ASK ECO 2024 VS FOUNDERS CLUB G3

hey how you guys doing out there all of your amateur golfers shopping on Amazon trying to figure out what the difference is between as Echo and the founders Club G3 this is the as Echo 2024 coming in with 14 Pockets at 11 lb and 11 Pockets at 8 lb uh why is there a difference and why is this $225 versus $185 is however I will say that I got this one on Amazon Prime days for $185 is so uh we’re going to find out what the difference is real quick and uh see if there is a value difference for you guys uh we going to start from the bottom up real quick uh this video is going to go fast cuz I know you guys don’t want to spend all day doing this so rubber feet along this molded tray based bottom heavy duty stitching indign of its heavy duty material we have molded feet on the bottom of this uh bag with the lightweight stitching IND dig of its light lightweight material here’s a closeup of the material itself this material is like a luggage style material versus a high quality C or camping or tent material right there the uh the poundage probably comes in significantly when you look at the body or design of this bag here it’s got a solid body on the inside let’s see if I can show that to you yep that’s heavy stuff versus a non-solid body inside the founders Club the founders Club has sorry the sound I have carbon fiber tent Stakes that run the length of the and its perimeter I’m guessing probably about six of them on the inside of there uh those sleeves in there run all the way down to the bottom except for about 3 in along the bottom where the sleeves stop so you can reach your hand in there and grab anything uh people say hey that’d be great if you drop something down in there and you don’t have to tip your bag upside down to shake it out but I don’t really think people are going to be dropping a lot of stuff down in side there but I do think that is pretty neat because if you do get caught in the rain you can open that up to air out your bag so it doesn’t start to smell a little funky now speaking of that right there we do have the as Echo has a welded dry pocket and or welded zipper a welded zipper is a zipper that has a fabric or material that closes in over the top of it uh most of the time it’s going to be rubber like this one now this looks like it’s fabric but it is indeed rubber I know it’s got those uh textures to it it’s also got that rain shield right here with any zipper that’s your major critical failure point right there when it comes to water so it’s really cool uh really deep pocket uh I’m not even coming close to touching the bottom there so it’s definitely capable of fitting a lot of different ve Electronics I would say Rangefinder would easily fit in there now on your Founders club uh it has an attempt at a dry pocket this is also a welded pocket this is a fabric welded pocket however Fabric’s going to saturate over a period of time and eventually will start to weep down inside but most importantly no rain shield over that one uh right there so your water that is going to be a major critical failure point for a dry pocket which is probably why it doesn’t say dry pocket on it um now as interesting as that is the amazing and quality good good quality design on this dry pocket here they did something really weird with this pocket okay so this pocket is a just a old fashion top mounted pocket right here but then they put in this which I don’t quite get that and then they the way it’s facing it’s a rain catch it’s facing up so I don’t I don’t understand but that’s okay we’ll figure that out later six golf te uh spots right there versus right here on the top we have uh golf te’s let’s see five right there um that is one of the main differences right there on those top compartments another thing that’s really uh different is the very large uh accommodating cart strap area for the as Echo uh versus the more narrow cart strap area right there again both of these pouches here lift up uh so that you can put uh the cart strap underneath there but on the back side as well again still small channel right there on either side now I don’t think this is going to be a serious problem but I also don’t have a variety of cart straps or carts to try on these bags uh to to see if those are going to cause an issue uh these carrying straps are really well done this is a little bit thicker than this one but I think the material the quality of the fabric makes up for that difference uh going back to the cart strap and the ways to tie it onto the cart some carts have luggage racks on the back and that’s what these straps right here are for uh on either one of these so if you don’t use the belt style you can go use these and attach it to the back of the cart this is worth of note right here this is considered your 14th pocket on the back of the ass Echo this just has a strap to retain that strap right there so coming around to the front of it once again uh one of the other differences that I noticed is that the uh Radiant Barrier cooler chest right here or or cooler pouch uh with a little bit of foam or something inside or maybe it’s just a little bit thicker material right here on the outside but whatever it is radiant barriers are awesome because they they work really well I mean they’ve been using them for survival blankets space blankets uh insulation in houses and roofs and all that kind of great stuff so radiant barriers are awesome however as EO does not have that Radiant Barrier what they have is like that lunchbox cooler material so probably probably really good probably going to keep your drinks just as cold for just as long I don’t really plan on keeping drinks on either one of these anyways but something I did think was interesting was this quality control right here I would say this quality control anyways maybe it’s just pour design but that’s foam right there and that’s exposed foam so if this gets wet there’s a possibility that this could weep moisture down inside uh in between this barrier down here and then start to smell a little funky as it dries out so something to be cautious of uh maybe if this is your bag maybe seal that up with some some glue or something um this small pouch right here drops down on the inside and with this pouch right here being the size of roughly two fists uh it’s pretty accommodating but that is some of your extra pouches versus this one just has one large pouch still hanging down on the inside right there uh but as you can see that whole pouch is like the size of a mini backpack so kind of cool uh all right so what else the tops we’re going to go to the tops here real quick the as Echo has a really great firm robust handle uh this polymer plastic goes all the way down on the inside right there and loops around with this rubber coating on the outside there versus this is a halfbody polymer with that rubber uh insert that I don’t know how some how it’s attached to the top there but it is U still feels really good feels really sturdy there’s no difference there it’s just a fact that it is a difference is worth noting something else I thought was really interesting your three iron is going to go right here and then your four iron and then it’s going to wrap around like that which I thought was interesting I didn’t know why they’d separate it like this they’re both 14-way dividers but this one your three iron starts there and starts to go around as you guys can see those holes are a little bit closer together my buddy’s going to be bringing over his putter tomorrow and I’ll be inserting that video somewhere in this video but his putter has a uh jumbo siiz grip and according to Amazon all of these channels on either bag can accommodate jumbo siiz grips and I’d like to see that and I figured you guys would too one of the concerns that were brought up with uh this style of bag especially with the the G3 cuz the G3 has a G4 out and what they did differently was they have a the more recessed center right here and they recessed it because of the socks and uh the hybrids coming off apparently I’m not sure how true that is but so I have actual socks as you can see and as it sits down really deep in in there there’s a possibility that people were saying was pushing their socks off I know for a fact that this sock’s not going to come flying off um because it takes a bit to get that sock off um if your sock is a as a Loosely fitted sock like this one and it sits down that could easily come off just as you’re seeing right here hang on why not of course while I’m shooting a video this obviously this hybrid’s not going to sit down in there uh like it should and lock into its place so uh what you got to do is when you put your sock on um if you uh if I were just to drop it down here this top is going to push that sock off and as you can see right there it starts to come off so you’re going to just want to clip that in there if you have socks that you’re concerned about coming off there you go got clipped in there like that now um with the way this is and how secure these are on both bags I would not worry about my socks coming off I would probably just play the game and put my socks back on afterwards so uh because I’d just be clipping them up there and uh they’d be they’d be free from clanging around on each other anyways so at any rate guys I hope you likeed this video I hope it ansers some of the questions that weren’t on all of the other videos that everybody else covered um there’s a really lot of really neat little hidden features like this little handle right here this doesn’t exist on this one over here but not that that’s really important anyways uh but please like And subscribe so as uh more product comes out that needs more reviews I can get it and put it up there for us so we can figure out exactly what we’re spending our money on uh remember it’s really important that while you’re out there you’ve got to relax to play it’s just chilling on top of it oh no oh no it’s not it’s well just barely and it’s pretty good clearance all the around oh yeah catch catching coming up a little bit but you could probably go double
