If you’re looking for a new set of golf clubs, that’s exactly what this mid- handicap golfer has been trying to do. Trying to get the perfect set of wedges, the perfect irons for him, the perfect fairway woods, and that elusive perfect driver to help him lower his scores. He’s tried them all, but today guys, we’re out here at Gar with a full set of clubs, and we think these could be the one. Dave, we think these could be the clubs. We do. Um, I’ve been playing with them for a couple of three weeks now. Um, I do admit that I’ve not done what you told me to do, which is to go to the driving range and get them gapped. Um, but I am starting to get used to them. And I do find that I am scoring a little bit better than I was. And I’m sure that once I sort my life out and go to the range and you actually listen for once, Dave. But, you know, we can’t we can’t hope for miracles, can we? But obviously here is Dave’s current handicap situation. So first competition we had a drop using these clubs. Dave, we did. Yeah. Um unfortunately I got 02 back this weekend. Okay. Um but I was down to less than 14 which we’re working on and I’m reasonably confident that we’re going to keep progressing slowly downwards. Yeah. So obviously Dave’s got those scores. You see his handicap on screen there, but 142. We’ve gone for the seven iron here. We’ll talk about these irons shortly. So again, a lot of stuff going on with these clubs at a an affordable price if that gives anything away. And exceptional performance. A high towering seven iron right there. If we move round past that go bush, we can see we’re on for a birdie to start with. Dave pike. Happy days. And guys, if you’re new to the channel, then welcome to this YouTube channel. If you want to help us on that journey to 50,000, that would be great. Then hit that subscribe button. And guys, if you’re a regular viewer of the channel, welcome back. So, you will know it’s been an elusive weight trying to get Dave the perfect set. So over the years we have tested a lot of golf clubs but I think now we’ve found potentially the perfect set for him. Again Dave 14 handicapper recently retired club head speed going in the wrong direction. It’s getting a little bit slower but this is where we want to make the game easier and still be able to get his scores down because there’s no reason why Dave can’t get to single figures. It’s just having the perfect setup for him. Today we’re talking about 11 Golf, a hybrid iron company with some very interesting clubs and they have even got a little bit better than when they first came out. Pin high up here for Dave. A fantastic shot there. Seven iron. We’d take that all day. So guys, on this series so far, we have tested Zexio, we have tested Ram, we’ve tested Wilson, performed well. Tunder was the best score Dave twice it was. Again that’s in regards to Dave’s handicap with shots beat it here today with these 11 hybrids. So the reason why I say these hybrids have got better. So you will see on screen now we have got premium KBS shafts. We’ve got some high launch lighter shafts. There’s more options now in the shafts. You will see a big thing jumbo max grip. So, another option that 11 have added in to help you get these clubs perfect. And you might think, well, you order them offline. They’re a direct consumer. That is where you’re wrong because you now can go and get fitted, as you’ll see on screen, which Dave did down at Heraford with Nick, who is a master fitter. Great port, Dave. It’s a solid. It didn’t turn, did it? It’s a solid part to start with. It just didn’t turn. So, next up is the 11 driver. So, the NH01. We’ve got this at 12°. We have got this lofted up for Dave’s perfect settings. But in here, we do have his premium TPT shaft that was fitted with Lawrence. But again, like we mentioned there, grips are a big talking point. Because we have done an online fitting for these Jumbo Max grips and again it’s on an app you can put in glove size obviously shot shape how tight you grip the club and this will give you the best grips for you. So obviously jumbo max grips everybody thinks they are the huge XL ones that Bryson Dshambo uses but you can get smaller ones. So you can get different sizes, you can get small, medium, large, and these all could potentially help you with your shot shape and how you release the golf club, which hopefully we’re going to see from Dave right here with this expertly fitted 11 driver. And that is on the perfect line, a great launch. And that is bounding around the corner. Dave. So far, it’s a good start for 11 all round. So, a fantastic drive in the middle of the fairway here for Dave. So, again, so far Dave doing well. Yeah. And it didn’t go left. Chris. Nope. Correct. Stayed exactly where it started. Nice and straight. Straight over that bunker. So, again, we have all the way up to what iron here, Dave? What’s the longest hybrid? We have five. five hybrid from 11. And we then have a another driver, but a mini driver. We’ll probably not use that in this video because it’s not going to be needed on any of these holes. But what have you got here, Dave? I’ve got the five. We’re going five. How far have we got? Just about one front pin. So 180. Yeah. So it’s it’s right on the limit for this. Right. Let’s see then, Dave. So again, let’s have a quick look at these. So, we know exactly what we’re getting. We’re getting the five iron 24°. We’ve got some customized fererals on there. So, that’s when you go down for a fitting, you can get these KBS Max shafts. We’ve got these are graphite 65. So, I believe they go down to 45 now. And then we do now have the stocked jumbo max grips in the large size for Dave. So certainly doing some good work so far with these. Just