Can I BREAK 90 on a Bucketlist Golf Course?
The bucket list series is back with a bang. Worpool’s done golf club people. Number 31 in England. I am looking around here and I am beyond excited. This could potentially be the nicest golf course I have ever played. Today is all about the vibes. Don’t worry too much about the score. Let’s just have a good time. Enjoy it. Strap in. 18 holes for yours truly. Let’s see what we can shoot. [Music] out the bottom, but down the middle she goes. I would snap anyone’s arm off for that. We nearly missed the golf ball. 101 yards to go. That’s tough one. You don’t want to come up short on the first. You don’t want to come up short, but I really don’t want to go too long. Oh, Dennis, it was going so well, wasn’t it? It was just going that little bit too well. That looks better. Sit soft. Stop rolling. Stop rolling. Oh, that was lovely. I think it rolled on a bit though. Okay, this is not the put you want on this whole downhill slippery one. Didn’t move as much to the left as I thought, but yeah, pace was good. Ladies and gentlemen, we now line our puts up. Um, I played one round doing it and it made a hell of a difference. Two put two put gang bogey on the first. We’ll take that. It’s normally a double or triple on the first. So, I’m happy with this. If we can go around this course. Tough track playing bogey golf. Wow. The handicap is going southbound. Come on. On to hole two. Right. Hole number two, par four up the hill. Fairly straight away. Bit of a tricky T-shot. It’s blind and the trees kind of coming on the right side. So, we’ll do our best to avoid those. Oh, it’s going left. I don’t know what that looks like up there, but I’m assuming that is left of the fairway. Right, people? It’s not ideal whatsoever. We’ve not gone very far at all. Downhill lie, 170 yards. That just grabbed the club face. At least our lie is okay. That’s the one saving grace. We’ve got 104 yards to the front of the green. I just need to carry the front really. So 56 would be a little bit dangerous. I’ve got gap wedge. Not if you chunk it. Oh, we got a nice bounce. Should be on. Should be on the green there. Not the not our prettiest swings, but uh we managed to give ourselves a parut, I think. Tough put now. Up the hill right to left. Just need to lag it in there really. See it? See it? Is that lagput? I don’t think so. We’ve got about 3 ft to save us a bogey. Working for these bogeies. Good put bad read. El Dublé on the scorecard. Hole number two double and we are three over through two. Not too bad. Not too bad at all. Yes, people. I’m pleased to say that today’s video is sponsored. Get a zoom on that by Red Tiger rangefinders. In particular, the C001 7 times magnification, LCD screen for clarity and all lighting. And then you’ve got all the things that you need. Slope compensation, golf flag locking, Amazon best seller. I think it’s like number two most sold range finder on Amazon. So check out the link in my bio for the Amazon affiliate link. It supports the channel. It supports Red Tiger. Most of all, it should hopefully save you some pennies. And Father’s Day is around the corner. So what better gift either for your dad, granddad, or maybe even to the misses. Drop a little hint. Grab yourself a red tag rangefinder. Okay, we move to hole number three, par four. Slight dog leg to the right. Bunkers guarding the fairway. What you see is what you get. I’m hitting driver. That is perfect. Oh, we have got a little bit of wind off the left. Oh, that is not perfect at all. We are We are so blocked out by a tree there. Oh, well, it’s the first drive that we got above sort of 40 ft. So that’s a win, isn’t it? Yeah. Unfortunately, people just needed to be a lot further left. Yeah. Yeah, I’ll take that. It’s these shots a lot of the times I mess up. So, we need to focus on these little chip outs because I think we’ll be out of position a lot today. It’s a tight little course this one. So, howling into wind. I’ve got [Music] 56. Yep. Yep. Yep. Oh, she nipped on me. She actually nipped on me. So, we’ve got a bit of a put to go, but that was a nice shot. Little low nippy one. I’ll take that. This is the thing with courses like this is the greens are going to be a lot trickier than what we’re used to. Oh, it’s lovely speed. Moved a bit more than I thought. Absolutely no excuse when we line it up. Another bogey. Stressfree bogeies. Keep them coming, my