Kevin Gman’s been throwing the ball very well all season long. He hopes to continue that today here this afternoon. Back to the starting lineup. Josh Low. Great spring training. Hurt the oblique on a hit during opening day and he is now back on this May 15th. And welcome back Josh Low single to start the afternoon. He’s been waiting to do that since opening day. He is a line drive machine. So make Josh two for three at the big league level. Here’s Brandon Laauo swinging a high fly ball to fairly deep right. Does it have enough carry to the wall looking up and this one is long gone. Brandon Laauo loves hitting in Toronto. And two batters in the Rays lead two nothing. A home run for Brandon Laauo. And the Rays jump on Kevin Gosman early. Talk about a helium ball. It went straight up and floated over the right field wall and cleared it by plenty. Low a hit, allow a homer, a loud one, and the Rays are up two nothing here in the first. It’s right-hander Zack Latell here this afternoon making his ninth start of the season, looking for that third win. We talked coming in, he’s been throwing the ball well. Boette leads it off the right way. He’s got a single to start the day for the Blue Jays. So for Vlatty, last 11 games he hasn’t homered, but he’s hitting .357 getting on base a lot and a four pitch walk and the first two are aboard here in the bottom of the first. Well, that’s the last thing you want to see from your starter. and they give you a two nothing lead to give up a single and a walk and all of a sudden Toronto is threatening right out of the shoot. This is popped up in foul territory. Jansen coming over and makes the catch and look at Bette. There was nobody at third base because Camro went to maybe catch the foul ball and the pitcher Latell didn’t cover. So Santandere retired but very smart base running from Bob Bashette. Battel has gotten hitter into four double plays this year. First and third, one out. Pitch to George Springer. Ground ball toward short. Could be two. Walls has it to second one. La relay in time. Double play and the inning is over. Springer hits into his team high seventh double play this year and Latell out of the first with no damage done. Tough start to this inning. A pitcher pitch lined into left center field for a base hit and then a bunt hit by Walls and two are aboard with nobody out. All right, now a golden chance to add on, sir. You got four hits now off Gauin. You’ve got two on. He goes throw to third is not in time. Kavior with his 10th over at third base and Taylor Walls with number six. He’s over at second. Ray’s utilizing the speed and it’s second and third with only one out. And now the infield’s going to come in for Toronto. And you almost have to come through here. Second and third, one out, a 3-1. And Danny Jansen drives at least one in. Here comes Walls and he’s out at the plate. Javier scores. It’s three nothing Rays. But there’s out number two. What a toss from Nathan Lucas. One hops to home plate. Picked up chest high by Kirk who tags walls on the chest to make it a one-run single rather than a two-run single. It is still three nothing Rays on the RBI hit from Danny Jansen. Alejandro Kirk was one of the heroes for the Jays yesterday. His three-run homer. The difference in a 3-1 Jays win. Pitch is lined towards center field coming on. Meisner slides and makes the catch. Cameron Meisner on the turf. Might have got a pretty good rug burn, but he’s able to make the play. And there’s the first out here on the second inning on a liner that knuckled right toward him. I’ll tell you what, that ball was absolutely smoked. That is not an easy play after the big series out in Seattle. The Rays have cooled off Barger so far, 0 for seven in the first two games. Barger hits it high in the air to right field and this one is gone. He got a hanging breaking ball and hits it out to right. His second home run of the season and the Blue Jays are on the board. So much for the over. A sky scraping blast for Addison Barger. His second home run of the season and the Blue Jays are on the board. It’s three to one. Very pleased to be joined live from the end of the Blue Jays dugout. There’s Chris Basset. How are you Chris? Thanks for doing this. Good. Hope you guys are doing well too. Lattell looking to strike out the side after he got Lucas looking and Bette swinging the 2-1 as Guerrero lines one the board left field gone. A blast from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. his fifth of the season and the Blue Jays have homerred in consecutive innings. It’s three-2 for the Rays over Toronto bottom three. I I love where Vlatty is at right now. I watched him take BP today and he’s just driving balls the other way. So I think that’s an easy ball to kind of try to do too much with, but he’s not trying to do too much with anything right now, which makes him really dangerous. The Rays up three to2 and Cameron Meisner who started against Gossman. Got his first RBI since April 23rd in Arizona last night. And that’s hit well to right. And Cameron Meisner joins the home run parade. It’s 4 to2 Rays as he answers Guerrero’s shot. And there’s his second RBI since Arizona. Cameron Meisner with home run number four. And the Rays gain a little bit more separation. They have a two-run lead once again at 4 to2 here in the fourth. First homer on the road for Cameron Meisner aboard the Cameron Drilling. This one down the left field line. Lucas racing over and he’s got it. What a play deep in the corner by Nathan Lucas. Well, I tell you what, the Blue Jays outfield has made some spectacular plays recently. And Lucas, there’s not much room in foul territory over there. You can see it’s a fair ball and he slides to stop his momentum. A terrific play. One gone. Fifth inning, 4-2 Rays in front for Josh Low who just came off the IIL today. He’s one for two with a run scored. And that’s it. Well, to straightaway center field. Josh Low has returned to the Rays. Has hit one out. His first home run. And the Rays have rebuilt the three-run lead. What a return for Josh Low. That was some kind of a sound off that bat nail. And Josh Low has hit his first home run since 2024. He is homered. He has singled. And his latest home run adds to the Rays lead. It’s now a 5-2 ball game in the fifth. Kevin Gosman’s back on the mound. The Rays have hit three home runs today. Brandon Laauo, Cameron Demisner, and Josh Low. Caviiera is a stolen base today. Fake. Grace pulled off a double steel in the air to right center field into the alleyway and avoiding Santandere. Caviierro cruises into second with a double as he and Miles Straw couldn’t get there. A well struck double to the opposite field. His sixth two base hit of the year and action begins in the Toronto bullpen. Jose Caviro moves up to third with two out for Chandler Simpson. This will be up to Chandler Simpson to try to tack on for the Rays. The pitch is lined in a shallow center coming on straw. It’s going to drop in front base hit. Cabayro scores from third. Simpson dunks a single in a center. And the Rays indeed score for a third straight inning. They’re now up 6-2 in the sixth. And it looks like that’s it for Kevin Gosman. So Kevin Gosman will leave after five and two/3. 6-2 Rays. Well, look at this. We’re into the eighth inning and the race starter is still there. Zack Latell seems like he’s even gotten more efficient as the game has gone on. He has. He has gotten into a really good rhythm, a really good groove. The Blue Jays two runs on six hits today. The two runs on solo homers. Lucas with a fly ball to right. Hit pretty well and it’s gone. That’s number three on the season now for Lucas. And it’s a three-run game. Boy, he’s been swinging a mad well. Well, how about Nathan Lucas slowly starting to see that ball better. Slowly starting to take better swings. Third Blue Jays home run today and they’re fighting to stay in it. It’s six-3 for the Rays and that will be all for Zack Latell. A very good outing for him. And Josh Low heads down to second base. Should be a pass ball on Alejandro Kirk. Brandon Laauo who always has hit well in this building at the Rogers Center with one on and one out in the ninth inning in a 6-3 game. And another one to deep center field and he’s got a two homer day. Brandon Laauo goes deep twice and the Rays open it up in the ninth. It is 8-3. Brandon Laauo with his first multih homer game of the season. And that might have put it out of reach. Brandon continues his amazing day. His seventh home run makes it an 83 Rays lead in the ninth. That two-run shot by Brandon Loud that has taken Pete Fairbanks off the mound and got Cole Ser up there. So the Rays are out away from taking the series. Grounded to common. Good throw wins the game and he does and the Rays win the series in Toronto on an 8-3 day where the Rays showed off pretty much everything they can do as a unit.

