  1. I play badminton myself, and I will never understand how badminton fans doesn't understand the fact that the "world record 500km/h smash" is just the initial speed. The shuttle is too light to retain any speed after it has been hit. The 300-500 km/h speed is the speed measured INSTANTLY after the shuttle leaves the racquet. The actual speed when the shuttle reaches the other side is most likely less than half of the initial speed. Other sports like table tennis or tennis may have a lower top speed, but for table tennis, the area you play is significantly smaller, meaning that the ping pong ball has way less time to slow down, which means player have way less time to react. In Tennis case, tennis balls are significantly heavier, so it maintains the initial speed much better, meaning that the ball is most likely traveling at more than 100 km/h over a bigger court, so players have to react and move faster. Badminton IS fast, but it's definitely nowhere near as fast as people are glazing it.

  2. Bruv you don't know about a sport called cricket . Its like hitting a 95 mph solid rock with leather coating and there are literally people waiting for your catch when the boundary for a six is about 75 metres
