Go watch the front nine here at the Ross course over on Carter’s channel. I am five over, Carter’s 10 over. Nine holes remaining at the beautiful Donald Ross course. This place is pure pure one of my favorite places in the world. Absolutely loving my time here. So, make sure to check it out if you’re looking for a little weekend getaway, little golf. But we’re just going to jump straight into it, sir. Let’s tee it high, let it fly. I’m going to tee it low and let it flow. All right, GR. Let’s bring the people what they want, man. That’s right. I’m 10 over and I’m not finishing in double digits. I will not. Birdies will be had. Birdies will be had. par4 here, like 365 from right here. And I’m just going to be aiming over that left bunker. Basically, the only place you can’t hit us in the tall weeds, right? Other than that, good to go. Butter cut. We’ll take it. Nice, man. Ooh, that was effective. Ooh, effective right there. Big D. got to. That was that was a great word. That was effective. I’m start using that effective. There’s a little car um like water path out there. I’m going to go split it. It’s like a one yard target. I’m literally going to hit it right inside of it. Manipulated it, but it might be literally right into those tracks. Perfect. And small miss. Should just be like a smooth flighted 60 from here. That’s what we’re going with. That wasn’t really smooth nor flighted, but it’s hot. Come back. It’s trying to come back. It’s trying. Beautiful, bro. Absolutely love it. It’s beautiful here. Kind of might trade putts with you. Thankfully, there’s still a little moisture. These greens are so pure out here, but they can get quick and you really don’t want to be above the hole, which I am. So, this is a field putt for sure. It’s got some break, a lot of lot of downhill slope. Two putt from here would actually be not bad. Do it. that. No, man. That is so fast. But the one thing on a putt like that that you don’t want to do is leave it short. So, we got it there. That looks so good the whole way. I ain’t giving up, brother. I’m going right after this. Dude, good roll. Thank you. Thought he had it. Thought he had it. Dude, one week my putter is going to heat up. You’ve hit a lot of good putts. I know you were talking about it. It hadn’t been feeling good, but yesterday, even today, been burning them. Burning the edges. Can’t be above the hole. Cannot be above the hole. That’s a bogey for me. Got a lot of holes left. Eight holes left. I wanted to shoot under par today. And currently three over. Same. We can still do it. Absolutely. Still possible. It is possible. Anything’s possible, dude. Why not? That’s the biggest thing is why not? Why not us? 345 par4. I like this par4. If the conditions were firmer, it’s just a perfect little stinger hole. It really is. But I’m going to hit stinger. I say go for it. Okay, let’s see it. So good. Dude, that had to have looked sick on camera for you people at home. That was uh respect, dude. Absolutely pure. That was not good. We got work to do. That we do. That looks good. Great shot. You think so? I think so. All right. Pulled in this bunker over here with an iron off the tee. Not hitting the fairway. It’s not what you’re looking for. I’ve got 135 up the hill. I’m going to go with a nine iron cuz it’s playing pretty good uphill. cut. To be honest, pretty happy with that. I was just kind of aiming middle of the green out of that. We will take it. And ladies and gentlemen, when you’re out on the golf course, you find yourself in a bunker. Make sure to rake it for the people behind you. Take care of the course. It will take care of you. And whenever you’re finishing raking coming out of the bunker, don’t just pull it all the way up to the lip, push it out just like that. That way, if a ball rolls up into the lip, it’s not all just in a pile of sand up there. Dude, I got to start hanging out with you more. You’re going to make me look like such a good person. I’m not. You miss Carter’s reaction in the cart. It was just a roller coaster of emotions wondering if he was close over short in the hole and then he uh five feet. Would you like that out? Yes, sir. You got to Donald Rock. You got to be like, you can hit it close, but you got to have your straight up putt. You do cuz they will uh Donald Ross will make make you think. But you know what? Two good shots. Can’t take them plank. They’re going to fall in when they want to. That’s right. Keep waiting for your pitch. Hold 12 here at the Ros. We got 452 yards. Yes, sir. Um, that’s all we got. I’m four back right now. Four back. Four back. Seven to go. And we dancing, baby. We got to Once again, we’re just going to go after everything. And if the putts fall, they fall. So good. Is that all right? Oh, yeah. It’s a lot further to that stuff than you think. That’s perfect. Left center. Good ball. P. Put a little Put a little 5’7 strength in the water. He goes stinger DOD and just pures them both. Don’t go into the bunker. That was the only place I didn’t want to go. Stay short of it. You think so? I think so. Caught it a little spinny, but I’m having my eyesight is so bad and my airlines receding. Tough right