To all my friends saying they're that close to being pro. 342 yard drive, pin high second shot, hits the green in regulation within 10ft of the hole, nails his putt and dude is 619th on tour.
For such a long hitter, how is coming up short with wedge(s) in your hand in your bag.
Spoiler, everyone knew it was the pro golfer who would win. There’s a reason when watching Sunday there’s not long drive champs on the leader board at pga events
Kyle needs to call Gary Woodland. He was my KU golf counselor for 3 years. He would work with me on the driving range with my swing and really cared. What a good dude. He was the longest driver in the NCAA at that point in time. We would gather around and watch him hit driver on the range every day as long as we could lol. The Range was 375 yards and he would effortlessly carry it. He flew balls into a backyard that was at least 40 yards behind the range. Straight as hell 98% of the time. If you've seen a ball hit that far in person you know that you eventually lose it in the air and just wait for a noise or hopefully see it bounce lol. The difference between him and Kyle though is that Gary didn't look like he was trying. Swing was smooth as hell and the club never got to parallel at the top. That was just for us though…. all he really practiced were shots 100 yards and in and putting. He was so good naturally off…. Kyle has a "long drive swing". Gary knew he couldn't be successful at the next level playing the way he played so he completely modified his game and now he's had a great PGA career. US Open Champion. He developed an unreal 2 iron stinger off the tee and he also started just hitting his driver maybe 50% lol with an out to in swing path and learned to put a TON of spin on the ball. He wanted to hit a butter fade and the ball to hit the ground and stop. He learned distance…. even if you hit it straight can get you in a lot of trouble. It became all about placement for him. Kyle! call Gary…. he knows what you need to do to go from just an elite long driver to a legitimate PGA pro.
Kyles second shot is pure ego and failure to adapt. He’s hitting a gap wedge from 170 because his ego won allow him to hit a PW or 9i from that distance. He’d rather miss a green than club down and hit the green.

There is a reason a tour player has a card, consistency. I can out drive a 4 handicapper but I’m lucky to beat 100!
To all the golfers out there, don't focus on their club name, ask what is the loft. Buddy over here doing a gap wedges thatvhas a 44° loft. Chill.
Nice lay up
Sloppy sloppy
The boys are spraying the place lol. No point being long and cock-eyed. Count your strokes for lost balls !!
A gap from 170 is just dumb
172 gap wedge???
“172 yards – gap wedge”🤦♂️

That’s the most forced after swing move I’ve ever seen 😂
why wouldn’t you hit a pitching wedge into the green there? you were at least 20 yards short on a full shot
172 yard gap wedge… yeah you can f right off hahaha. I am very impressed
Why not play someone like DeChambeu

Its fake.
The hang time of that drive is bonkers.
Club up 80% swing is better than 100% with short wedge still coming up short

Hence the saying "Drive for show. Putt for dough"
That 240 yard 4 iron was BEAUTIFUL. I know it landed in the bunker, but god damn
Drive for show, putt for dough!
Great video (other than it being on Donald J Bellend’s golf course).
Long drive (circus clowns) are NOT golfers.
God bless that red line 😂
I want to be a pro
Hits it 412 yards on a 500+ yd par 5. Less then 200 yards to the pin in the second shot. Still gets a par… Distance doesn’t matter kids…
Can you hit the ball far? Yes
Can you golf? No
How emasculated must this clown feel after initial tee shot. 😂
GREAT VIDEO. Nice bird, Marcus!
Hitting it far means nothing to the score card if you have no short game
So you can hit a putter 200 yards. Seems pointless to me
619 hits it 342. And the pga says there are only a few pros that can hit it over 300
342 is still so good. And to hit it consistently and accurately. 👏
Drive for show, putt for dough
I would have got GIR with a 240 yard drive.
Kyle swinging 100% with a wedge and missing a green by 30 yards is just expected at this point. Failure to adapt
