Some people don’t know how to golf and some people are terrible at golf and still want to try…
That’s where EST producer Zach ‘Koob’ Kubusch finds himself today. He discovered an interest in golf when he joined the EST team a year ago, where he helped produce The VIP Golf Show under hosts Murray McCourt and Curtis Stock, which caused him to start practicing the game himself. He watched golf videos, went to the driving range, but he never got in touch with a real Golf Professional to teach him the trade…
With The VIP Golf Show starting back up again, Murray McCourt could no longer stand his producer’s poor golf game, so he got Zach in touch with Cam Martens, a local Golf Professional to start giving Zach lessons…
This is the first installment of what is set to be an interesting and entertaining venture for young Koob….

Biggest advice I could throw a beginner is really focus on not moving your head when you are swinging. Pick a spot on the ball and concentrate on it throughout the entire backswing and follow through. Yours arms, shoulders and body all rotate but your head does not. If your head lifts up even a little bit your shoulders, arms, hands and the club all come up with it and makes it impossible to hit the ball cleanly.
Good luck buddy I’ll check these videos out as they come see how you improve!
You’ve got until July 8th Koob, stay focused!
This will be great to follow along your progress! Awesome job Koob!
Koob I love it. I know you will get the swing and then you will be hooked when you hear the sweet spot hit I will be watching
You’ll get this Koob, that swing looks clean once you can hit that ball!
Koob, judging by the EST heroes that participated in the hole-in-one challenge last year, you're really not that much worse than most of us… Once you get the hang of making contact with the ball, you'll improve pretty quick until you hit the next plateau in your game.
Great job Zach!
One hundred is the number that Zach will be breaking; Every week we'll tune in to see what's shaking; Just remember Zach, all gas and no braking; And if you don't succeed, how 'bout competitive baking?