now. Another fairway bunker. Although it is a fairway bunker on another hole. We got 142. Kind of just going to hit a similar distance shot here. And pin’s kind of in the middle of the green. They’re being very kind to us here. So, I’m just going to aim at the middle of the green. That is the shot of the day right there. Shot of the day. Little thumbs up. We’ll rake this bunker and uh hopefully get our first pin slammer. YouTube Zach’s people, I’m sorry. I didn’t wear I took off my sweater and my mic was on my sweater. So, if I was just like rambling in the camera, you couldn’t hear me. That’s on me. That’s on me. All right, we got 147 uphill. Probably playing 155. I’m just going to go full nine iron. I got some adrenaline going. I want to win this thing. She’s going to move left. Number be the number. And we played this one well. I kind of played the easy holes not well. I just kind of messed around all day. Now I’m thinking about it. I had probably like a a fifth of a pound of steak this morning. It was really good. Obviously kind of jacked right now because of that. That went that went latch. Dude, I have got to get smarter for sure. Tap in this parski. All right, Zach. So, that steak that he was talking about, we went over to Mumu’s place is legit. So, if you come here to Frenchlick, make sure get a reservation over at Mumu’s steakhouse. Had the strip last night. No, no, never high enough. All right. I mean, here’s the thing. Those are easy pars on this hole, dude. Dude, trust me. If I had I mean, if I had an easy par in every single hole, I’d be even par right now, which I would take. That’s fair. That’s fair. Take cuz I’m like 10. So, yeah. Par three, 190. Got a little back stop there behind that hole. Um, if you come here and play, we’re kind of just picking and choosing TE’s today that we want to play, but there’s a box back there at about 235, 240. So, yeah, I’m all good on that, champ. Yeah, double digits already. We’ll hit some six irons in here. Yep. I’m uh I’m I’m going to choke up on this little five guy and I’m going to hit uh I’m just going to go right at it. It’s game time. I got to be aggressive at every pin. So, we’re going to do it for the people. Saved it. Go. be there. Yep. Wow. All right. Nearly shanked it. I flipped that at the at impact. Dude, I love doing that. My favorite thing is about to shake it. I just flip it, manipulate. Might need to learn that. Haven’t shanked one in a minute. But it’s not a fun feeling. It’s not a terrible place to be right there, just off the green. But I thought that was going to cut. I thought that was so money. Can get tricky. Allergic to te’s. Probably need to get rid of them. How’s Big T Media been treating you? Dude, they’ve been after me, but you know, we’re fighting the good fight and can’t keep a good man down. You know, I was scared to get on a plane. They overcame my fears. I said I was going to be just fine over here. The more I’m thinking about it, not great. Oh man, hit sixiron. This is not where you want to be. Tough to see on camera, but there is a massive slope. Anything inside of 10 feet. I’ve got a little bit of a back stop behind the hole. Anything inside 10 ft, I’m going be super happy with. Oh. I just didn’t want to go right under it and I did not. All right. I went from uh not a great spot to a little bit better. Hit a bad shot, take your medicine, take a bogey most likely, and then move [Music] on. And we still have a little work there. Birdie putt. Should be a good one. [Music] Not bad. Felt good about it, dude. This was It was such a confusing putt. Yeah. I was like, it looks like it was right to left and we got the higher up there, but then this one was kind of in a funnel. Yeah. Yeah. That was so strange. Go. You’re going to be fine. Did it get over the bunker? Yeah. That was such a weird I don’t know what happened, but it went Is it okay? Yeah, it’s going to be fine. It’s fairway. Yeah. You may have a little bit longer in it like but like I didn’t top it, but it like died. I don’t know, dude. It was almost like you kind of drop kicked it a little bit. Yeah. I didn’t want to say it. No. No. Dude, tell me. Yeah. No, that’s That was You know me. I’m confused. That’s cool. Going driver high. Let it fly. That should be good. Money. That should be good. I got 172 directly downhill. Now that I’m seeing this hole, every day of the week, I’m begging Driver. I’ll be back. I’ll be back. I don’t know what I was thinking there, but back right pin. I’ve got 95 downhill a little bit. I need a birdie. I don’t want to get shut out here today. But we are going to aim just a little left of that flag cuz you do not want to be right. Be good. Dude, that was sick. How did you do that? Like walked forward with it. Go in. That’s what we’re looking for right there. That was sick. Little walk through on that downhill slope just to make sure that everything’s kind of moving together. I like it, bro. Don’t fight the slope, you know. Yeah. Great shot. This is what we’ve been looking for all week right there. Quality shots. Give ourselves looks for birdie. Good look right here. I’m ready for a pin slammer. I don’t have one yet today. So