son. Four over through three. We’re operating okay today. It’s normally It’s normally out the gate that I am spraying it. So, we’re in good shape here. 157. The red tiger is telling me 157 uphill is going to be a seven iron, isn’t it? Eight iron doesn’t have a chance. Eight iron doesn’t stand a chance getting there. What a swing that is. That might be massive. Oh, it’s good. It’s good. Little baby draw green greed in regulation. I called it. I called it. Come on. Come on. If we can just just whatever that was, just bottle it up for this round, we’ll be in good shape. That was pured. That, ladies and gentlemen, was a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought maybe we’re on the front, but we are right up here. I’m reading this from both sides. People, we’re getting serious on this channel now. No more stupid three puts from birdie putts. I think it’s pretty flat. Oh, these greens are quick. That was a bit of an uphill putt and uh I really tapped that. In for the par. The first par on hole four. Not bad, is it? Is it? It’s not bad. Oh, look at that flag. We love a good flag on this channel. First par on the scorecard. Green in regulation. Two put. Easy game. Easy game. Oh, I really don’t know what to hit on this hole. Let’s start the fly over and then you’ll know what I mean. Hole five is a par4 and it’s a dog leg right. But unfortunately, all these trees on the right of the tea box just come right into play for anyone even remotely trying to hit a draw. and just don’t trust myself trying to hit a fade off the tea. So, what I might have to do is hit something a little bit safer like a 3-wood. Um, and just have a long ways in a little toe draw. Oh, do you know what? It stopped short of the bunker. Yeah, that start line was just a little bit too far right. Almost missed the ball out the turn. We’ll take it. Listen, like I said, we’re playing for a bogey from here. So hopefully it’s a good line to heav. Okay, our eye is okay. Cameraman, get a zooi on the on the ball. It’s not too bad. So, I’ve got the green light to go for the green, which I actually wasn’t necessarily expecting. And if we’re in the bunker, then no chance. The bunkers here are just absolutely devilish. So, we’ll do our best to avoid them all day. Bit of a towy hit. It’s rolling. So, I’m hoping we’re out of heather. Yeah, suppose tough tough out of there. We took our chance. Hopefully, we avoided the trouble before the green is a massive false front and the pin is right to the front. So, my original plan was again that kind of low skippy 56, but I feel like we have to fly this to the hole. So, I had a 56. I’m going to switch to a lob wedge. Um, and this is going to be more of a more of a full swing to be honest. Be good. What a shot that is. Oh, this game. What a game golf is when when you feel like you’ve got it. It’s just there’s nothing like it. Slightly down the way. Slightly down the hill. I think it’s moving to my left as well. Wow. Yeah. Speedy, speedy, speedy, speedy. It’s not a bad put though. We actually moved the other way. the opposite way to where I thought. Confidence. A new found confidence within 5 ft, that’s for sure. Wow, that’s a big bogey. Tough hole there. And as you saw, out of position off the tea. What a what an approach with the lob wedge. If I can keep two putting, I feel like if if alone I just keep two putting all day, it’s probably could end up being my best ever round of golf. You never know. Yeah. Right. Hole number six. Our first par five of the day. Not the longest, so it’s scorable. Dog leg to the left. And it’s seems like it’s all downhill after the T-OT. So a good drive is rewarded. Big high draw. That is exactly the shot shape I wanted to see. Big bounce. I hope the line isn’t too aggressive. Oh, that was a good T- shot. I cannot hit driver any better. So hopefully we didn’t run through the fairway there. I don’t think I’ve ever been this close on a second shot on a par five. So I am well out of my comfort zone right now. We’ve got 183 yards to the front. It’s downhill. 