Ever heard of Davis Riley? He’s not just another name on the PGA Tour. From a small town in Mississippi to competing with the world’s best, this is the inspiring journey of a golfer who turned dreams into reality. Born on December 17th, 1996 in Hattisburg, Mississippi. Davis Riley grew up just 200 yards from Cane Country Club. Golf wasn’t just a game. It was a way of life. After school, he’d head straight to the course, practicing until sunset. His dedication was evident early on, winning the Mississippi State title four consecutive years during high school. Riley’s talent shown brightly in his amateur years. At 17, he shot a remarkable 13 underpar 58. He reached the US Junior Amateur Finals twice, joining legends like Tiger Woods and Jordan Speath. In 2015, USA Today named him the AllUSA boys golf player of the year. He also represented the US in the 2014 Junior Rider Cup and the 2018 Palmer Cup. Choosing the University of Alabama for college, Riley continued to excel. He was a two-time first team all-American and played a pivotal role in collegiate golf. His performance in the 2017 to 18 season earned him recognition as the top collegiate golfer in the nation. In 2019, Riley turned professional, starting on the corn ferry tour. He secured wins at the Panama Championship and TPC San Antonio Championship in 2020. These victories paved the way for his PGA Tour card. In 2023, he clinched his first PGA Tour win at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with partner Nick Hardy. The following year, he won the Charles Schwab Challenge, earning $1.638 $638 million and a restored 1975 Corvette Stingray. Davis Riley’s journey is a testament to passion, perseverance, and dedication.
