2025 Cherokee National Enduro Vlog

Round 2 (or round 3 if you count the cancelled Louisiana) of the NEPG series takes us to Greensboro GA for the Cherokee Enduro. Little rain for Saturday created some slick conditions for Sunday but honestly, this was probably the best Cherokee I’ve ever ran. Included the whole section 4 from the race. Hope you enjoy!

All right, everything’s packed up. We are headed to Georgia for I guess round two of the Cherokee National. Come on, River. Come on. Load up. Good girl. What’s up, kiddo? Just waiting on your mama. All right, it’s about 3 and 1/2 hours. Going to stop for some fuel and then stop by mom’s as well and then be there at about probably around 7 7:30 if I had to guess. We’re here at mom’s ice cream shop. She’s in there working. Got River over here. Britney’s finishing up her cone right now. And then I got a milkshake. It’s a peanut butter chocolate milkshake. It’s really good. River got her pup cup, so it’s ice cream time. So, we’re going to enjoy this, hang out with mom for a few more minutes, and then hit the road. Well, we got camp set up. We found where Paige and John were set up. So John had his weed eater. So we cleaned up the little area with some grass and got the bike out and got the awning and everything. So about to start setting the bed up in the back and then we will cook a little bit of food. Not really overly hungry, but we’ll get some food going and then uh probably call it a night. River’s out here playing frisbee. She’s enjoying the open field. Still working on the bring it back. She’ll bring it to you. She just doesn’t want to give it to you. But we’re working on that. But weather’s beautiful. Clear skies, probably drop down pretty comfortable tonight. So Paige is over there ruining a AT82. He claims he’s fixing it. Doubt that it’s not going to be better. Drop. So, take all that as a positive for the day. Um, trail was slick, but it was fun. I’ve definitely done worse George’s. It wasn’t really that hot today cuz it’s still overcast. So, that was a blessing. But yeah, had a fun time. I haven’t looked at results yet, but I think I got either second or third in class, which I will take that all day long. That’s that’s tough in 38. So, but yeah, it’s about 3:45. We’re rolling home. Should be home in about 3 and 1/2 hours or so. So, why are you laughing at me?