192 to the back. I’ve got six iron because I feel like with it being downhill, it’s probably playing a lot shorter. So, if we can get on the edge, give us an eagle put, we’ll be laughing, right? It’s all about execution now. Oh, I’ve hooked it off the planet left. Okay. Oh, no. No eagle put today, people. No eagle put, but we are close to the green, I’ll tell you that. Okay, guys. Um, it’s not pretty down here. You do not want to miss down here, but it could be worse. Release. Release. A It’s a birdie putup, but it’s uh it’s not a close one, ladies and gentlemen. You You just never know. You just never know what might happen. Unlikely birdie chance. I think I had the [Music] line and I hit it through the pace. Hit it straight through the brake. Birdieport from an eagle chance to a three-port bogey. Oh dear. We move. We move. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, par three coming up on the seventh. 164 yards to the middle of the green. We’ve got 176 to the back, but only 142 to the front. So, I’ve got a seven iron in hand. Not that power draw. Okay, guys. What you see is what you get. I’ve got 60°. Let’s see if we can get up and down. pulled it a hair, but I think that should be money for distance. I do not mind this one bit. It’s actually closer than I thought it would [Applause] be. In for the bogey. In for the bogey. Oh, to say I missed the green. I suppose I think what it is is that put was was makeable, wasn’t it? That’s the difference is I need to start making the one puts. Right, hole number eight, par four. Not too long. Downhill slightly moving to the left. Bit low on the face, but that will work. Lovely. skipping over the bunker. Thank god. One yard to the left and that’s in the bunker. But that is that’s one of those shots where I will not take that back one bit. We got away with it. You have to wonder if I hit it well downhill, we would really not be far off driving this one. We’ve got about 100 yards to the flag. I’ve got 56 in my hand. Fly bounce left. Oh yes. Come on. Stop rolling. Just about held the green there. I tell you what, I’m glad we’re not up. I don’t know if you can see on camera. It’s literally the biggest crazy golf hill to my right ever. So is also going to move slightly to the left. Oh, bad read. Great put. Lovely put for speed again. Oh, these knee knockers. E, I just can’t I just cannot get away from these knee knockers. But I think to a tap in didn’t have much left in it, did it? Well, that’s a par. That’s a good two foot. Two foot train is back in business. Hole number nine. Par four dog that to the right. Suits my eye this one. I’ve got five wood. I’m picturing a nice little draw of the trees on the right. Oh, we didn’t want to pull it. Not on this hole. Sit soft. Oh, we’re in the bunker. Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no, no. Unfortunately, this is now a get out situation. The lip is way too high to attack the green. So, yeah, I’ll take that. I’ll take that. We actually advanced it quite a bit there, so I will not grumble at that. Okay, 113 yards to the pin. It’s at the back of the green. That needs to go. It’s a bit fat. Oh, short. Yeah, fat. Oh, you hate to see that. Came up with just short of the green. Yeah, I am putting it. I hit that so bad. Awful put. Awful. Do it. But much better on that second one. And it is a double. Oh, you hate to see them on the scorecard. Especially the way we’re playing. I feel like we were in a bit of a groove. But it is the double unfortunately inevitable. Look at that over my shoulder. Par three over water. This could This could go very right or very wrong. We make the turn. Nine over. I’ll say no more about that. Um par three coming up now. Over water. Stunning hole. pitching wedge is the weapon of choice because I do not like the look of a downhill put if I fly the pin. Zoom, zoom, zoom. Oh, what a shot. Stop rolling down. We’ll take that. Maybe nine iron would have been absolutely perfect, but that was on the flag. On the flag. Listen, no complaints from me. Green in reg. Okay people, what a put. What a shot. That was another green in regulation. A par three. Let’s put a good stroke on this. Give oursel a nice stress-free look for for the paring, wasn’t it? Yeah. It was always tough up that slope. I was about to hit that without lining it up. We need to make this a regimented thing because it’s definitely helping. Wow. Another par. Another par. Nine over through 10 holes, ladies and gentlemen. Uncharted waters. We are wading through uncharted waters. Okay, hole 11 is a par five. This is a bit of a tricky one. It’s uphill. Probably the second half of the hole. And it is long. 520 yards to the green. Driver in hand. Toe bang drop kick. I will take that every day of the week. That may be the ugliest swing I’ll make all