Joel is one of my closest friends in the business. I get told things all the time by wrestlers and they tell me to “keep that a secret.” I always reply with the same thing – “no problem, I don’t talk to people. I talk to Hardcore and Joel Bateman and that’s it.”
Joel has been a tremendous supporter of mine going absolutely above and beyond and doing anything he can to help and encourage me. He’s a real gem of a human being and that’s a very common opinion about the guy!
It’s a sincere pleasure to have him in my life and I never take the homie for granted.
I’d love to attend one of his phenomenal DMDU shows but that would almost certainly involve having to poo on an airplane which is a situation I’ve managed to avoid for 40 years. I’m sure we have some much more advanced airplane technology right around the corner that will either speed up flights or make pooing on an airplane a more sought after experience. Maybe there’s one of those little put-put golf courses your feet rest on so you can put while you poop.