needs to actually listen and go and get his yardages exact with these. Sounds like a trip down to waterfront, Chris. Yeah, get down to waterfront. Trackman range. Get your numbers. Grab a bite to eat. Oh, off balance. So, a little bit left there, Dave. But distance-wise looks good, but we’ve got an interesting chip down onto that green. Right. So, pin high again. So, clubbing wise, Dave, so far so good. A little bit left. It’s a shame that we can’t blame the club for the left, unfortunately. But a tricky shot here. So, what are you thinking now? Again, obviously I’m thinking have hybrids. Really high lofted hybrid. And I’m I’m going to try and drop it about there and pray that it goes down the hill. All right. Well, we shall see, Dave. Again, this is the highest lofted hybrid I believe you can buy. 47° classes a gap wedge in this set. So, this is where you can buy these in different sets, guys. So, you can if you don’t want the three, four, and five, you might as you can buy individual clubs. There’s plenty of options from this company. I know there’s a lot of senior golfers, even beginner golfers using these. Dave, you are classed as a senior now. You’re retired. Indeed. Was well before that to be honest. A fantastic shot. Yeah. From there, Dave. Difficult to know what to do to get it any closer than that, Chris, if I’m honest. Yeah, it is. I mean, you obviously you do have other wedges in your bag. We could have gone for maybe a higher lofted one, but it does bring in potentially going over there to get to one under. Two under the best score we’ve had. Zexio and Rams, I believe. Or was it Zexio and Wilson? I think it was Ram. Ram, I think the affordable. It was that long ago, Chris. It was winter. That’s true. Get in. Never in doubt. The driver out again after that fantastic put. We need a good one here. Will this 11 driver perform again? It’s a runner. It’s not the highest, but it’s straight down the middle, Dave. And we’ll take it. I kind of did me old trickery. Yeah. Went after it, Dave. Yeah, loose cannon. However, it’s down there. It is one of the best drives I’ve ever seen this man hit down this hole. So, in position A, Dave. Yeah, I was really happy with that. Yeah, a fantastic drive. Some of the best drives we’ve seen you hit with that 11 driver here at the fantastic Gar. A massive thanks for them getting us out here today. Condition of the course is fantastic. Season is upon us. Right, Dave, what have we got? We’ve got 126 yards, Chris. Okay, 126 yards. So, you have got your I’m thinking this nine hybrid. Yeah, nine hybrids. I see plenty of loft there. Again, Dave said they have taken some getting used to. Obviously, the look behind the golf ball is totally different for Dave, but performance-wise has been night and day, especially from the fitting with Nick again. You saw what? And Dave, you tell us why is it called 11? Because on average, a hybrid, a nine hybrid or a seven hybrid goes 11 yards further than an iron with the same number. So 11 yards further than There we go. I didn’t know that. Dave’s hit me with that fact. 126 yards, nine hybrid. again. Great fly. Just moved on the wind there, but if anything, Dave, too much club. That’s woody in, isn’t it? Yeah, it’s gone a little bit too far, but we’re on the dance floor. We’ll take it. Dreams alive here at Gar 1913. You see the big fear is if you start it off the big fear is if you start it off too far right that’s the captain’s bunker and I really don’t like spending a pound Scottish Paul never pays his pound. Do you know what and it’s his shape of shot goes in it a lot but he doesn’t pay very often. So Dave just repaired his pitch mark and again pin high landing so needs to think about this clubing and actually get these numbers dialed in but we’ve got 30 ft here. two putts to get Dave to the top of that leaderboard again. But I think it’s been the best, the most convincing show of golf so far. Yeah, I know it’s a bit long, but you’d rather be long than short, wouldn’t you? Because generally all the trouble’s at the front anyway. And I think with the wind pull it pushing it that little bit left if it was short with a more of that pitching wedge one it’ have probably pushed it into that bunker. Yeah. Potentially landed in this bunker. Dave’s still just going on about I think to put a pound into the charity’s uh captain’s charity to be honest. But no, you’re better off to be long. There’s not always much trouble long of the greens. We’re now here. If you went 40 yards long, you are going to be out of bounds on the main road. But as a rule, it’s a great P. Just never came back there. A little bit of work left. Side door. Side door. So guys, that has been the best performance I’ve seen with Dave with those new clubs so far. And these are the clubs he’s got in his bag for the start of the season. We’ve already seen a handicap drop. But would you consider putting in more hybrids into your bags? It certainly helped Dave with those mid iron shots, even those long iron shots. But what he didn’t know, it’d even help him with those pitching wedges and nine irons to get maybe a little bit more height, still keep his distance, and obviously then be able to get those scores coming down in the right direction. driver has worked exceptionally well. There was a mini driver in there that he hasn’t used, but there’s plenty of videos on the channel with that club, showing how well he has performed with these clubs. Certainly affordable. Check the guys out at 11. Dave’s going to be putting these to the test against all the clubs coming out for the rest of the year, but I’m not sure anything will beat these. It guys, if you’re enjoying the content, hit that subscribe button and we’ll see you again very

