Following the Tour. Muirfield Village Golf Simulator.
[Music] All right, I’m going to do a few warm-up shots here. I’m at Mirfield because that’s where the tour is at this week. And let’s see how I can do. I’ve never played this course, so that’s my excuse if I don’t do well. And we’ll go from there. Get a couple warm-up shots here. Oh, that was bad. Look for the green light on my microphone occasionally so I don’t have that normal issue. There. That was better. Guess I should probably be warming up with the driver since that’s my first shot. Just trying to get loose. All right, let’s do it. Before Burefield Village, where the tour is at. All right. as it is every time. 90 is the goal or breaking 90 is the goal. Uh if I break 90, I win. If I don’t break 90, the horse wins. I wouldn’t expect me to break 90 though on this course. Never played it. See if we can motivate all I guess the point of this is to motivate all those people who are shooting. uh bogey golf and around that. That felt solid. Peel off to the left though. Oh, come on. Give me a good kick. Nope. 220 to the pin. Everything to par five. Doesn’t matter what that says up there. Going to have to start aiming right because I’m obviously going to hit a draw. I think I set this thing up for 6,700 yards, too. It was like 75 originally, but that’s way too long for me. See if this It’s a little hard. Oh, maybe not. So close. Well, that was my fifth. I got a two putt. So, I was on in three, two putt. That’s a five. That’s a par for me. So, I’m even par right now. Oh, wow. This is perfectly straight. That looks like a par three on the graphics. 400 yards. All right, let me start this out to the right. compensate for that draw on hit maybe. Nope. Oh. Oh, I got a good kick. Slopes to the right. 163. That’s That’s a really long iron for me. Started out the right over at that bunker. See if I can draw this. Get that fat. I can aim it I can aim the computer to the right at the bunker, but I don’t like to do that. I like to kind of hit it like I would really be hitting it without trying to compensate using the computer. Holy cow. What the heck? Holy crap. 16 yards. But I think I’m standing inside a tree. Why is there a tree so close to the dog on? Oh, wow. Didn’t know how that was going to come out of there considering I was standing in a tree. All right, same shot. 17 yards. This time it’s normal. Oh my goodness. This is my fifth stroke. I got to I got to jar this to save far. [Music] Oh my good. All right. So, so that was my fifth shot. Two putts, seven. Wow, that puts me two over. All right, so I’m going to have to assume that they’ve got this course set up fast for the tour. Guess uh man, I think 90 gal was out spending money. Needs the uh key to the pickup. All right, here we go. That felt solid. 114 second shot. All right. 114. Come on. Two on. Hopefully two putts here. That gives me a stroke back. That’s a birdie. A I got it set up for putting. Or is that on the fringe? Oh, it’s on the fringe. That’s why. Let me set up. Get the putter. All right. So, let’s maybe I can hold it. Actually, save a stroke here. Oh, read that wrong. Still a four. There’s a birdie. Should bring me back to one over. Hole four. First shot. Short par five 186 yards that little T. All right, let’s see if I can start this out at the bunker on the right. Bring it back to the center. Think I did it. Oh, come on. Go left. Well, that’s an eagle. Good try. I want to find par five here. What is this? Hole number five. And that should have took me back to one under. That felt good. Wow. 257. That’s a lot for me. All right. Where’s the hazards on this thing? Looks like the hazard’s on the left. I definitely don’t want to go left. I am going to adjust it here. I got it aimed right at that little bunker on the right. It bottlenecks up there and then goes down to the water. So, I’m going to lay up. I think the smart play is to lay up. 256. Hit down there about 160. Have under 150 left. Oh, and then I hit it fat. God darn it. Darn it. Still good. 62 in order to get past everything. Oh no, I basically have to hit that same club I just mish hit. That’s unfortunate. Oh, I pured it that time. Except it might go left. Get up. Oh, make me take a penalty drop. Oh, that was bad. Darn it. That was not smart golf. So, I’m hitting five. Yikes. My goodness. Then when I take extra club, I actually hit hit it pure. Hitting six. 21 yards. And it was looking good there for a minute. Good drive. Good grief. These greens are fast. My goodness. Putt it again. Wonder if this will pick up my putt without without switching it to putter. Let’s see. Nope. Got to switch it to Come on. You’re fast on everything else. Was that a seven or an eight? I don’t even know. See this bonafide par five triple bogey. That’s an eight. Oo, snowman definitely takes me to over par again. Well, the driver’s working. Guess that’s uh something. It’s actually working pretty good. All right. A little right. Oh, I hit it bad again. And I think there’s a My gosh. Too many hazards. Ridiculous. My gosh. I should be scoring way better on this round. All right, that’s the same shot I hit earlier and I sailed over the green and take some off of it. You give me a two putt at least. No. But again roll. Well, that rolls a lot. These are fast. Double bogey. whole seven. I need a couple pars to stay even here. Actually, I need three cars to stay even. See if I can get a 544 bonafide par five. But that one good if it doesn’t get any branches. 320 left. [Music] A little fat. 178. All right, just hit this one hard. Got it. Don’t stay out to the right though. Stayed out to the right. Killing me. 25 yards. You get up and down for car. Catch that corner. Go roll. Roll. Everything else is rolling. Oie. Oh, I get short par five. Got a chance here. Chance to get a couple back. That little chief shot all the way back here. Did you see where it went? All right. Can’t find that little T. Have to use this one. one I can use for an excuse again like I did on the last video. All right, 175. That’s a gnarly looking green. Everything feeds down right into that bunker. That wasn’t good. My goodness. The part the shortest pars give me the most issues. 