Then Mike 12 please. Hey Luke. Um Luke ju just wondered if you’d had any indication um about when the appeals John Ram and Tier Hatton’s appeals might be heard and is there any sort of ongoing concern from you that those guys might end up not being eligible for the Ryder Cup? I have had zero conversations. You know again that’s that’s a question for Guy Kennings. Um I I do not get involved with the politics um of that. So my my my concentration is to get the best 12 players uh to to New York and you know hopefully uh everyone is eligible. Mike 13 Luke assuming all doors are open and everybody’s eligible. Uh, how do you try to assess these guys like John Rahm and Tier Hatton and Sergio Garcia knowing what they’re capable of doing in the RDER Cup but not being up in the points with everybody else or maybe is competitive in the points to to automatically qualify? How do you assess what they’re capable of and and making those choices when the time comes? Well, first and foremost, data data and analytics. We we do have pretty in-depth data even on on the guys on live. Um and so we can track we we know exactly how they’re playing, you know, and then obviously the the majors are important. I think uh that’s the time when everyone gets together and on good golf courses and you have stacked fields and um just to see how they’re playing in those is is another another point that uh we we take into consideration quite a lot. and and also knowing how uh intense the atmosphere is likely to be at Beth Page, how important will it be having guys who’ve been in that cauldron before uh over more rookies? Yeah, I I I think I will certainly give a little bit more of a importance to uh experience people who have been able to handle those big moments uh under the the the most scrutiny, you know, those major championships, people who can step up um you know, have had chances to win or have won major championships. You know, I think uh it’s something I will definitely consider and it will be uh something that uh could give someone an edge if if they’re on a very similar playing field in terms of statistics. Alex, right here, Luke, um you said your part of your job is to put together the best team. Um, and I know you said also that you’re not involved in the process in regards to Terrell or Sergio or John, but does that mean you wouldn’t advocate for them if the pro if the process went there against them? Well, I would love for them to be eligible, but again, I’m not I’m not involved in that process. That is not my my role. Um, I I’ll leave that up to Guy. Um, and uh I think he can answer that one better than me. So, just just to confirm, so you You do believe that your role is to get the best team together, but yet you’re wouldn’t be willing to advocate for those guys if they weren’t eligible. Well, I think Guy knows that I want my best 12. Let’s let’s put it that way. I haven’t talked to him about that. Over to mic five and then mic two. Luke, sorry. Over. Of your 12, how many would you say are locked in currently? And as part of that, John Ram was asked yesterday if he’s basically been given a nod and a wink to say that you’re in one way or the other, but you deferred that question to you. So, um, yeah. Um, well, I haven’t given anyone a nod. Um, you know, I think it’s a little bit too early for that. Uh, again, I have we have very in-depth stats. We we know exactly how these players are playing. uh we have a great idea of where they stack up against each other um and against the US. Um but I I certainly I think it’s a little too early to be giving anyone like firm assurances right now. We have three majors, you know, elevated events, you know, plenty of other events, Rolex events, um, to play and, um, you know, I want them to go out and and go out and feel like they go and earn it, you know, and, uh, you know, that’s that’s going to play play well. But again, we do have a lot of stats. Uh, in terms of John, you know, um, he’s one of the best players in the world and um, I would I would expect him to to be on that team, but I certainly haven’t given him those insuranceances. He needs to still keep going and playing and just like everyone else. Um, that’s again, no insuranceances have been given right now. No insuranceances have been given right now. Adam. Uh, Luke over here to your right. Somewhat somewhat related to that. Do you watch live golf to to see how those guys are playing? I I I tune in now and again. Yep. Absolutely. H Are the majors more important for those guys than on on the PJ tour because you have a little less sample size or less data for for the LI players? I think majors are important for everyone. Um um but that that’s it’s important for me the majors because uh you know I personally I don’t I don’t see you know the the John’s the Turles Sergios etc as much these days. So in terms of just talking with them and and and seeing them face to face like that’s important for me. Luke, is there anything you learned about Sept Straa at the 23 Rder Cup that gave