  1. Hopefully Dave has found his driver. Hitting a slight fade down the middle would certainly be his dream.

  2. Dave seems to be crushing it these days. Bravo! Keep it up! I’m in Canada, and the weather is finally turning… So I hope to do the same. 👍

  3. I started out last year with full set of the Ping 430's (from the 10k max driver all the way to the 58° wedge) I hadn't played in over 20 years. I picked these up on the recommendation of my local golf shop. Then I started seeing these in the videos and picked up the 7 a few months back. After the adjustment period, the only irons still in my bag now are my 52, 56, & 60° wedges. at 59 years young, these are just so much easier and forgiving as far as dispersion and distance compared to an iron. It's not even close. I do still use my 10k max, it works well for me (gets me roughly 240 -260 off the tees) but after seeing what the other clubs have done. I'm thinking about trying either the driver or the mini.

This setup has brought me down into the mid 90's on avg. Realistically I'd be happy to shoot low 90's and maybe even a sub 90 once or twice. I will never be to Dave's level, but these things have me going in the right direction for sue.
    Great videos

  4. Go get them Dave. I love my Eleven Hybrids. The only clubs in my bag that aren’t woods and hybrids are my Sand Wedge, Chipper, and Putter. I play 8-GW Eleven Hybrids. The other clubs are PXG hybrids and Woods.

  5. Dave is a golfing machine! Well done and kudos to you as well, Chris. You can see the confidence Dave has in hitting the Elevens.

  6. Well done MH Dave, I'm off to Eleven in 2 weeks time for a mini driver fitting…currently playing 6,7,8,9, eleven hybrids shall look at the XL hybrid too.

  7. Is this a man that's just been informed he is a new grandfather or is it a man that can't contain his happiness at the state of his game @05:26 ?

  8. As a pretty good mimic and a guy who mostly plays by himself, I've taken to amusing myself by "being" Dave on the course. The mimicry comes in when I "become" Chris, commenting on the shots. "Fantastic shot, Dave" on a good one or "Not your best strike" on a not so good one.

I'm sure Chris would say I don't sound anything like him, though.😉

  9. WTG Dave! Your swing is looking great! Speed and tempo is phenomenal…. from Canada 🍁 🍁 Keep it up pal! :🤗 🤗