hopefully right here. Mitch check Monday on a Wednesday, baby. Just got to get this caressing over that slope. Please. Please. Course management skills are so not good. I wouldn’t say they’re not good. You did. I mean, if you’re going to miss the green, you kind of missed it in the right spot. I know. But on that chip, like you got to be you got you got to get it over the slope. Got to be down. Can’t make that mistake. Can’t make that mistake. Bogey putt. Wow. I mean, that was a birdie hole. I made a double. Can’t Can’t do that. Can’t do that. All right. So, my goal today was to shoot under par. Starts with this putt. I need to birdie the last five holes. I’ve done it before. Um, great birdie. We got four holes left. I want to see him ball out. I’m going to make some birdies coming in. We’re going to give you guys what you want to see. That’s right. All right. Three over, four to play. An eagle here would be good. Eagle would be good. We’re going to just let it fly. Driver’s been feeling pretty good. So, kind of aim down the left. Just let it cut around the corner. Well, that was hammered. Unfortunately, there is a bunker over there. If I stayed out of the bunker, it’s not bad. But if you’re in that bunker, you have to lay up. There’s no going for it. It’s not going to hurt you. It’s just another hole. All right, par five. Make a birdie. I got like 260. I’m going right at it. That was a strange flight. It was good, though. I mean, that’s good line. Kind of sky. It’ll be all right. Not where you want to be. And this is a pretty severe lip right here. I’m going to go with an eight iron. I know y’all might be thinking that’s an aggressive play, but I think I can launch it high enough. We should be good. All right. Didn’t go very far. Got it over the lip. Just a layup. And we’re going to have a long iron in from there. We got a little more distance on that than I thought. I’ve got 133. The ball’s starting to fly a little bit now. So, I think we’re gonna go gap wedge. This is course management. Me and Carter have been talking about it. Pin is back, so you don’t want to be long. And it plays uphill a little bit. So, it should just be a smooth gap wedge. And I need to get this up and down if we want a chance to shoot under par today. Down. Down. Down. Man, that came out so hot. I hit I hit that so good. That came out so hot. That is definitely over the green. I knew as soon as I hit it. Wow. First flyer of the day. All right, guys. I’m making a birdie on Zach’s channel. Okay. I don’t care what it takes. Okay. Zach might win the battle today, but the war rages on. I don’t know. I’m long. I’m not in good shape there. If it wasn’t a three-stroke swing your way, I might have a little bit of delusion left, but I don’t think there’s a single percent. 71 yards and we’re going to throw a dart. We might even hold this thing. Kind of feeling good. It might have been my best wedge of the day. I hope it I hope it looked pretty good. I hope it uh results in what I think Oh, we got sand. Dude, we just needed uh Stony’s sand over there. Between Zach and I, we have we have gone through a year’s supply of sand. Yeah, you just can’t you just can’t hit it long at this green. I’m like back edge of that bunker. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I would I would take a bogey and just go to the next hole from here. Like my best case scenario is to just keep it on the front edge of the green. I mean, how dicey do I want to get if I land it like right here and it just gets a super soft bounce? It would look sick. That would be dirty. That’d be the shot of the the week. If you hold this, that’d be shot of the year. Calling it now. Yeah, for sure. Calling it now. All right. We didn’t come here to lay up. Let’s go, baby. You got a comfortable 14 shot lead. You can do what you want. I wish I was a little further up in this bunker. That’s for sure. Dude, did that Are you kidding me, dude? That was literally one bounce from being perfect. I I wanted that for you, bro. You hit that literally right where you were supposed to. That was impressive. That is so That was It just got caught right here in this little line. If that would have kept on coming, it was literally had a shot. That was so good. Dead hands. Yes. Or do you just like blade it? Dude, I like the dead hands and just get it to go like 2 in. Pop it. That was really good. That was really good. You played those two shots perfectly, bro. You just can’t be long here. Yeah. 137 here. There’s a big slope and that pin is actually in a hole in one spot. So, if we hit it a little left with a little cut, little pass, it kind of is going to want to funnel down to that hole. 137 down a little. I’m probably going to go with a pitching wedge cuz you can hit it a little past and it’ll come back. Be so good. [Music] Can two putt that? Absolutely. It’s up there. There are holes that you’re like, “Ah, you can make a hole in one.” this whole location just I was trying to hit a cut in there and catch that side of the slope and I just pulled it a little bit. But if you can get something like landing like up in there. So really not that far right of where I hit it, it