Thanks!
On the triple D, I take it the heavier weight is in the front by default? I'll check when I get home. Great breakdown of the optifit hozel; thank you!