day, but it’s one one I will be happily taking. Just rolled into a left rough here. It’s not the worst place to be. Got slightly too far to go for it in one. So, safe play. Yep. Pretty good. Pretty good. We’ll take it. Okay, we’ve got 20 yards left to the flag. We’ve got gap wedge. I’m looking to just land this about 110 and then I think because the greens are quite firm, we’re getting a little bit of release. though. Oh, toe push into the bunker. Stop short. I think we’re alive. Cameraman probably got a better zoom than me, but I think we’re just held up. All right, my least favorite shot in golf. The bump and run. What’s in it? I just I don’t know what it is. Like even that that would have been thin and fat. That was behind the ball. That was behind the ball. I don’t know. I just the bump and run. We just don’t get on. I kind of wish I took loft then. I think it’s fairly flat. Let’s give it a good roll. Get there. I am just I’m feel like I’m starting to jab at the putt sometimes. Like I can feel myself sort of pulling back on the follow through. Yeah, good two put. Keep the head down. Two things we’re learning today. Keep the head down and let’s make sure we keep marking the ball up because it’s it’s an astounding difference we’re making. We’re two putting almost every hole right now. Number 12 par five again. Back to back par fives. I’ve got driver. went into win this time. Let’s see what we can do here. Oh, that is money. Just stop drawing. Oh, I think that’s perfect. That’s the drive of the day, people. Come on. On a par five as well. We love to see it. I’ve never really I mean you can tell I’m starting to hit driver better because I’m starting to look at par fives then getting on in two. We’ve got 200 yards into this one. I’ve got seven wood in hand. Oh, it’s left. Sit soft. Oh, ladies and gents, I’ll take that. I’ll take that. The ball’s disappeared. So hopefully it set up okay. But we just missed the left side of the green. I’ll take that one. Okay, people. It’s actually a really good lie. Honestly, it’s sat up in the rough. I’ve got gap wedge. This tends to not check up too much. So, I feel like if I can just launch it, it will just run down to the hole. A bit like that. A bit like that. Do it. What a chip. What a chip that was. Oh my god. For the first time on this channel, I can confidently say stressfree tapping birdie. We have come a long way, people. We have come a long way. That is just a hold that I’ve never really experienced before. to hit driver as far as I did. Fairway found really good approach and then the fact that I can now start to slowly rely on wedges in my hands. Green side. That’s a birdie. And that takes us back under 10 over. Nine over through 12 holes of golf at Whartles by the way. Wow. Wow. Look at this people. Hole 13. Stunning par three. Yeah, I don’t I don’t even think I need to talk through this one. It’s just absolutely beautiful. I’ve got eight iron pin is right at the back. 150 yards it’s playing. So, let’s see what I can do. Oh, pushed it. That means it’s going to be bunker travel. Yeah. Oh, it was a really good strike. Just pushed it a hair. I was probably too aggressive. What am I? I had no business going for that pin. Tucked away on the right. You had all the space to the left, center of the green. Oh dear. Not my favorite place to be is the bunker. Knifed it. Okay. Don’t be afraid of the sand. Same again. Don’t be afraid of the sand. Yeah, much better. Second time lucky. Do it. You dog. Such a good pop. Great read. And it’s a bogey. Deserved more. I think that bunker shot did us. Right. Hole number 14 is a par4. friendlyish looking one. Left is dead. Looks like there’s a bit more space on the right, but it’s one of the wider fairways I’ve seen today. 372 y. It’s not the longest. Come on. Good drive. Lovely. Lovely. Oh, it’s literally on the stripe, people. We have got this thing on a rope right now. And when drivers work, I just feel so dangerous. Oh, that is position A. We’ve got a wedge in our hand, people. Let’s not mess this up. Let’s do everything in our power to not mess this up. This could be a big big bounce back after that double. Okay, people. Not quite a wedge in my hand. We’ve got 138 to the middle. I’ve got nine because I think wind is slightly hurting. It’s not my best hit, but it should be there or thereabouts. Yeah, a bit fat. I say a bit probably an inch or so far. So, we might be short of the