33 yards up and down for Eagle. Thought that was perfect. Take into account you got to get it all the way there. This green 10 yards. All right. Up and down for birdie. Slow down. It’s going to give me a two putt for par. All right. This course is hard. Nothing like Hey Matt, you want a hardcore mirror field? Man, it’s it’s it’s eat it’s eating me alive here. Hold that left be right. Wow. I’m gonna have to lay up because there’s a hazard right there. Yardage on that hazard. Yeah. 173. I’m going to have to lay up. Clear it. Good thing everything’s a par five. Oh, don’t tell me I hit it too good. What a knucklehead. Did it get in the water? Oh, it didn’t get in the water. As it lies, no penalty. Good grief. 40 yards. shot I had a while ago. All right. 12 yards. Throw this way up in the air. Hey, it stopped one putt. I think I’ve saved par there. Did I save par? I don’t even know. I think I saved far there. I think that was my fifth stroke. My goodness. All right. 42 yard par five. Started over on the right. Bring it back to the middle. Started on the right and stayed on the right. At least he got past that tree. 184. All right, let’s hit this hard. Just get it anywhere around the green. That ain’t going to do it. Oh my. Oh, I got a little more air than I anticipated. Oh, get in the bunker. Yeah, remember we I love bunkers. Still got the same swing thought as I when I was on the other videos. Just making sure this gets back the label on my glove gets back to square. 19 yards. part par 90 gal. You’re supposed to you’re supposed to clap on every [Laughter] shot. That’s Huh. No, you’re fine. You can you can kind You can get on camera if you want to. They want to see somebody cute, not me. 521. My gosh, this I shortened up the yardage on this dog on course, too. My goodness. Stinger. Oh, don’t go left. Don’t go left. All right, it went left. Oh, that was right there. That was so close to staying up. Too many penalty areas on this course. As it lies, no penalty. Wow, it didn’t get in the water. Now I got to hit a big old draw. You know what? I’m gonna have to use a computer to aim on this one. If I can find the It’s going to naturally swing to the left, I think, even without my draw already. All right, let’s see what I can do here. Oh, no. That was because of that that awkward stance I had standing in the water still in the penalty area. My gosh. I’m just going to go back to the fairway. I actually had to take a penalty on that one. So, I’m hitting four. Oh my gosh. This is getting ugly. All right. I don’t know what to do here. I’m hitting six. I’m just stinking this up. Hit that bat, too. Is there anywhere that doesn’t have a dog on water hazard? Looks like I can play that. No, I’m all right, man. This hole is eating me alive. That water hazard that’s goes throughout the whole hole here, I’ve hit it on every shot. My goodness. I’m only on hole 11. Definitely going to be a loss. An L. What is going on? That hit the what? All right. This is starting to get crazy. I never I’ve never hit a hazard that many times in one round. My gosh, my swing is just gone now. Oh, I actually got lucky on that one. I don’t even know how many strokes I got on that one. Okay, I’ve played 11 holes and I’m plus 20 under normal circumstances. That’s nine. So, I’m nine over. So, I’m on track for a 99. Holy cow. 165 yard par five. Maybe I can get a couple strokes back here. Oh my goodness. Didn’t even register it. Did it register it? Yeah, it did. Know what happened there? 14 yards. Let me get this way up in the air. So, I got to open the club face a little bit. kidding me? I’m not putting it. I don’t even care at this point. And I am a bunker hitting fool. If I hit this many bunkers in real life, I’d be the best bunker player on the planet. Yay. It took like 15 holes to have a a decent hole. A birdie. How far is that hazard? Can’t even far as that hazard. Let’s see what we got here. Yeah, I shouldn’t hit driver here, but whatever. Keep it out to the right. Now kick left. Think I’m going to change my name to par 100 guy after this round. Oh, that was little stinger. Cool. See if I can get in with some birdies here. Slow down. Get in the hole. One foot. Another birdie. Couple birdies in a row. Only took 95 holes to get there. Four. 516 yd. Par five. Five par five here. Oh, that felt solid. Right down the center. All right. I know there’s a hazard up there. How far is it? Maybe I should start trying to miss these hazards. Okay. Aim it out to the right and take left club well behind it. Are playing some smart golf. 16 holes into it here or 15 holes into it. Freaking idiot. Oh, two nice shots. I actually took the right club on both of them. I might have to have a revenge round right after this on this course. Good grief. 94 yards. Third shot. See if I can get inside the circle and get another birdie. That felt good. Felt like the right strength. And it was a little short. Darn. 11 yards. Be able to get this inside the circle. Oh, that’s too hard. Another boat. I knew that was a little too hard the second I hit it. Got it a little too good. Oh, another sharp short par five. Sweet. See if I can get a two here. Make up three strokes. [Music] Just hit it normal. I hit it so hard on these short par five. Oh, come on. Had to had to go a little left. Two putts for eagle though. Eagle’s what I needed. 429 par five. All right. Maybe I just two. It is 255. That’s That’s a bomb for me. got one 271 on the court on the course yesterday. Yeah, that’s that’s like two shots for me. That’s going to stay out to the right. A little long too. [Music] Below me. Below my feet. Or below. What is it? 10 feet below me. So, just going to get it on the green and let it roll. Oh, got to get it on the green, though. Oh, that was that was an optical illusion. It looked Darn it. Oh, par. Hole 18. 419 419 yard par five and I need a birdie. That felt good. Come on back. Come on back. Come left. Come left. I’ve drawn everything. I hope I didn’t turn my hands over on that one. 202 left. Try to hit that same shot. Leave that club face open a little bit. Hit it. I didn’t really need that though. 33 yards. All right. Oh, that was a good shot. Get in the hole. End it with a birdie. It’s the way to go. My new name is going to be par 100 guy. I shot a 96. That’s plus six for me. That doesn’t sound that bad. Still broke 100. [Music]
