Looked like there was some available and call for a taxi to get over to this great golf course. It was recommended. The outside of this golf course pulling in is pretty welcoming, but you can miss it very quickly. It’s got pretty unique clubhouse uh that’s very open but also pretty small. So we decided to walk in and see if we can get a tea time. How are you? See if there’s any availabilities for one golfer. Uh 1240 on the main course. Okay. You got a seven whole course um for 1210 if you want to go earlier. It’s five par fours, two part threes on it. Uh what’s the price difference? And so it’s 1250 for As we inch closer to 100 golf episodes, we hit a great one here. Newand’s Golf Club. So, let’s take a look. New Lands Golf Course. Let’s give it a try. The golfers at this course are members. And right off the bat, you can see from the inside of the clubhouse, there’s a lot to offer. So, zooming on in, the course is located just 20 minutes outside of Dublin, and it’s also just a short walk from that brings you directly into Dublin. So, this could be a friendly golf course to play if you’re looking to play outside of Dublin. So, we walked in, signed up into their guest vlog, and then moved right into number one. And of course, we’ll go through each one of the holes, give a little bit of history of the golf course, tell you of the T times cost, the membership cost, the green fee cost, any cost associated with the golf course. We’re going to go through that. But most importantly, we’re going to ask with this channel, is it worth it? Was the course worth it for the best bang for a buck? And we’ll give it a one out of 10. So without further ado, let’s take a look here at New Land’s Golf Club, founded in 1910. So being over 110 years old, what an [Music] walk right through, not checking in on No Times, we’re going to be lucky just to get out there and play nine. And that’s what we did here. And we played with some great folks along the way. For the most part, this golf video is going to go through the history of the course, the prices at the time of the footage, a little bit of the inside of the clubhouse, and overall feel of what this course has to offer from an independent golf channel. So, most importantly, the course has a lot of history here, at least the club. Malahide Golf Club was founded in 1891. And fortunately because of weather, the original golf course that was extremely a link style course no longer exists. In the 1920s, construction of the course moved back inland to the what you’re seeing today. The full 18 holes of this course was constructed in 1987. That’s what you’re seeing so far. And then a completion of 27 holes at this golf club. Course construction began in 1988 by Eddie Hackett, golf course designer and planning about 45,000. I’m swinging [Music] low if I move the course. Let me tell you, friend, we’d all be playing till the daylight ends. has officially come to an end at BlockClar Rick Yolf Club. Walked in about an hour wait, no tea time. Place packed. It’s going to be a long 18 holes. But right before we dive in to this 18hole golf course that’s only maybe 5 minutes away from 200, 300 euro golf courses like the Island Club. This is a great alternative course that you can play with a golf club that goes further back than the actual golf course just being built in the early9s. This course, the golf club has a ton of history and we’re going to go through all that history. Outside of that, we’re going to walk through each one of these holes. Starting off with number one. First hole, 250. Get a little two iron. See what happens. Block caric. What can you do? The history at this golf course runs deep and interesting. Being built in 1968, from 1968 to 1972, it was known as the homeless golfers. It was inspired by a group of likeminded golfers that formed the homeless golfer association. Wonderful and beautiful thing to see on a public golf course. And they aimed to make golfing more accessible for all. From 1972 to 1992, the Dublin Golf Club was founded by the homeless golfers in 1972 and opened the public golf course. Other courses that were created on this list because the tea time’s not available at that public course that was built. Members here, pay the fee. Why is this game so pricey for me? One thing is true, we made it to Ireland and I am almost finished that first golf course on the list. We’re moving pretty slow out here, but nonetheless, we’re out here getting a course in on the first day on a red eyee. Walking to the course, walking the course. You got to do what you got to do. We wanted to make sure we went to hit a full center just in case there’s a driving range that looked incredible. So, we’ll go through a little bit of the history of this golf course. You can see it’s unique off the bat off Google Maps. Of course, we walked there from the train station. Accessible from Dublin. So, if you’re staying in Dublin, just look at a train map and which one goes down to that area. A line. Now, walking into the course, right off the bat, we notice that this might be a private golf course, just like in America, you got private golf courses, you can’t play. And typically, you would see a sign jumping off the bat like this right here. Private property, you don’t belong here. Even a security check at this point. But my wall is where the pain will show. If I rule the course, you tell your friend, we’d all be playing till the daylight ends. Golf ain’t free, but it’s through a city and we find a golf course so spectacular. There’s a castle located on our way in and out and argue on the golf course. Now, we didn’t get free golf like this last one. You ready? I’m ready. Yep. You want me to be ready? Play. Yeah. Okay. In Hol’s short train ride from Dublin on the Dark Train, you can find yourself at some spectacular golf here at Deer Park Golf Course. Now, there’s a total of one 18hole championship golf course, a 9-hole golf course, which is going to be the focus of this video. We wanted a quick affordable golf course, and that’s what we got here, especially when the weather’s a little iffy. Now, we’ll talk about both those golf courses, go through the history, and then ask, is it worth it on your next trip to Ireland? And we’re looking for only affordable golf. So, let’s stick it in and take a look now through the golf holes at Woodbrook Golf Club. The golf club was established in 1921 by Sir Standy Cockridge and it was his private golf club and was first affiliated with the golfing union of Ireland in 1926. The former putting green, now the chipping area, came into existence in 1932 through the creation of Herbert Philipsson. And it was because it had a large tree in the middle, which came to be known as the Philipsson Folly. And a lot of members at the time didn’t realize that up to 1958. As for the existing clubhouse you’re seeing today, well, that was built in 1958. And the clubhouse is constantly updating and changing like the George Martin room. But most importantly, the course achievements at this golf club headed up for all meant to be. No green fees.