  1. Glory!!! After so much struggles I now own a new house with an influx of $155,000.00 every month God has kept to his words,my family is happy again everything is finally falling into place. God bless America🇺🇸.

  2. This is one of the many days where this team just sks from top to bottom. The pitcher they were facing was not good at all. Yet the batters go up there without a clue as to how he is pitching to them!!! They STILL watch too many hittable pitches (especially the first pitch) while swinging at low pitches and grounding into double plays!!! This team will finish with about 70 wins. Why does Gausman throw 2 strike pitches right down the middle of the strike zone??

  3. 2 weeks of no Toronto team of any kind winning anything ,,, all this money and they cant produce. if this was a real job they would be fired.

  4. Well, the Jays typically play the Os and Sox competitively but get their backs blown out by the Yanks and the Tuberculosis Team. So at least they're being consistent and not getting worse 🤷

  5. At this rate, Schneider should be calling all his Triple-A pitchers by the end of the month to see who can actually maintain some sort of momentum and improve the Jays' pitching misery.

  6. The jays batting coach is apparently too lazy to tell Santander that maybe he should try to be more aggressive at first picthes. My goodness, pitchers have been throwing him middle-middle freebies and he just let it pass. Then gets behind the count and pitchers work him as please. He also need to be taken down a few notches in the lineup whilst he Figueres whatever is going through his mind out. Adamantly Being the 3rd hitter with such mind blockage is just making it even worse.

  7. Kevin Gausman has been a much better pitcher during his career. Last season the velocity of his fastball dropped. He seems to be declining. Unfortunately, it happens to all players at some point. Ideally when a player declines, a retirement announcement would be the perfect thing to do; but that is hardly the case.
I want to see him keep his dignity.
Madison Bumgarner, Brandon Crawford, just two of many that resisted the inevitable until one was designated for assignment and the other was not signed again.
    Both were amazing players.
Gausman needs to start thinking about retirement.
He has been a favorite pitcher. I would like to see him come to terms with what is happening to him.

  8. 5:39 The white line on the "warning track" didn't get all messed up when the guy slid across it. Is the "warning track" just brick-coloured artificial turf?

  9. This Is Gausman Stinker And They Lost To Tampa Bay Rays 8-3 Final Score. And Welcome Back Josh Lowe From Injured List. And The Toronto Blue Jays Lost The Series To Tampa Bay Rays 2/3 In Toronto. And Toronto Blue Jays Begin A 3-Game Series Against Detroit Tigers On Friday Night.

  10. Painful. Gossman has lost his smoke. It'a like watching one of the coaches throwing balls for batting practice.