green there. Quite a bit short. Embarrassingly short to be honest. We’re here in this sort of false front bit. We’ve got like a 35 yard chip. I don’t trust my bump and run. So, I’ve got 56. Oh, that was picked. Very nice. Stop. Yeah, I’ll take that all day long. All day long. I think straight up the hill, people. Here we [Music] go. Close but no cigar. In for the stressfree bogey. I’m not too unhappy about that. Keep rocking the bogeies up to the final hole. I’ll take that every day. Right, hole number 15 is a par five. Dog leg to the right. Lovely looking hole. But I’ll tell you what, this tea box is crazy. We’re literally we’re in the bushes here. You have to hit a call. You have to hit it straight. Um, so that’s why I’ve put my driver away because that is one club I definitely cannot cut on demand. I’ve got my 3-wood, which is more of a straight ball flight usually. Open up the stance a little bit. Encourage it to start cutting. Perfect. Oh my god, it actually worked, people. Middle of the fairway hopefully. That was literally exactly what I wanted to do. Not very often it happens, but when it does, my god, doesn’t it make you feel like Tiger Woods? Come on, the boy. What is going on today? What is going on today? I am playing so good. It’s about time to be honest. Right, the P five aren’t that long here. We can actually go at this one as well. We’ve got 230 230 to the flag. I’ve got five wood. [Music] People are blind, but people literally just nearly hit us off the tea. Right, let’s get this out the way. Fivewood. A overdrawing. Sit soft. Like before, it’s a par five, so we’re in a good spot down there. It was worth a go. Oh dear, look at that. I don’t even know if I can get underneath that. Oh no, we are in trouble. Very unlucky. Very unlucky lie. Anyway, let’s see what we can do to escape out of this. I’m going to have to just kind of chop down into this. Chop down and then hopefully it pops cuz I don’t think I can get underneath it otherwise. Yeah, that unfortunately is probably the best I could do there. just guided it and just didn’t commit at all. Yeah, we’re putting that. Oh, that’s what I don’t want to do is backto back errors like that. Go. Oh, I think I had the line as well. Honestly, putting with an putting with an alignment is crazy different. What a two put. Let’s go. Big bogey. Okay, guys. Hole 16. Par 3. 156 yds. Straight up the hill. Two massive bunkers short. You do not want to be short on this hole. It’s flaring. It’s flaring. Oh, that’s going to be nasty up on that hill. I’m not enjoying how much heather I’m interacting with these last two holes. It really does grab your club face. Okay, 56. Yeah, sit soft. Sit soft. Oh, what a shot. What a shot. Really good look for par there. I think we’re well within 10 ft. I reckon 6 ft, maybe seven. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah, did not see it snapping that much. But here’s a bogey. When you play, when you’re hitting the ball, okay, bogey golf feels so easy. It feels like a bogey is just a given if you’re not playing stupid shots and you’re not duffing every shot. It feels like anything less than a bogey or worse than a bogey is just like an absolute head loss. Right, hole number 17, par 4 slightly goes towards the left. Bunker’s got in the right side of the fairway. So set up so nicely for a drawer of the golf ball. Okay. Come on. Sit soft. Oh, might be in the left rough there. Just overdrawing. Okay, it’s not the heather, but it is a juicy rough. 153 to the middle. This could come out as a bit of a flyer. So, I’ve gone for a tie in. Oh, that is the worst place I could have fit it. Oh, it’s not so bad. It’s bad enough to be okay. Club face must have been so open because that is straight at the green. We move. Oh dear. This is This is a dicey one here. Oh boy. Okay, you know exactly what I’m trying to say, Chief here. Something like that. Say stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop soft stop. Stop. Oh. Oh, I just rode off the back. Should have cleaned my grooves. I think they’re not the cleanest grooves in the world. Okay. Right off the edge of the green here. It’s a nice little fringe here. So, we won’t grumble too much. Oh, what a put for speed. In fact, no, what a put in general, I didn’t see it swinging that much. Never said before on this channel that I quite quite fancy myself with a put in this neona territory. So, come on. Confidence. Oh