TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – The 2025 Boys State Golf Tournament wrapped up on Tuesday, and a few teams local to WIBW’s viewing area took home hardware.

Wamego secured its 3rd straight 4A State Championship with a three-stroke victory over Hayden, who placed second with a 624. The Red Raiders totaled 621.

An eagle by Regan Kueker on the 16th hole secured the win for Wamego. He finished second individually, just one stroke short of first with a 143.

Manhattan took 3rd as a team in 6A, finishing with a team score of 589. Charlie Haney and Tate Reid tied each other to finish 5th, shooting 142’s.
