SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The world’s number one-ranked player, Scottie Scheffler, won again, repeating as the champion at the Memorial.

Scheffler wins for the third time in five weeks and the third time in his last four starts. Scheffler won’t compete in the Canadian Open next week, but at the U.S. Open in two weeks would you take Scheffler to win or the field?

That’s the question posed to Bob Casper on this week’s edition of Talkin’ Golf.

It is also clear, in retrospect, that Scheffler’s injury opened the door for Rory McIlroy to win three times, claim the Masters, and complete the Grand Slam.

At the time, it looked as if Rory could be set up for a tremendous year, but instead, Scheffler has started to dominate.
