  1. I think this is my problem, I hit many of my irons thin – out of the bottom two or three grooves. If my trail knee moves out too far, My hip goes with it and I'm into shank country ! I've tried trail foot back before with some success but I've never coupled this with keeping my trail knee going to target rather than out towards the ball !

  2. Stopped watching after he taught to move out of position. That stance can cause too much draw. Not a good video.

  3. To stay down just stay down! We stand up 99% because we stop rotating (the body is lazy and doesn't wanna be in such an uncomfortable position). Making yourself to stay down automatically forces you to fully rotate (nowhere else to go).

  4. The drills are good, but actual individual results depend on whether or not your body is physically able to make these movements with regard to flexibility, range of motion, agility, strength and motor control. If not, you need to hit the gym to change your body, or you will always keep early extending…

  5. I've been standing up in the swing for a long time. Playing with my right foot back for all my shots seems to be the only way to counter it. Still hoping to over come it though.

  6. We straighten up in a subconscious reaction prevent chunking. So our reaction is to straighten and thin it 30 yards passed the green. Do this back and forth thin to prevent chunk then chunk it to prevent the thin you then wind up with the yips.

  7. I've always known in my swing that I stand up with any club in my hand at point of contact. …without a club, arms across chest I don't. Eric, I've been playing golf for over 30 years and your right foot back tip was a god sent for me. FINALLY, on my first swing with a pitching wedge, my right shoulder followed through and what a great feeling. More power, more natural AND I hit the ball 10 yards farther. Driver, wedges etc…all clubs were longer. This was the one major component to my swing I seemed never able to fix…Thank you SOOOO much.

  8. If i keep a soft bent trail arm into impact and decent p6 i really don't stand up. Standing up seems to go with extended arms too early and stalling. But im not sure.

  9. As a now “senior” golfer I’ve been trying to go back just to fundamentals to improve my game. Recently I’ve learned in all of your swing to move that right foot back for a better swing. Now to add the shoulder through is a bonus! Thx.
