Almost every analyst had him as a top 30 player in terms of rankings. The lowest I saw he was ranked is 44th.
We all know draft analysts get it wrong, but to have a player ranked this high by so many analysts not to go in the first 5 rounds is unprecedented. That's why it's been talked about longer than Ward. He was a forgone conclusion

The Browns had a wretched season because terrible quarterbacking and the loss of Nick Chubb. The team otherwise was fine. The QB and RB depth was atrocious as well. They addressed both issues. They also got more picks. DBs and WRs don't win Super Bowls, defense and quarterbacks do. Trading out of the #2 spot was a good move.

The browns management didn’t seem exited at alll. Almost like it was forced by the higher ups. I think the nfl is colluding to set up sanders to fail. Just like they all colluded to not sign Kaepernick. Something similar will happen. They’re going to throw sanders in with no o line. And then when he fails. , they will say “ see , I told you he’s not good “. This is the era we are in. It’s fake
This is a lesson in how control disguises itself as evaluation. In America talent isn’t threatening, independent minds are. They love Black excellence as long as they can coach it, contain it and control it. America loves Black success as long as it looks like survival. As long as it stays humble, not heavy. As long as it asks for a seat at the table – not build its own table. They’re not afraid of Black talent, they’re afraid of Black awareness. They love Black talent when it sings, when it dances, when it entertains ‘quietly’. Shedeur is good enough but he wasn’t dependent enough. They didn’t know how to handle Black men who didn’t properly ask for permission. The NFL always promotes what they can manage. They’ll always draft submission faster than sovereignty. They’ll always draft what they can manage and black list what they can’t control. Survival stories make them feel charitable, dynasty stories make them feel irrelevant. This country and its majority White men and women voted for a convicted felon, a man with (5) kids from (3) baby mommas, a liar, an elderly Godless individual, draft dodger and a man who bankrupted a casino. The OWNERS of the past and present are threatened by Black men they can’t control. So, they controlled Prime in his son’s face and humbled his son at the same time

Shedeur is going to eventually be a superstar in Cleveland. Will finally hit the jackpot on this one. And even if it doesn’t work out, the return on investment is another first rounder next year and possibly getting a QB in next years class. Plus, the multiple picks we have next year as well. Can’t go wrong with a possible Gabriel being a star as well at QB