just I just saw a hole in one today. I had a feeling. And this putt I’m not sure. All right, this putt’s got to go left. I’m going to kind of play it up on the fringe line. Happy with that one. That was That was a weird putt. Oh yeah. No hole in one. Three here for me. Roll it in. The people want to see it. People want to see it. When the putter’s not working, you whip out the driver putter. Let’s go. I was rooting so hard. I needed a dude for my morale and ego. I was rooting so hard right there. Oh, Carter. Dude, I burnt every edge possible today. It’s those one two-footers with the driver putter when you get a little when it’s 10 ft. It’s like, if it goes in, you’re the man. If not, it’s like, ah, whatever. Use the driver. So those two footers just like I wish I had that putter. I got to give you props. He finished it with the driver. Two pars. Yeah. Both had an opportunity. We did. That’s a sick hole, dude. Like looking up from up there, that was like this is cool. Like this is this ain’t your local MUN. It is absolutely not. 362 yds. Hole 17. I’m too over on this now. I’m going to go birdie birdie. I’m going to do it. He said, “Do I do I just hit it at the pin?” You just got to call your shots. I mean, I literally went down the flag. I know. Whenever I’m like nervous over a shot, I always do bad. Whenever I call it, I feel like I hit it good. So, it’s like, I should just start doing it. You should. Every shot call it. See, I’m learning. I might be 12 over on two days, but I’m learning. I’m learning. That’s all you can do. We’re just going to let it fly. Our hopes of shooting under par today. Not looking good. But, you know, hole out, hole out. I don’t know. We’ll see. I mean, dude, phenomenal work. Yeah, both of those. That’s how we wanted to end. Thank you, sir. Go VSS. You and I both know I’m going to go right at this, though. Yep. Yep. you know, just throwing out there the uh course management stuff and you know, I will one day mature and learn. I will. But just with these last two holes, I’m going to I’m birdieing. Yeah, birdieing. Hey, you do you. I do need to be I need to be more diligent with it. Like I need to think about my shots. I just go up and aim at the pin and go, which doesn’t really I mean, if you’re striping it, it’s not a bad way to be. It’s not a bad strap. 94 yards. I mean, this is birdie time, baby. This is birdie time. We’ve had two good looks the last two holes. We’re heating up. Just got to keep going. Wait for your pitch number. Can’t tell. Is it all right? That looks so good. It looked good. That looks so good. Back trunk. All right. 75 yards here. Good shape. We’ve got a big slope in the middle of the green that I can kind of play it out right and it’ll kind of funnel it to the hole. So, that’s what we’re going to try to do. We’ll see. Saw the hop left. If it was on the number, that could be pretty good. I wasn’t I was try I was thinking about like dead arming a 50 degree to like not have any spin but I didn’t want to go over it and then I just ripped at the 56 and I knew that thing was going to just zap zappy but you got to be below the hole if you’re coming out here when you come out here got to be below the hole that you do absolutely do but this slope right here is is wild you can really like throw it up there and get weird. All right, I’m not reading it. I’m not lining it up. So short I can’t even see the hole. You did not leave that short. I mean, all in all, good stroke. It’s This is probably one of the more uphill putts that we’ve had today. I think I’ve made seven pars and a double on this nine. Got to work on my scoring. After this round, we’re going down to check out the short course. Brand new. Brand new. This place looks legit. 40 to 80 yard shots, nine holes. Take a couple wedges, your putter. So, I’ll overlay some footage right here so you can see kind of what they’re working with. Definitely a spot after a round of golf here at Frenchlick. Just go out there with the buddies, try to make hole in one. Hold on. Let me add into that. Let me just stand on this side so I’m a little bit taller. Um, yeah, we’re going to go check it out. That’s sick. Come on, Z. Yes, dude. I needed that for just like the Dude, trust me, I’ve been trying, dude. Nice. Here you go. That was the roll we’ve been looking for. Send it. Boom. Love to see it. It was going to be okay. We uh got very fortunate that we hit that big of a cut. 164 playing up 175. I think I’m going to go 9 iron. All right, we’re putting. Love to see it. 147 up the hill. I would love to make this, but we’ve got a lengthy one. Anything is possible. That is right. We’re both kind of due for a long putt. I feel like, dude, this this I know I’m gonna make this because this is the one where it like brings you back. It’s like, all right, Carter, you’re good at golf. You will come back and get tortured again. David a run. David a run. This is one of those that’s already been made. You just got to walk the steps. The people wanted it so bad for you. Dude, those were two good rolls with the driver. Yeah, I think I shot two over on this side with a double. Yep. No birdies. It’s my best nine of the entire event.
