Si Woo Kim talks after the second round of the PGA Championship 2025 at Quail Hollow
Siwu Kim is with us now at the 107th PJ Championship. We’re going to jump right into questions starting with Juan. So see, first thing, what is start of the round? Not two birdies. And then can you take us through those two and kind of what worked for you today? No. So yeah. Yeah, it was it was I didn’t realize how bad was the mud ball cuz I didn’t hit the fairway much yesterday, but I hit much better driving. So I realized it’s really bad for mud ball. So I I’ve been fighting all all front nine foot with the mud ball and I didn’t get like first two holes. So I didn’t get first to all back nine any mud ball. So kind of get through birdie and then birdie and I had like like longest part three all in one. So that was also no mud bowl. So much easier than 140 mud bowl. Patrick, many congratulations. How does it feel on being a history maker with the longest hole in one in major history? Describe the moment please. I think it was last record was me too because of my kind of similar number royal trune. So that was the longest maybe major history hole in one. So I break it if if if this is the longest holy one. So yeah, I was so exciting. I was kind of like imagination like how how how I’m going to hit it. I’m going to kept trying to like imagination and I hit it right exactly what I wanted. So it was cool and then it was pretty memorable hole in one in major. Quick followup. What club did you hit? I hit fivewood. Fivewood? Yeah. Caught five wood. Okay. And can I ask you about your prospects for the weekend because you’re in a great place right now to go on and potentially win your first major title? Yeah, it’s it’s just still Friday. I I just play good to run, but still a lot of work to do and then especially weekend, it’s going to be more hotter and then more tense. So, I’m just going to try play my golf and then just trying to have fun. So, a couple of quick questions you can answer in Korean, please. So, tell us about your run today. What worked for you? [Music] Can you describe that holy one? I mean, what what do you hit and the feelings of it? So, Perfect. Thank you. Perfect. Thanks, Seeu.
