The DP World Tour returns to Austria this week as the European Swing continues with the Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand. Being played at Gut Altentann Golf Club, the 18-hole golf course was the first in continental Europe to be designed by 18-time Major Championship winner Jack Nicklaus. With us now less than four months away from the Ryder Cup, two of Team Europe’s principal architects of their victory two years ago in Italy are in action. Luke Donald, who will lead the European team for the second time at Bethpage later this year, is joined by Edoardo Molinari, who will again assume his duties as a Vice Captain in New York.

Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the DP World Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.

The man out in front is Germany’s Marcel Schneider. 6366 bogey free out there today to lie at 11 under par. Tony Johnston. What about this young man? Recent winner and he’s got all the skills around the greens and that won’t hurt his score. Chakara, recent winner on the DP World Tour. Excellent player. Nice part from von Delingous. He’s just smooth this one as well. Trying to take some spin off that it and done it exceptionally well. That is a beauty. Is it going to get a little bit better here at the ninth? his final hole today. He’s already made what what four, five, six birdies, no drop shots. And thank you very much. That is a 63 from Callum Taran. And the Englishman is within three of Marcel Schneider at the top here in Austria. Nicholas LMI. Third shot at six. Oh, beautifully done. And he gets back to even power. That’s quite comforting. Well, that’s the cut line. The hardest hole on the course, number six. We were wondering if he was related to Terry Gale. Fantastic Australian player for decades. Dylan Naidu, winner of this year’s South African Open. hasn’t really got it going since then. Oh, beauty. He’s at eight. He’s four under par. Should be taking dead aim from the fairway. Oh, delightful. He’s second in greens and red stats. Oh, I love the statistics. What a beauty that is. It is two birdies in the first three for Dan Hillia. So, he moves to six under par. eyeing it up and down. Always a good sign. A quite a firm first bounce. pick your spots where you want to hit it to. And Lucas Ne was in here in that seat you’re sitting there right now. He made a good point actually yesterday. He said you don’t, you know, when you play a practice round, yes. When you play a practice round, yeah, you go around the course. He said, but you don’t really know the course. [Music] [Applause] You’ve got to hit this left of the flag. Um but from the tea box you’ve got the water overhanging trees so it’s quite visually difficult to get it there but you just have to commit great by um how there Nakajima at the par three seventh he’s one of those guys that just makes the game look easy swing strong as an ox great packing stroke Edge for Hong Lee. Looking at this right flag control spin is a must. [Applause] [Music] There’s a man putting well, isn’t it? That went in at a really good pace for How Tong Lee. Yeah, right over the FL. He’s fantastic swinger at the club. I think Nakajim saw the approaches from Dan Hillier and Kate Nakajima both leaving themselves good chances. And Nakima takes his first birdie today. Michael Lindberg back on the DP World Tour. He had to go back to the hotel planner tour last season and that will do very nicely. Thank you, Hillia. Also at the 13th, twothirds of the way around. Von Deing Howen’s second shot into this par four. 445 yds. Oh, look at that. That’ll do. Great shot. Very good shot indeed. Yes. I think he knew he’d made that as soon as he hit it. Have another little look. Bit of right to left on this for long and then straightening at the [Applause] end. Richard Manel’s second shot at this 12th hole. Sharp dog leg from right to left. It’s a good hole actually. That’s a very good shot from Manel. Back to 12. Peterson now he starts that well left trying to cut it into this flag here stay there. That’s a very good shot as well. Two great shots into that 12th. Go on. Go on. It’s got the line. Beautifully done. Beautifully done to six under par. That’s a good recovery, Tony. Remember he had that horrible little run, didn’t he? He dropped a shot at six and then made the double at seven. He’s got all of those drop shots back. Beautifully played. That says it all. Finally. Finally. Second birdie of the day. Well done. 162 back into the breeze for Langas. Front right pin. Bail out is a little left. Very good. level P. You don’t want to be leaving until the par five final hole. Start grabbing a bird or two now to just alleviate the pressure. Dylan Naidu at the 15th. Oh, there we go. So, back to plus two. Probably still needs to finish birdie birdie birdie to make it through at the 15th to try and get to two underpath for Marcel. This will get him just inside the top 40. And he’s done it. Well done. [Applause] Hilly up for par. Back at 14. Oh, just enough on it. Oh, has he let it just drift a little? Yeah, just a little to the right. That’s all right, though. Isn’t it? And very open club face you got to have for this shot. Accelerate through this shot. We didn’t do that. That was hideous. Should finish with a par five for around [Applause] 66. Here’s a five of the last for Nikolai on Dellinghouse and makes his bar round a 66. One bogey today, one bogey yesterday and looks like he’s going to go into the weekend within two shots of the lead hunting a first DP World Tour title.
