I’ve been very lucky to experience a lot of things this year and this is right at the top of those experiences. The Manor House in Castle Combe, The Cotswolds, was first class, just a chance to stay there was an experience in itself.
The Adidas team never miss when it comes to attention to detail and providing memorable experiences, truly grateful for the relationship and to be given the chance to feel part of the family. 🙏
Now lets talk about the Originals Collection. I really like what Adidas did with this collection (sure you would say that Sam 🙄) and the major reason why I like it is because it would have been an opportunity for Adidas to really bump prices, make it really limited and make the collection smaller which for me would see it lack impact. Instead, they kept pricing realistic and they created a large collection which allows the brand to really celebrate the Originals heritage while still keeping a modern, performance feel AND be accessible to a large number of consumers. Kudos to the team for that!

All right, guys. We are here at the Mana House with Adidas for the next day or so. Um, country retreat event celebrating the originals launch. Um, this place is absolutely just nothing short of stunning. Few bits going on. We’re playing off tomorrow. We’ve got some events going on this afternoon. Some cool people here that I think you guys will probably know. So, uh, yeah, I will, um, take you for the journey. It’s going to be fun. [Music] Content, mate. Right. How big is the camera? [Music] Friends. Friends. So, we uh we’ve been chilling for a little bit as you’d have seen and just getting ready. We’ve got a little uh a little slot to uh to go and do some uh some content with some of the originals drop. don’t know how much of it I’m going to be able to show you because there is stuff that won’t launch until July. Um, and it’s kind of in the room in amongst everything else. So, it’s going to be tough to sort of show you um a lot of what’s in the room, but I’ll try my best. Um, but there will be some content going up on uh on my Instagram. So, do do head over and uh and check that out. Um if uh if you want to see I think we’re going to probably just try and put an outfit together I think from uh from what’s uh what’s in the room. Um so yeah should be uh should be fun. I will take you along and show you as much as I can but yeah you might not see you might see the activities afterwards or afternoon tea. So uh yeah welcome to the originals country retreat. I just thought I’ll I’ll kind of do like a bit of I’ll just walk through and have a little look before showing you guys. Check out this bathroom. Check out this bathroom. You might heard one of the ladies say that you’ve got two uh baths. Hold on. What the actual hell? This How much space have I got? Is this bigger than my bedroom at home? Goodness me. Guys, we got to do a shower head check. Yes. Bang on. We have been told that we’ve got to stay in our room um and have our mobile on us between 4:30 and 5 and we’ve got to answer the door when we get a knock. So, I don’t know what that’s about, but it could be something uh could be something quite interesting. Also, how cool is this pillow? Oh, Adidas never miss with the details. And we finally got the cool the little knock on the door with some little goodies. So, let’s uh let’s go through them. So, we got a little originals towel. Oh, sick. How cool is that? How cool is that? Carabina, by the way. It’s going to go on the golf bag tomorrow. Lovely little Adidas head cover. Oh, beautiful. Is that fairway wood? like sort of fairway wood. And then apparently there’s a surprise in the egg box. The lady said there’s a surprise in the egg box. Let’s open this up. Do that with one hand. Oh, look at that. Oh, TP TB5s. TP5s. Little Rory golf ball. Oh, we’re using those tomorrow as we are just strolling down to uh to drinks this evening. Should be a uh should be very very fun evening. Hopefully I’m not cuz the dress code was a little bit like what do you do dress codewise? I think I’m all right dress codewise, but we we’ll soon see. Guys, we’re going back for the shades. We got to go back to the room. Go and get the shades. Shades are on. Um, it’s a Michelin star style restaurant tonight, so I feel like I’m uh I’m not going to be overdressed in a in a shirt, chinos, shoes, summertime vibes. What a day. What a day so far. [Music] On the table. [Music] Just got back to the room and we were told at dinner that we were going to have some bits left in the room for us to wear tomorrow. So, I’ve just got back to the room here. Look at that. little logo on the back. Let’s uh let’s let’s just chuck it down. Let’s see what we’ve got. Yes. Start with the polo shirt. Really clean polo shirt. Might have to give this a bit of an iron actually ahead of tomorrow. Uh but uh but yeah, super clean polo. Lovely little pocket detailing there as well. Trousers. We’ve got the gorgeous little double pleat trouser detailing down the side there as well. Oh, it’s going to look fire with the uh with the shoes that we’ve got for this trip. And then jumper wise, little V-neck. This thing is just absolutely class. Little detailing there. Nice and soft. Could have worn it this evening. Guys, that is what we’re wearing tomorrow. Absolutely buzzing. Going to uh going to turn in now. Good night’s sleep. I’ll see you guys in the morning. Good morning, guys. What a uh what a morning. It is paradise. Just uh heading down now to uh hopefully grab some breakfast. Wasn’t a uh wasn’t too much of a uh of a late night, which is good. Didn’t drink too much, which is nice. I’m feeling freshish. Uh but I’ve got to find my golf bag now. So, these are buggies with everyone’s stuff on. Now, I have a nice new towel and a new head cover. So, we got to try and find buggy somewhere. Find out who we’re uh who we’re sharing with as well. Guys, I am uh I’ve got esteemed company today. Um, I just got to my uh my my buggy and uh we’ve got Henny with us today and uh I can already see something masters related on her bag which is already making me slightly jealous. But let’s uh let’s put these on. Job done. Right folks, we’re just waiting on Henny to arrive. But little outfit check. This is a polo. Originals polo. Nice little pocket polo. Love the collar on this. These are the trousers. Love these trousers. Got a little double pleat going on. Got some some three stripes down the side. And then guys, the footwear for today. We’ve got the kith joints. Oh, been waiting for a uh for a little while to wear [Music] these. Cuz it doesn’t [Music] mean it doesn’t me. Cuz it doesn’t mean it doesn’t [Music] mean I was inside. [Music] Uh we’re about nine holes in, 10 holes in. So much fun so far. So much fun. The golf course is really fun. Uh getting to play with Sean, who you would have seen on the Adidas Munich vlog. Um director of apparel uh for Adidas. So talk to him about all things apparel. We’ve got Henny. Been really cool getting to know Henny a little bit. Um and so yeah, it’s been so much fun.
