but when you reflect back on the situation with Anton Ferdinand and only two people know what really went on right you and him um when you reflect back on it what’s your thoughts is it regret is it recrimination is it a sense of unfairness what’s your overriding thought well I think I think it’s a few things and I’ve never really gone into detail about this but I tried to make contact with Anton that evening after the game I tried to make contact with Rio and their agent after the game and I basically got shut down instantly um from all of them so that I think as a I knew Anton we were mates and you know I wasn’t socially but we knew each other we always got on well obviously got on well with Rio we we could have done something that was probably more powerful than what come about in the end and that’s probably that’s probably my disappointment because it’s

  1. It's worth mentioning that Rio Ferdinand called Ashley Cole a choc ice.Plenty of derogatory racism in the game even amongst players of colour…I'd say that Terry should have just come clean about that by now…because everyone knows he said it and all that "something more powerful" nonsense is breathtakingly ignorant.

  2. Add the 9/11 behaviour and his betrayal of a teammate plus his narcissistic act at the Champions League final to this….

  3. Innocent in a court of law and yet the PFA think they know better. Anton is doing it for the fame, no one remembers him as a football player and he wasn’t good enough of a player to even make it as a pundit.

  4. Wow, lovely gaslighting from Terry here. He pretends to be Anton's friend (not socially he says) then implies the three of them could have put on a united front and maybe solved racism by getting together and wiping the slate clean or something. What a horrible bloke he is

  5. If I was a Footballer and a Millionare , couldn't give a fuck about if anyone's racist to me. Yeah I'm black and what .😅😂

  6. All you silly people know nothing he didn’t cheat on his wife he isn’t a racist just the reporters ruining peoples careers and silly people beleive the bull shit that comes out of there mouths if you do your thick

  7. What i don't understand with some English people nowadays is they make a comment which they know is racist yet when people react to it they get all on the defensive when they know they made a mistake with what they said yet they know they aren't racist but they still try to downplay what they said. All I'm saying is even if you make a racist comment if you know within yourself that your not a racist then get on with it and don't make drama out of something that can easily be resolved

  8. Its mad how he's somehow manging to tell the story as if he was the one who was racially abused.

"I tried to contact Anton, Rio, the agent etc etc, and I got shut down"

Who is the common denominator there John?!
Thats the consequences of saying what you said. Just be honest about it and apologise.

  9. As a untied fan ! I think John is misunderstood. I think he’s actually a good guy.! And made a mistake but we have all been there when we are angry I’m sure he didn’t mean it

  10. John terry was a beast of a player as a man he should of come clean about the racist comment .also the stain with wayne bridge his team m8s wife . Pple would of respected him more imp if he was just honest we all f up in life only my opinion

  11. Haha
His disappointment that they could have made something powerful
    What a man😂😂😂
Couldn’t even just I regret it
I wouldn’t want him as a captain of any team
    Weak

  12. It's crazy when you think about it. John Terry was a relatively young adult, and he was taken to criminal court and attacked in the press and football world for effectively and supposedly saying a racial slur, "black cu nt". Thats tame, lmao.
