DETROIT – Excitement is starting to build as preparations begin for the 2025 Rocket Classic at the Detroit Golf Club.
The tournament is set for June 25-29, as it is one of Detroit’s most exciting sporting events, especially since the purse will be $9,600,000.
It’s that special time of year when the crews perfect the greens, hospitality suites take shape, and all the details are fine-tuned to welcome the 2025 Rocket Classic.
As the home of two legendary golf courses designed by acclaimed architect Donald Ross, the Detroit Golf Club continues to enhance its golf pedigree over the last 126 years, having welcomed celebrated golf pros and tournaments throughout the years.
As the 2025 season is in full swing at the Detroit Golf Club, its members have welcomed Bruce Pruitt, Chief Operating Officer & General Manager.
Pruitt held the same leadership role at Diablo Country Club in California, where he managed a master plan renovation.
Similarly, he will oversee the restoration of the Detroit Golf Club’s North Course, as outlined in the Golf Course Master Plan, which is set to begin immediately after this year’s Rocket Classic.