dear. Over. That was actually quite a good port. That’s where I was aiming anyway. Over it by miles. I think from 4 ft I shouldn’t really have it outside the hole really, should I? Unless it’s like on the side of a cliff. Yeah, that’s on me. Okay, here we go. Hole number 18. Par four. It’s a tough one actually. Tough finishing hole. Straight down the hill. I think the T-shot is relatively blind. And then after that, the clubhouse and everything in all its splendor is revealed. So, we’ll look forward to that one. We need to hit a big drive here. It’s a long hole. Oh my god, that’s beautiful. Absolutely striped. Oh, why did it kick right? It was drawing, but it kicked right. I’m hoping that’s still fairway. But my god, if I could draw up a t-shirt on this hole, that was it. is I cannot wait to put some chases on these on the some of the T- shots today. I’ve been so good off the tea today. So so good. Right, sixiron into wind. Come on, Dennis. I mean, be the number for me. What a golf shot. Get a zoom on that. Get a zoom on that. Golf shot of the day. Are we having that? Are we having a bit of that? Oh man. Birdie put on the last. Let’s go. I mean, you couldn’t have drawn this up any better for me to have a birdie put on the last. [Music] Oo. Oo, I don’t like that. Don’t like that one bit. Just a little question being asked here on the last. Can he sack up and make a put? Pulled it. Pulled it. And it’s still not in. It’s still not in. Three foot bogey on the last. But wow. 17 over par is my best round in an eternity. I I don’t think I’ve broke 20 over for god literally what feels like forever. So, wow. Thank you guys so much for watching. Hopefully I can keep this form trending because I think today we’re really really close. We still have some out there. Thank you very much to Chris and the team here at Whipples for having me out. Make sure you check this course out. It’s just so special. I can’t wait to come back already. Make sure you like and subscribe. Until next time, people. See you on the next one.

I’ve had 2 of those rangefinders.. left them both on buggies at different courses. Magnets are a dangerous game 😂
Solid round in the books Dennis!
Man the driver is making a huge difference! And the bump and run. You played freaking incredible!
Love the round you put together but your math isnt adding up correctly.
Your game is good but have a putting lesson. That is where you are losing so many shots?
I mean you've been playing long enough now to get your index under19. With all the expensive club's and courses your playing you should be more ambitious
Great round Dennis, maybe work on your putting a bit more then you’ll see your scores drop, well played 👏👏
Superb! The driver is working sooo well.
Great round Dennis! Congrats!
I didn’t subscribe to watch you play good golf , I’m out.
Driver on fire! Well done man some great golf played here😁 how much did it cost to play here?
Tough course, good solid round, what would your handicap be there Dennis?
What a round mate – driver was on fire
That bump and run, at that range just putt with a lofted club. No thoughts of hitting down on the ball, or after the ball.
Red Tiger range finder? Wadda playa!
Nice birdie on 12 Dennis!
Great content!
The tracer for the flying carpet turf on hole one had me creasing😂
Dennis that is so dangerously good! You were so consistent today it was a delight to watch on a very daunting course!
Driver is hot Cmon 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Not saying I didnt enjoy your other videos lol but I enjoyed seeing the consistency. Nice work!
Bogey Golf turning into a proper golf channel. Stephen will have to bring his A game to beat you.
Great to see the improvement in your game mate.
Little tip for your bump and run shots. Try with your shaft more straight rather than angled, more like a putter. Hope it helps 🤞
bump and run bro go toe down and putter stroke when ur that close … great vlog m8
Love to see this, bro. May have to rename the channel!
Well played Dennis
Fantastic Dennis. Nice to have more great shots than mishits. Steady improvement.
You are munching that driver Dennis!! What a track !!
What a course and what a round.
On fire off the tee and some fantastic approach shots.
Really enjoyable.
Worplesdon across the road from West Hill isn't it so many good courses in that area
Masterful, driving young man. Massive improvement tempo hitting golf shots D.
Cheers
